Guidelines for Guest Posters

The main thing is that I want good writing. Quality topics might be nice too. It’s kind of boring to be writing the same thing over and over. Guest writers will be evaluated based in part on the readership they bring in. If they bring in lots of readers, we will probably keep them on. If people don’t like to read their stuff, it might be time to go. Posts will be evaluated for quality, mostly of the prose itself. This site is intended in part to be a showcase for high quality, or at least decent enough, writing. Your writing has to be at least good enough, and I have high standards. That said, some of the regular commenters are great writers. Some are just good writers. Novelty in topics is a hallmark of this site, and that’s always a good idea in guest posts. Try not to write the same piece about the same issue that everyone else is writing. Try to write about an unusual issue or point of view that you don’t see very often. Guest posts probably need to be pretty much in accord with my general political, social and life philosophy. It’s probably going to be pretty hard to run any rightwing post of any kind. Overt racism and anti-Semitism, as defined here on this site, is probably out too. If you want to showcase your stuff, we can do it here.

  1. Good Afternoon, Robert.
I came across your blog on accident; however, the information you have have provided in regards to the Delphi case is quite intriguing. I truly hope that someone from LE has been enlightened by what has been posted by yourself, and your guests. I, for one has been engrossed; and now finding myself attempting to dig deeper into the details from prior submissions on sites that family, friends, or locals have posted. I believe that some small details may have been overlooked as insignificant, but your post has truly made it all seem very likely.
As I stated I came across your site on accident, and will be forthcoming that I recently signed on to WebSleuths to comment if anyone had read your eye opening post…that got banned; which I’ve questioned, and have realized that they truly do not wish to have a discussion, and through out scenarios, or ideas; just discuss pointless non-consequential repeative verbiage.
That being said, I’m so thankful to come across your post, and plan to follow; and if allowed add my two cents whenever possible.
    Warmest Regards.

    1. FYI..
I’ve now been banned from WebSlueths; just received notification that after posting on Day 1, I’ve been considered to have caused problems since joined, and banned for life. Never knew private questions to a moderator, Coldpizza could cause such a reprimand. Thank goodness your posts have clarified the reason for the site to be worthless.

  2. Actually, I referenced your initials, and inquired if anyone has read, or seen the additional pictures and information that you provided. The moderator right away snipped my very first post, and stated that it has been established in the very beginning that individual is not to be discussed. I replied stating not the RL that was arrested that it was you, with your full name. He/she responded stating that they knew who I was talking about, and it would not be allowed. So, I then inquired about a do not post list of names, and where it is located so I may reference…..yes, sir; my little inquiry put he/she over the edge, and stated I was a problem child. However, they will talk endless chatter over non-related issues, and wanted to bring up a legitimate conversation.
As I previously mentioned, I came across your blog; which is more up my alley due to substance.
