This Does Not Exist

This suitcase nuke does not exist.

See this fake picture of a suitcase nuke? The pic is fake. Fake, fake, fake, fake. How do we know it’s fake? Because not only do suitcase nukes not exist, but even if they did, they could never fit into this suitcase here.

A footlocker from 1943, used by the US military in WW2. Think you might attract attention carting this down the street? Yeah.

They would need to fit into a gigantic footlocker. Not only is it so huge that it was attract much attention, but the nuke, even if it could be compressed down to the size so small to fit into this locker, would have to be so heavy that it could hardly be carted around. With a 40-kiloton yield, I assume that it would have to weigh around 10 tons or 2,000 pounds. You’d probably need at least a forklift to even pick the thing up.

As you can see with this disgusting piece, the terrorist nukes meme has been picked up by of all people, the Palestinian nationalist movement.

The suitcase nukes were always held to be developed by the USSR, but in the latest mutation of the lie, they are now held but the new version of the “Soviet Menace,” the land everyone loves to hate…drum roll…Israel! The evil Israelis either made them themselves or they got them from the equally evil Americans. Anyway, the diabolical Jews are set to set off one of these suitcase nukes in the US in one of their infamous false flag operations.

Sure, Israel’s done a few false flags, mostly long ago. But the False Flag crowd is really nutty. Every time some Arab commits some atrocious terrorist attack (an Arab specialty since Arabs specialize in terrorism), guess what? It’s not really Ay-rabs that done it! It was really those darn sneaky Jews! Damn those devious Jews get around!

2,000 Fatah-Lebanon Guerrillas Go Over To Hezbollah

This is a most interesting development.

Fatah-Lebanon has about 5,000 guerrillas under arms and a long-term presence in the refugee camps. This is a reduction of almost half, from 5,000 to 3,000, of their force. It also swells Hezbollah’s fighting size by 1

The leader of the faction who went over is named Munir Maqdah. He’s long been known as a radical. When the US invaded Iraq, he sent over many Palestinian volunteers from his camp, Ain Hilwa, to fight with Saddam’s forces. Many were present at the end in Baghdad and suffered serious casualties. When they tried to evacuate afterwards, they found that many locals would not help them, since the locals hated Saddam.

After the insurgency began, Ain Hilwa kept sending Palestinians to fight with the Iraqi guerrillas, who at that time had many moderate factions.

There are rumors that he has contacts with the Palestinian groups who have gone over to Al Qaeda. The Lebanese Army fought a war against some of these idiots, who include many non-Palestinians, especially Saudis and Syrians, in refugee camps in the north of Lebanon a while back.

However, Al Qaeda-Lebanon seriously hates Hezbollah, and I doubt if Hezbollah trusts Al Qaeda at all. Many Sunnis, especially in the north, also hate Hezbollah. Christians are divided, with one faction under Aoun supporting Hezbollah and the Falange disliking them strongly.

Background on the Camps

The camps themselves are the result of many thousands of Arabs ethnically cleansed from northern Palestine in 1947-1949. They moved across the border to Lebanon and have been in camps ever since. The Zionists scream about how the Arabs keep the Palestinians in these camps instead of making citizens out of them in order to keep the conflict going. Sadly, there is some truth to this. In Lebanon, the Palestinians may not become citizens, and their ability to work to support themselves is seriously restricted.

However, in Lebanon it is is the pro-US and pro-Israel crowd who hate the Palestinians and want to keep them in the camps. Many proposals have been made to integrate the Palestinians into Lebanese society, but they are always thwarted by the Christians, who fear the demographic implications of many new Muslim Lebanese in society.

Lebanese Christians Oppressed?

The Christians are hardly oppressed. They are dramatically overrepresented in government since there has not been a decent national census in about 50 years while the numbers of Christians have declined. The Christians have been holding up a reasonable census for some time as it would mandate a reduction in the number of their guaranteed seats in the government. As it is, they are guaranteed a number of seats far in excess of their population.

There is no discrimination against Christians as the Falangist liars and their Zionist punk allies insist. In fact, the Christians have always run the place, often with an iron fist. Outrageously, the US Marines landed in Lebanon in the late 1950’s to enforce a Christian coup that took place after an election resulted in the Christian President losing the race. Yes, US Marines landed to prevent a democratic election from having its results instated. In your whole lifetime, the US MSM will never tell you about this affair.

The Christians have always hated the Palestinians from the moment they ended up on Lebanese territory. They forced them to stay in the camps, but then they wanted them out of the camps too. In Sabra and Shatila in 1982, the Christians murdered 3,500 unarmed Palestinian civilians while the Zionist allies under Ariel Sharon watched with binoculars and surrounded the camps so no one could come to rescue the victims.

The raid was intended to be part of a campaign by the Falange to rid Lebanon of the Palestinians once and for all. Sharon was subsequently absolved of this crime by a fake Commission in Israel and went on to win accolades as a popular President. Apparently, your average Israeli thinks Sabra and Shatila was a-ok.

Background on the Maronite Christians of Lebanon

It’s difficult to say why the Maronite Christians hate the Palestinians so much. There is another group of Christians in Lebanon – the Armenian and Greek Orthodox – who were pro-independence, support Hezbollah and even started the suicide bombing trend in Lebanon in the early 1980’s. But that’s because the Lebanese Orthodox look East, not West like Maronites, as I will elaborate below.

The Maronites were initially sympathetic to the Jews who moved to Palestine as another Judeo-Christian group from Europe. The Christians had held out in the mountains of Lebanon for centuries of Muslim jihad, forced conversions and even massacres – there was a serious massacre of Christians there by the Druze in the 1860’s.

The mountain hideouts were impregnable, hence the Maronites, the Druze and the Alawi in Syria were able to survive centuries of hostile Islam. The latter two are heretical Muslim sects who also survived by pretending to be Orthodox Muslims, disallowing intermarriage and conversion into the sect, and only allowing a few trusted leaders to know the truth of the religion, while your average follower scarcely knew what the religion was about. Hence, while some Muslims said the Alawi and Druze were heretics, this was hard to prove.

When the Crusaders came to retake Jerusalem, the Maronites helped them, seeing them as fellow Christians come to rescue them from the Muslims.

As a result of long centuries of survival against Muslims bent on converting them, the Maronites have a reputation for being some of the toughest, most hardass Christians in the Middle East. They also don’t like Muslims much at all.

The Maronites are interesting because they have always looked West, to Europe, to Rome. They are Roman Catholics and not Eastern Orthodox as the rest of the Middle Eastern Christians are.

This Eurocentric outlook also resulted in a deep alliance with the French colonizers. In fact, Lebanon was originally carved out of Syria to give these hardy Christians survivors a “homeland,” on the same grounds that Israel was carved out of Palestine as a homeland for the Jews. As a result, many Syrian and even Lebanese Sunni Muslims regard Lebanon as a “fake state.” Syria has always regarded Lebanon as a runaway province.

The Maronites never wanted the French to leave and were often regarded as traitors by independence activists. All over the Middle East, Christians and Jews often worked hand and hand with colonizers and did not want the colonizers to leave, probably fearing independence under hostile Muslims. Hence, many were regarded as traitors by Arab independence activists.

Why Zionism is Uniquely Dangerous

A new commenter, a Zionist of uncertain heritage, has appeared on this anti-Zionist blog. I will first unveil his comments below, then I will explain how they encapsulate the unique menace of Zionist thinking.

Hi there.

Interesting set of comments; some intelligent, others less so. I’m particularly interested in land claim rights, myself. The whole debate over “Ashkenazim Jews are fakes… they’re really Khazars” rests on it.

As you point out – and others have since – Ashkenazim Jews are most genetically identical with Palestinian Arabs and Kurds… and no-one is suggesting for one second that Arabs are Khazars!

But the Jewish claim that they have a right to return to Israel because of genetic descent is refuted because…well…because it’s been too long since they’ve been away.

Alright. What makes a fair and acceptable right to return to, control or own any bit of real estate on this ball of dirt? Q: By what right did the Muslims conquer and thereafter rule Palestine in 638 AD? I mean, back then it was part of the Christendom empire of Byzantium (having previously been part of the Pagan empire of Rome… previously ruled by the Jewish Hasmoneans…)

A: Oh, that was ages ago! Why bring that up!? Palestine is Arab land, Palestine is Arab land, Palestine is Arab land… ‘cos, like, it was Arab before it was Jewish and I don’t like it being Jewish. So f*** off!

Hmmm…

Okay. There are 300 million citizens of the USA. About 500,000 of them descend from First Nations.

Q: By what right did the Europeans effect a conquest upon the Americas and wipe out 9 A: Oh come on! That was over 500 years ago! Why bring that up? This is totally irrelevant! Who cares what the Europeans did!? We’re criticising the Jews here ‘cos that way we don’t have to look at the sh** in our own history.

Let’s try one more time…?

Q: By what right do the Chinese invade and conquer Tibet – kick out its sacred ruler, the Dalai Lama, slaughter the people, destroy their culture…

A: The Chinese had always laid claim to Tibet, and were merely regaining a rebel province. They’d never rescinded that claim even though Tibet was partially or totally autonomous since 1350AD…like, over 600 years of “disputed territory” If China’s got it back, that’s okay. ‘Cos, like, there’s 1.3 billion Chinese and there’s only 13 million Jews…so it’s easier to shove Jews around…and, besides, China’s got a seat on the UN Security Council and Israel doesn’t.

All this is important because it sets a precedent for The United Nations to determine a new set of ‘rights’ – Rights of Land ownership, Rights of Possession, Rights of Return…that sort of thing.

To suggest that a two thousand year old Land Claim is somehow not valid because…because it’s, like really old…is logically indefensible and hypocritical in the extreme.

The Zionist claims are as honest or as fraudulent or as questionable as those of any other people.

In the Jewish case, it works like this:

1. Every other country we’ve ever lived in has hated us, persecuted us, been jealous of us and then kicked us out. They don’t want us to live anywhere. Frankly, they’d rather see us all just die out as a people to make a convenient solution to their Judenfrag. That ain’t gonna happen.

2. Israel is our ancient Land – we never gave it up. We’ve come back. Anyone wanting to stay has two choices – share or move out. You Arabs don’t seem to understand the meaning of the word “share”. (Remember 638AD… you know.. .that conquest thing…? “Once Islam, is always Islam”…? Yeah, right!) 2. You tried to wipe us out in 1948. You lost. 3. You tried to wipe us out in 1967. You lost. 4. You tried to wipe us out in 1973. You lost. 5. Anyone see a pattern here….?

This is a new commenter here. I haven’t the faintest idea if he’s Jewish or not. The arguments and the furious passion behind them are typical of Jewish Zionists, but Gentile Zionists often use these arguments too, and there are hundreds of millions of very dangerous Gentile Zionists on this planet too.

These ideas are so toxic that they demand to be confronted head-on and full-force every time they lift their heads out of the swamps where they reside.

This is typical Zionist crap, but it’s an exceptionally poisonous worldview.

The world has moved beyond the principle of conquering, annexing, ethnically cleansing and settling foreign lands via warfare, especially since the Geneva Conventions of 1947 and the establishment of the United Nations.

The fact that the Geneva Conventions and the UN threaten to end once and for all the principle of conquest, annexation, cleansing and settling of foreign lands via war is one reason that Zionists have singled out the UN and the Geneva Conventions for particular contempt. The Conventions and the UN stand in the way of their whole barbarian project.

The Zionist game says that this is the way it’s always been for humans (true) so this is the way it’s going to be. Further, as this fellow suggests, any and all aggrieved parties the world over now have a right to fight irredentist and revanchist wars to reclaim ancestral land that was stolen. Can you imagine the chaos?

Conquering and stealing land is the way that every nation on this Earth got formed. In the overwhelming majority of cases, the indigenous have renounced their rights to their land and agreed to share it with the invaders. The Arabs have not done this.

American Indians. Zionists always bring up the Indians. Americans acted like shits, so hey, Jews can be shits too. Anyone else can be shits to boot, forever and ever I guess.

Yes, in a less enlightened age, we conquered the Indians, they surrendered, and now we share the land with them. This is not a mirror of Israel – a State For the Non-Indians of the World. This is a state for all of us. The Indians can go anywhere in US, buy up any land, Hell, they can buy the whole place back if they want to. Indians are not second class citizens. In fact, they are super citizens. They have rights well above those of the rest of us. The comparison between Indians and Arabs is invalid.

As the boundaries of most nations are just lines drawn by invasion and ethnic cleansing, we have say that there is a time frame to get your land back, and once you renounce it, it is gone forever.

Otherwise, the Jews’ example means that everyone gets to go fight revanchist and irredentist wars all over the globe to reclaim all of their ancestral lands. No, the Jews do not get to go back to Palestine 2000 years after the fact and reconquer the land. Why? Because Arabs conquered it in 636? So? They didn’t even conquer it from Jews. Jews were long gone. They conquered it from Christians. Are Jews Christians? Didn’t think so.

Granted, the Jews are not the only such scumbags in the world today, but they are some of the worst.

That’s why there are so many UN resolutions against Israel. If you look at those UN resolutions, you will see that similar international outlaws as the Jews have also been slammed over and over by the UN on similar grounds.

The scofflaws: Indonesia over East Timor and West Papua. India over Kashmir. Turkey over Cyprus. Iraq over Kuwait. China over Tibet. Morocco over Spanish Sahara.

And Israel.

Notice anything about these outlaw countries? They all conquered other nations’ land in wars, annexed the territory to their state, and then conducted massacres and ethnic cleansing of the conquered peoples.

They are international outlaws, the state equivalent of the criminals you see on Wanted posters in the post office.

The Indians, the Indonesians, the Moroccans, the Jews, the Turks, the Chinese. All nationalist barbarians, every single nation. Twisted menace molded into state form.

China and Tibet? Most of us anti-Zionists also oppose China’s bullshit in Tibet too.

Anti-Semitism is a tragic thing, and it’s the cause of this whole mess. The anti-Semites created Israel. It’s their baby, they made it. The more anti-Semitism, the more the Jews cling to Israel and the last refuge in a murderous world. Obviously, more anti-Semitism is not the solution the mess in the Holy Land! The anti-Semites are as guilty in this outrage as the Jews. The Jews didn’t try to wipe themselves off the face of the Earth. The anti-Semites did.

The pogrom and persecution line of Jewish history is not very accurate. For one thing, Jews here in the West and the Anglosphere live extremely comfortable lives. There are some problems in France, but that’s all due to the Zionist Problem. There are problems in Russia, but Russians and Jews have never gotten along.

This group is .

Oh, those poor, pitiful helpless Jews! Shivering in their hovels in the muddy streets of the Pale, waiting in terror for the Czar’s next pogrom! Please. Playing the pogrom and persecution “poor Jews” game with this elite of all elites ethnic group in 2010 is like sick comedy. Spare us.

Portraying this outrageously powerful group, which is now a major faction of the Oligarchy of the World, as latter day residents of the Warsaw Ghetto is ludicrous. Much worse: it’s a horrible insult to the starving, doomed Hebraic fighters in 1944 Poland.

One reason that the Jews are particularly dangerous with regard to Zionism, as opposed to the other barbarians who have been pursuing similar projects, namely Iraqis, Indonesians, Indians, Turks, Moroccans et al, is that those other primitives have no power in the world to speak of. They have little wealth, military power or media power. They’re flies in the Earth’s horse barn. They’re nothing.

So it is the power of the Jews combined with the menace of their barbaric conquest and annex project that makes them so uniquely dangerous.

Jewish minds sit in the world’s top think tanks, swarm the world’s weightiest corporations, fill the halls of law schools, crowd judges’ chambers and flood the Bar. They reign supreme in the most powerful government on Earth. They and their Gentile Zionist allies hold stupefying media power worldwide. None of that is necessarily a bad thing, except that they use this otherworldly power to push their Zionist project with Mach force.

And it’s not so much the project itself – a tussle of a tiny sliver of land – that is so nasty. It’s no worse than Morocco and Spanish Sahara. It’s more that the power of the Jews means that they have the potential to shred world governance and norms and the other scofflaws don’t. Further, if Zionism is ratified, as the poster above notes, logically, we have to open up the entire planet to a hornet’s nest of irredentism and revanchism based on claims going back at least 2000 years. How the Earth will be torn asunder!

But this is how it works. Jewish legal minds, the best on the Earth, pen brilliant defenses of the principles of conquest, annexation, ethnic cleansing and settlement of foreign lands via conquest and publish them in the world’s premiere legal journals.

Via their weighty think tanks, confetti of position papers and endless legal argumentation, they attack the UN and the principles of International Law like termites on speed. They’ve long ago set their scopes on the UN, the Geneva Conventions, the World Court, the whole thing. With their brains, power and money, they can blast holes in the Legal Fabric of the planet like no other group.

Even The New Republic Now Calls for a Party Purge of Corporate-owned "Centrists"

Even The New Republic Now Calls for a Party Purge of Corporate-owned “Centrists”, by Glenn Greenwald. Greenwald is one of top liberal bloggers. His site is Unclaimed Territory and gets tens of thousands of hits a day. He was formerly a constitutional law and civil rights attorney, but his blog has been so successful that apparently he has mortgaged it into a writing career and left his lawyer job. He’s authored three books in the past three years and now gets regular writing gigs. It’s hard to believe that he’s making more money writing than practicing law! Here is his former blog, now moved to Salon. The guy made the bigtime with a Blogspot blog! Incredible. I have not talked any about the health care debate, but I am sure that you know where I stand. Fully 7 The pubic option is much misunderstood. It just means that you will have a choice to buy into a government run health program, which I guess will be something like socialized medicine, i.e. Medicare, Medicaid and that horrible health program that every Congressman has. I really favor single payer, and it’s the best program out there, but I guess it doesn’t have the votes. The insurance-company run for-profit medicine system is shit. Michael Moore’s movie Sicko makes that quite clear. I don’t understand all these Whites yelling about how great health insurance is. I guess they have not yet gotten too sick or too hurt. After all, the shit insurance model is all based on making money off denying you care. The more care they deny, the more they make. The more care they approve, the less money they make. Now why would it be a good idea to be covered by private medical insurance, given that obvious capitalist reality? If and when you get too sick or hurt that your insurance plan dumps you (matter of time for most of us), you will have to burn through every nickel you have and every tangible asset you own until you are so damn poor that you can go on Medicaid. I guess conservatives think that’s cool? What’s so cool about that? I don’t have money or many tangible assets, but if I did, why should have to burn through all of them and go poor just because I get sick or hurt? Why would anyone with money or assets support such nonsense? Why not have the state pay for the care due to my injury or illness, and that way I get to keep all my money and stuff? Which is all conservatives care about anyway, money and stuff. One big lie is that the public option will drive out all the private insurance companies. Lord, I wish it were true that anything would put this gang of thieves and vipers out of business, but surely a government plan would not. Left unstated is why the public plan would theoretically put all the private folks out of business anyway. I mean, competition, right? If private insurance is so sucky that anyone with a brain would take off and go buy the public insurance instead, then according to market logic, the private entities deserve to die, right? That’s like Neoliberal Economics 101. Anyway, there’s nothing to worry about. All you fools who so love your evil private insurance needn’t worry your little heads one bit. My understanding is that in most every nation that has socialized medicine (other than Communist countries), you can still go buy private insurance if you are stupid or masochistic enough. But indeed, my understanding is that hardly anyone does. Once again, if it’s so wonderful, why does hardly anyone buy it in states that have socialized medicine? So with 7 You see, as Greenwald points out, this is really all about money. Both parties are controlled by corporate interests, just the Dems somewhat less so. You get a Liberal Corporate Party and a Conservative Corporate Party. Turning the Dems into a corporate party was the brainchild of the Democratic Leadership Committee. Rahm Emanuel is the DLC point man for Barack Obama. The idea was either Dems or Repubs take corporate money, and if we let the Republicans get the corporate money, they will win every time. If Dems take it too, then we at least get to win sometimes and can come in and kind of sort of maybe almost a little bit once in a while do piecemeal, half-assed reforms here and there. A health care plan with no public option is shit. There’s nothing in it for me or anyone that I care about. All it does it force everyone to buy the evil called health insurance. If you’re poor or low income, the government subsidizes you so you can buy the shit called health insurance. How is that good for anyone’s health? It’s not. Supposedly it’s good for taxpayers, because we fork over lots of dough to serve the uninsured in emergency rooms. This way they have to buy insurance so we save. Whoop-te-doo. What good is that? Everyone else is forced to buy this overpriced insurance poison, and many are going to go broke paying for it. If you don’t want to go broke, now the state will force you! Wow, such a wonderful plan. What it really is is the biggest piece of corporate welfare in the history of the US. So billions of working people’s ill-affordable dollars get shoveled to some of the most vile corporate slime in the country. Somebody show me the upside? Greenwald’s post is interesting. The New Republic is basically the liberal wing of the neoconservatives. The jerks who known as the Neocons, so prominent in the Bush Administration, are really just the rightwing of that movement. The liberal wing has similar roots as the conservative wing, coming out of the 1970’s, the aftermath of the Vietnam War and in particular the aftermath of the 7 Day War and 1973 Wars in Israel. The liberal neocons are as Jewish as the conservative ones. These guys are basically the same “Cold War Liberals” as the neocons, but they did not go as far to the Right as the rest of them. TNR spent most of the 1980’s fulminating against the USSR, welfare, liberalism and Arabs while supporting genocidal Latin American regimes like the Salvadorans and of course, Israel. I used to subscribe to this magazine, but finally I gave it up around 1983. I wasn’t hip to Jews yet, so the magazine mystified me. After it got taken over by uber Israel-firster Marty Peretz, he stacked it from top to bottom with liberal Jewish neocons. About half of every issue was about Jews, Jewry, Israel, Judaism, Judaica or whatever. Even the book reviews was usually some Jewish reviewer reviewing a book by a Jewish guy about Jews. The whole exercise was one of endless Jewish solipsism. I read all this stuff at the time, but the solipsism never made sense. Only when I figured out Jews did I understand the solipsism. Jews are probably the most solipsistic humans on Earth, part and parcel of their hyperethnocentrism. To Jews, it’s all about the Jews. What’s all about the Jews? Well, everything, pretty much. They just can’t get enough of themselves. Up until this year, TNR has continued to beat the drum for the Blue Dogs, the liberal neocons, the Democratic Centrists and other losers. Jew Lieberman or Joe Lieberman or whatever his name is is like God incarnate to TNR. SuperJew and Liberal Neocon Jonathan Chait is one of their top writers, and reading him gives you a good insight into the mindset of TNR. Well, finally, even TNR has had enough with the Rahm Emanuel  – Barack Obama Centrist corporate controlled Democratic Party. They’ve become even too Republican-like for the original Democratic Centrists. The about-face by TNR, among other things, shows there’s a liberal rebellion growing in the Democratic Party, and it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in a while. Let’s water it well and let it grow.

Gilad Shalit May Be Released Soon

Via Debka, Palestinian and Egyptian sources are reporting that Gilad Shalit, the captured Israeli soldier who has been held by Hamas for for almost 3 years, is going to be moved to Cairo in a few hours. The Egyptian police are presently securing the path on which he is to be transferred because Al Qaeda types would probably like to capture him. In Cairo, no doubt Shalit is going to be released to the Israelis. Israel is denying the reports, saying they are unfounded, but that may just be diplo-talk. If he is being released, it is nearly on the 3 year anniversary of his capture. A top Egyptian general was said to be in Israel several hours ago. He was probably putting the final touches on a prisoner release deal. In exchange for Shalit, Israel is apparently going to release Palestinian prisoners, possibly up to 1,000 of them. He has reportedly been treated well during his captivity. One of the stated reasons for the Gaza invasion early this year was to either force the release of Shalit or to find him and free him. Neither succeeded. Earlier today, a huge crowd of Israelis blocked entrances to Gaza to 1,400 UN and relief vehicles trying to enter from Israel. They were demanding humane treatment for Shalit. Shalit was captured by a combined team of Hamas, the Army of Islam (Al Qaeda Palestine) and the Popular Resistance Committees (includes members from Fatah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas) on June 25, 2006, who tunneled through the border, attacked an Israeli border outpost and captured the wounded Shalit. In total, 2 IDF troops were killed and 4 others wounded in the raid. 2 of the raiders were also killed. The purpose of his capture was to force the release of prisoners, but it did not work. There were reports recently that Israel has agreed to release 1,000 prisoners in exchange for Shalit, but it’s not known if they are going to go through with that.

The Role of Iran in Arab -Islamic Resistance to Imperialism and Zionism

This post will provide an overview of why the Iranian regime is hated so much by US imperialism and Zionism, and why they plotted a Green “color revolution” to throw out one of the last holdouts of Arab – Islamic resistance in the region. Except for Iran, Syria, Hamas-Gaza and Hezbollah, all of the rest of the Arab and Islamic World has folded in the face of the Zionist onslaught or been bought off by US imperialism. Saddam was another rejectionist, but the Zionist traitor neoconservatives engineered an illegal invasion to bring him down. Ghaddafi was threatened with invasion by the same folks, and promptly folded. The Palestinians now effectively have no outside support. Egypt collaborates with Zionism to police the Gaza border and assists in the starvation and deprivation of the Gazans. Egyptian police prevent guns from flowing to the Gazans for their noble resistance to the Zionist enemy. Jordan was captured long ago. Elections are not allowed in Jordan, because the 6 Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco are bought off and sold to the US. Anti-US and anti-Israel demonstrations are regularly crushed with brutality in Tunisia. None of these states are democracies, because democracy would allow an anti-Zionist and anti-US regime to be elected. In Arabia, there are no democracies. All of the regimes are sold out to the US. There are US military bases in all nations, for the sole reason of policing the Arabian peoples. The effect is that the Arabian peoples are under a dictatorship of US military bases combined with local satraps and Quislings. It’s true the Saudis allow fighters to go to Arab lands, but only to Iraq to fight the Shia that they hate so much. Lebanon has been under imperialist-Zionist assault for years now. With the election of a French Jew to head the French state, France is now firmly in the Zionist camp. This, along with a colonial attachment to the Lebanese fake state that never died, explains why France has gone along with imperialism-Zionism in Lebanon. Iraq is now occupied by imperialism-Zionism in the form of the US military and will be occupied into the forseeable future. Iraq was attacked because it was one of the only Arab holdouts that stood steadfast against imperialism and Zionism in the region. Also, they allowed no bases and opened up their oil to non-Americans. The invasion, in collaboration with the Zionist enemy, was planned to remove the holdout Saddam of the Arab resistance, to remove the competitors of US oil companies from the oil fields they were developing, to take over Iraq’s oil for the US, to use Iraqi oil to flood the oil market and lower the price, killing the Saudis and Gulf states of their oil weapon (the Gulf Arabians, while US allies, are distrusted by International Zionism, and they hatched the Iraqi invasion). With permabases in Iraq and the biggest US embassy on Earth in Baghdad, US control over the region was seized by force. It was only due to fortitude that the Iraqi resistance soon led an insurgency against the invaders. If they would not have done this, we know for a fact that the US military would have done a “left turn at Baghdad, and headed for Syria”, as their Zionist masters were ordering them too. With Iraq out of the way, Libya was quickly subdued with threats of force. Arafat was murdered by the Israelis. They placed a Mossad agent as his cook and poisoned his food. The Abbas clique went along with the poisoning since they hated Arafat. Getting Arafat out of the way was a long-standing goal of the Zionist agenda. Then elections were held in Palestine, but the results came out wrong and Hamas won. The Abbas forces were trained by the US to be the shock troops of Zionism in Palestine. Indeed, Abbas forces are utilized primarily against those Palestinians in Hamas who still dare to resist the Zionist enemy. A plot was concocted to oust the pro-Syrian regime in Lebanon, but it failed. Syria probably killed Hariri, but Hariri was selling out Lebanon to imperialism and Zionism, and Syria would not stand for that. What does Syria want? One thing and one thing only. They want the Golan back. For this, they will sacrifice everything, the Palestinians, Arabism, you name it. The only card left that Syria holds to enable it to get back the Golan is their auxiliary force in Lebanon, Hezbollah. This is why Syria must not allow Hezbollah to be dismantled. If Hezbollah is dismantled, Syria has lost their last cards too get the Golan back, and they will never be able to get their land back. The killing of Hariri resulted in international pressure against Syria, including sanctions. There was also an international effort made to disarm and dissolve Hezbollah. The effort to get rid of Hezbollah seems to have failed, although pro-Hezbollah forces won 4 A few years ago, with the connivance of US imperialism, US neoconservatives along with Israel concocted a plot to attack Hezbollah in Lebanon. The purpose here was to decisively defeat Hezbollah and wipe out their substantial missile stockpile. This invasion largely failed to accomplish this mission. The UN was then given the task of occupying South Lebanon to enforce Zionist and imperialist rule on sovereign Lebanese land. This effort has largely failed, as Hezbollah has restocked their missiles and they are now better armed than before the invasion. This background shows you that Ahmadinejad is one of the last holdouts in the region against total dominaton by US imperialism and Zionism. This is why the Iranian regime is being targeted so forcefully.

I Don't Hate the Jews; I Hate Everyone

Repost from the old site. This piece was written 3 1/2 years ago, but it was one of the most popular pieces on the old blog. It begins with me getting banned by Richard Seymour from Lenin’s Tomb, a British Trotskyite site that anyone on the Left out to be proud to be banned from. The piece lays out the development of a British analogue to the US neoconservatives, what I call the British Pro-War Left. Both movements are led and dominated by Jews, and both are largely animated with Jewish hyperethnocentrism and Zionism. As this movement is about as important as the neoconservatives, it is interesting that little has been said about it. The blog Harry’s Place is Ground Zero for these noxious characters. I edited this for length. This piece was read and praised by Kevin McDonald, the famous US critic of Jewish influence in America. I left some comments recently on a comment thread on a post on one of the sites I frequent, the Leftist Lenin’s Tomb. I went back to check them the next day and three of the four had been removed by Lenin, party-line style, with the notation “anti-Semitic comment removed”. After that were more comments of people appalled at my “anti-Jewish outburst”, saying I believe in the Vast Jewish Conspiracy, etc. This particular sub-thread started out when I misremembered Tony Cliff’s relationship to Israel. As the former leader of the British Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party (SWP), I thought I had read he was Jewish (he was) and had taken a very wimpy, almost pro-Israel line on the Zionist question. I suggested that he took such a pro-Israeli line due to his being Jewish (duh). It turned out that I was totally wrong on Cliff’s Zionist line – he was a very hardline anti-Zionist to the very end, and good for him. After some research on Trotskyism, I apologized for my error. I then posted a brief history of Trotskyism and its relationship to the Jews from the site of a Jewish professor in Canada, Werner Cohn. I said Trotskyism had been largely Jewish in the 1920’s, 30’s and early 40’s. It was still a heavily Jewish movement up until 1967, when Trotskyism started to mark US imperialism and the Zionist entity as prime targets. At this time, coincidental with the 1967 War, which caused many Jews, especially in the US, to rediscover their roots and passionately promote Israel’s cause, many other Jews also left Trotskyism in disgust due to the movement’s intensified anti-Zionist stand. I then noted that Israel is often an Achilles heel for many Jewish Leftists. I pointed out that in my studies of the neoconservative movement in the US and the “Pro-War Left” (PWL) movement in Britain, one thing struck me – so many of them were Jewish. That US neoconservatism is a Jewish-led and Jewish-dominated movement is clear as air with enough study – see, for instance Kevin McDonald’s superb work on Jewish-neocon link. The British PWL Movement is a movement that I just recently became aware of, exemplified by such blogs as Harry’s House, Johann Hari, Norman Geras, Oliver Kamm and such authors as David Aaronovitch, Harry’s Place are Jewish, as are Kamm, Geras, Cohen, Phillips and Aaronovitch. Hari says he is not Jewish, but has Jewish relatives, whatever that means. Kamm, Geras and the Harry’s Place folks are Marxists or former Marxists. Hari appears to be a social democrat. Philipps is a progressive along the same lines as I am. Cohen and Aaronovitch seem to be “Tony Blair liberals”. Over and over, as I delved into the PWL, went to their websites and read their stuff, I got suspicious. They wrote excessively about the Jews, Judaism, Nazism, Muslims, the Holocaust, Israel, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. They reviewed many books and other works by Jewish authors and playwrights. They also reviewed books about Jews, prominent Jews, Judaism, anti-Semitism, Nazism, the Holocaust, the “Muslim threat”, Israel, and endless combinations of these themes, such as this book by a Jewish author about Jews and Nazism. Or this look at a book by a Jewish author on slavery with a perils of evil Islam reference tossed in. They often discussed Jewish movements, leaders and thinkers and the role of the Jews in this or that movement, trend or school of thinking. They wrote poems and haikus about Jews. All of this cross-referenced eternally in the familiar solipsistic sense of the Jewish tribal activist or the hyperethnocentric Jewish person. Here are some examples of this odd (to me) solipsism: Here Norman Geras writes a post on the famous French novelist Emile Zola and elides discussion of Zola’s writing, instead focusing on the peripheral issues of Zola’s relationship to the anti-Semitic trial in the Dreyfuss Affair (note: Jews, Zionism and anti-Semitism references all tossed in here) and Zola’s obscure Jewish wife. Here Geras writes another post on the death of the unknown Jewish copy editor at the New Yorker, and mentions the great author James Thurber, the magazine’s most famous author (who had his writing edited by the Jewish copy editor) only in passing. Here Harry’s Place accuses an innocent man of anti-Semitism and throws in some Islam-bashing for seasoning. Ah, such lexical and thematic dexterity. How to work so many obscure references to Jews, Nazis, Judaism, Zionism and anti-Semitism into one post without doing somersaults? Despite their liberal-Left leanings, oddly, all of the Pro-War Leftists were Zionists, often hardline Zionists, with the usual obsessive, paranoid focus on the poor Zionist entity and its interminable sufferings. They bashed Christians in the usual Jewish chauvinist style while never uttering a single unkind word about Judaism. There was the expected obsession with the Terror War and the evils of the big bad Muslims and the familiar near-pathological hypersensitive obsession with anti-Semitism. As expected, they obsessed on the swarms of anti-Semitic hobgoblins, real and imagined, infesting the planet, lurking under every bed and jumping out at the Jews from around every corner. As usual, they sensationalized even dubious of reports on anti-Semitism. Of course, most of the people they called anti-Semites were innocent of the charge, including the sublime Jewish prophet howling in the wilderness, Noam Chomsky. Chomsky is a noble, brilliant Jewish runaway slave, fled to the “North” and criticizing the happy life of the Jewish slaves on Master Organized Jewry’s plantation. Oliver Kamm in particular has made almost a full-time job of Chomsky-bashing on a wide range of subjects. The obsessive venom and condemnation of Kamm’s missionary War on Chomsky strikes me as absurd. Worst of all, Kamm makes the outrageous insinuation that Uber-humanist Chomsky is a Holocaust denier! Hey Oliver, what’s all the furious energy expenditure really all about here, anyway? In other words, all the hallmark signs. A lot more suspicion and a little more digging and I slowly confirmed that many of the British PWL were British leftwing and liberal Jews moving Right with the War on Terror. In fact, the PWL Movement may be a parallel, later movement in tandem with the Left-to-Right drift amongst US Jews that spawned and fed the neocons. Something similar seems to be taking place with some of the French Jews since the Terror War onset. We see the same trend in the US, and not just with the neocons. Within the broader US political sphere is a Rightward movement within a heavily-Jewish faction of the US Liberal-Left and Center towards “neoconism” that adopts some of the neocons’ rhetoric but not the rest. It is exemplified by blogs like Michael Totten, Meryl Yourish, and Winds of Change, authors like Paul Berman and Mickey Kaus and the heavily Jewish socialist journal Dissent. Whether or not the Jews at Dissent will go all the way to the Right as the proto-neocon Jews at Commentary Magazine did during the early 70’s remains to be seen. All of the bloggers and authors above, many authors in Dissent, and at least one of the main posters on the Winds of Change blog are still “Pro-war liberals”, and Dissent remains Leftist. Mickey Kaus is a centrist Jewish Democrat associated with the most conservative elements of the Democratic National Committee. Kaus is associated with Martin Peretz’ ultra-Zionist, morally bankrupt Centrist abomination, the New Republic magazine. Peretz is yet another former liberal Jew moving Right into diffused, morally confused Centrism since at least the early 80’s. Mush of the rest of the staff of the New Republic is Jewish and seem to have made similar ideological journeys as Kaus and Peretz. Meryl Yourish, who has a nice blog, is a Jewish media worker from New Jersey, a former liberal, repulsed by the Left for its “hostility towards Jews” and racing towards the mushy center. Although many US Gentiles have been making similar ideological shifts, I noted repeatedly that US liberals and left-wingers moving to the Right were often Jewish, much more than one would think by chance. All of the US Jews moving to the Right profiled above are, obviously, passionate Zionists. Another example, starting further to the Left this time, is Jonathan Edelstein, New York Jewish Leftist Zionist blogger at the superb blog Head Heeb. I have been watching his blog for a couple of years now, and though he denies it, Jonathon has been moving slowly to the Right on the question of Israel. When I first saw his blog he said that he didn’t want to write much about the Terror War because he was tired of it. Jonathon said his occasional posts on the Israel-Palestine conflict would take a balanced view. He wrote, “Sometimes I will support the Palestinians and sometimes I will support Israel”, which is not something Zionist Jews often say. His vision of a humanitarian Zionism almost made Zionism seem acceptable. A recent visit showed that Jonathan has moved much to the Right on Zionism and Terror War issues, although he seems blind to it. Yet he remains on a Leftist and a progressive Zionist. In the thread, I said what we were seeing in so many of these Jewish neocons and the Jewish PWL movement was that the advent of the War on Terror was causing them to deepen or recover their previous Jewish identification, and consequently, causing them to deepen or sprout their Zionist ideology and support for Israel. Here is Norm Geras confessing that this is precisely the process he underwent after 9-11. Here is another similar confession by a US Italian Sephardic Jew, John-Paul Pagano, a former Leftist in his youth, who moved rightwards in college, then transformed into all-out neocon after the 9-11 experience. He now runs a nice blog, Fightin With Grabes, a US version of the Harry’s House blog noted above, focused primarily on the “anti-Semitic Left” and the “New Anti-Semitism” bugaboo. Pagano, a fine author, is still proud to be a liberal, and to his credit, he is willing to take on the more fascist-like elements in the neocon ranks like the rabid yahoos at the Little Green Footballs blog. As a side note, Pagano is apparently an ancient Sephardic Jewish name that may mean “pagan”. Since I doubt the Jews called themselves pagans, I suspect that the anti-Semitic Christian neighbors of the ancestral Paganos bestowed the name on them. There were actually communities of “Pagano Jews” in the Mediterranean at one time. As noted above, a similar process of increased Jewish identity and deepened attachment to Zionism occurred in most US Jews after the 1967 War (Chomsky has noted this), gave rise to the Jewish-Israeli Lobby in US politics, and caused a tectonic shift in US support for Israel, beginning under Henry Kissinger in the 1973 War. The German-born Kissinger was (and remains) a strong Jewish tribal activist and passionate Zionist. Since then, US support for Israel and the power of the Jewish-Israeli Lobby in the US have both continued to increase, off and on, to the present day. We are now at the bizarre point under Bush where we are so close to Israel that we may as well make it a state, except no state gets anywhere near such lavish benefits as Israel does. Or perhaps we should just merge the two states in our minds as “USreal” like some of my Arab nationalist friends do. In the thread, I said these Jews moving to the Right in these pro-war movements were taking sides in the Terror War, and picking their tribal identity over their human identity – they were choosing to be Jews first and humans second. Which of course is not particular to Jews but is the case with many tribes, clans, nations, states, and religions everywhere and through time. Choosing one’s tribe over one’s humanity is known to increase dramatically during wartime, and may even be a good idea, survival-wise. In the thread, I then noted two prominent US War on Terror warmongers, one a Clintonite Centrist, the other a Leftist moving rapidly to the Right. For Leftist sprinting to the Right is Christopher Hitchens. To be fair, Hitchens still considers himself a Leftist, but most of the Left appropriately treat him like a leper. For Hitchens, former basher of such precious icons as Mother Theresa, it was a breathtaking shape-shift. Hitchens, like Albright, is another suspicious case. Like her, he too found out late in life he was 1/2 Jewish. In the years following this experience, he started moving increasingly to the Right, especially in the neocon sense. Hitchens the sellout is obsessed with Israel’s Arab and Muslim enemies (though he refers to them as enemies of the US in the typical US Zionist feint), sucks George Bush’s toes and plays honorary leftist Bush supporter court jester to King Bush in USreal’s War on the Enemies of the Jews (War on Terror). His ultimate self-abasement was his “Why I’m Voting Bush” column in the Nation before the 2004 election. I suggested that Hitchens’ discovery of his Jewish roots and his subsequent move to the Right may not be coincidental. Then I said that such mental shifts were common in Jewish converts, who often become passionately committed to Judaism (to the point where born Jews are embarrassed by them), develop a peculiarly intense Jewish identity, and begin to experience a fear of the Gentiles, as in, “When are the Gentiles coming to kill us Jews?” Also noted amongst new found Jewish converts is a desire to associate less with Gentiles and more with their new found tribe (possibly due to the fears above). This conversion process has been widely commented on in the Jewish press, in fact, most everything I said above, with the exception of my speculation about Hitchens and Albright, are favorite discussion topics in the Jewish press. As usual, these discussions are confined to the “behind closed doors” safety of the Jewish media. If any Gentile “outsider” (like me) dares to broach the “secret topics that Jews can only discuss with themselves”, most Jews and many Judeophiles will bash them ferociously as anti-Semites, even if the Gentile makes the same comments about the Jews that Jews make about themselves when they think no one is listening. This tribal double standard is unfair and immoral. While Jews tolerate all sorts of discussions in these Jews-only fora (including often-ferocious criticisms of Jews, Jewish jokes, etc.), it’s still pretty taboo for Jewish authors to discuss these “sensitive subjects” with the “outsiders”, i.e. in the non-Jewish media. Brave, noble Jewish prophets who dare step off the Jewish Plantation to discuss the dirty linen with the frightening goys are often ruthlessly gang-bullied and ordered by other members of the Tribe to “Shut up!” amid cries of, “Are you trying to start a pogrom?” The mentality is, “There are certain things we only discuss with our own kind”. So now, as a result of the utterly harmless statements and two airy, idle, innocuous speculations above, I am now a big fat anti-Semitic Naziboy. Well, well. It won’t be the first, but I never expected it from the Left. In Summer 2002, after a few months study, I adopted the Palestinian cause and started strongly opposing Israel. Before, I was the usual wishy-washy “let’s talk peace” fence-sitting US liberal on the subject. I’ve been active for almost three years now, debating Zionists on the Web anonymously. Previously, no sane person ever called me Nazi or anti-Semite. Suddenly, as an enemy of Israel and supporter of the Palestinians, I have been called these things 100,000 times at least, or so it seems. I’ve gotten many threats, including death threats, challenges to fight, threats to beat me up, to fire me from my job, to destroy my business, to uncover dirt on me, to destroy my reputation and career. Since I was anonymous, there were endless attempts to find out my real name, address, phone number, school history, work history, town of residence, life history, you name it. Dossiers or files were made listing my postings. I dealt with my share of stalkers and harassers. I was called every name in the book, insulted with every insult you can think of and baited in every possible way. 80-9 Debater opponents posted lists of my annotated, cross-referenced quotes, trailing back years. They uncovered nym and nym, linking them all, and putting them into Big Fat Files. Creepy. The creepiest of the harassers, stalkers, and threateners were often US Jews associated with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Jewish Defense League (JDL). Others were associated with heavily Jewish “anti-racist”, “anti-fascist”, or “anti-revisionist” liberal-to-Leftist groups. A number of them came from Ken McVay’s anti-revisionist Nizkor website. Note: all of this occurred during my anonymous posting on the web. I now write about these issues under my own name and am now prepared to face the music. And. So. At long last. After 45 years, I finally saw another side to them. But despite all that torrent of abuse from hundreds of Jews and (almost all Zionists), I don’t have many anti-Semitic feelings at the moment, though unfortunately I did go through a “phase” a few years ago. As far as this abusive Zionist Jewish tsunami goes, I usually just shrug it off, figure that’s just the way they are, assume they can’t help it, forgive them, and try not to think about it. But since feelings are not like faucets we can turn on and off, there were nights when I would head off to bed feeling angry with Jews. Using the faucet analogy above, as a Leftist, I would identify that feeling, note that I was feeling some racism (anti-Semitism), try to convince myself it was pathological, and do mind exercises to make it go away. Sleep on it, most times, get up the next day and it’s gone. Sometimes it would linger for a day or two. But if it lingered, I would try to keep convincing myself that I was feeling racist, that this is irrational, and try to work the feeling away with reason. I think all humans are susceptible to racism, sexism, etc., and we Leftists are too. The only difference between the racists and us is that they aren’t bothered by their racism – they relish it and mold pleasing identities with it. On the other hand, we try to banish it when it appears. Before I adopted the Palestinian cause, I never cared anything about Jews; in fact I was a shameless Judeophile. I spent decades hanging out with a couple who were friends of my family before I even found out they were Jewish. When I finally found out, I had known them my whole life (33 years) and the subject of their being Jewish had never come up. There were a number of other family friends whom I would only recognize as Jewish if I really thought about it. Most of the time, the thought never even occurred to me. So, upon taking up the Palestinian cause in my 40’s, a previously fawning Judeophile morphs into a raving Nazi? No. The moral to the story is, take up the Palestinian cause, start opposing Israel, and be prepared to be called “Jew-hater” till your ears turn blue. In the meantime, in closing, I just want to make a few aphoristic points: There is no Jewish Conspiracy to Control the World, or if there is, they’re doing a damned poor job of it, so we needn’t worry. If they ever start taking over for real, then we can think about how to deal with it happens. Instead of this Jewish conspiracy, there just is imperialism. WRT to the general disgusting question of races, tribes, ethnic groups, clans, nations, states, religions, sects, and the repulsive formations that humans create and embrace in order to defy their humanity, drive barriers between their Sapiens siblings, and create hatreds out of mere air, I say: I don’t care anything about any of these tribal, divisive formations. And it’s all a deceit anyway, because the Human Tribe is the only one that counts. My attitude on races, ethnicities, tribes and religions reads like a quiz: Does it have a head? Yes. Does it have less body hair than a monkey? Yes. Does it have two arms with two hands? Yes. Does it have two legs with two feet? Yes. Is it talking (nonsense)? Yes. Answer: It’s a human being. White, Black, Asian, Polynesian, Indian, American Indian, Melanesian, Micronesian, Pygmy, Hottentot, Aborigine – they are all idiots of same quality. To the charge of anti-Semitism, I say: I don’t hate the Jews, I hate everyone. This research takes a lot of time, and I do not get paid anything for it. If you think this website is valuable to you, please consider a a contribution to support more of this valuable research.

For Justice, a River of Blood

Repost from the old site. Basically an argument for the “just war” concept. Or at least a rivulet. Abimael Guzman, imprisoned leader of the Shining Path guerrillas in Peru, famously said that for the revolution to succeed, “Peru would have to cross a river of blood”. Much of the civilized world was horrified by this bloodthirsty statement, but was he onto something? I would argue that the vast majority of social progress achieved in the past 150 rivers has unfortunately occurred only after rivers of blood were shed. Or at the very least trickles. To but it bluntly, people had to die. They had to get hurt and die. It’s sad that it has to be that way, but it seems that that is just the way it is. Powerful people do not give up stuff just because they wake up in a good mood one day or go to church, find God and start feeling guilty. Here in the US, Blacks only gained their liberation in the context of a devastating Civil War in which 100,000’s of Americans shed their blood and lost their lives. Haitians only got rid of slavery by rising up and killing every single one of 25,000 Frenchmen on the island. For Algeria to blast free of colonialism and to shock the French out of the colonial habit, 1 million people, including 25,000 Frenchmen, died. Britain only chucked colonialism after British soldiers died in Malaysia, India, Palestine and other places. Does anyone think even a modicum of a Palestinian state would exist had Palestinians not taken up the gun? Without the armed struggle of the Iraqi guerrillas, US troops would have overrun Syria and possibly Iran by now. The Basque Country has the considerable autonomy it does today only after 800 Spaniards died in the ETA’s armed struggle. Land reform was only instituted in South Korea, Japan and Taiwan after the war to ward off the threat of Communism from North Korea and China. Apartheid is gone in South Africa and one man one vote democracy is in its place for the most part only due to an armed campaign by the ANC stretching over decades. US workers only got rights after bloody strikes in which workers were killed by goon squads. The social market that James Schipper praised in Europe in earlier comments is also the project of massive labor union mobilization in Europe. I would also argue that it was created by devastating the European Right, first by killing 10 million of them (10 million dead fascists in WW2), next by making rightwing ideology toxic for many years after the war, and finally by revolutionary pressure from the Far Left before and after the war, which led the business sector to seek out a class compromise and a social contract, mostly to ward off revolution. Even the Swedish model mostly came into play in the 1930’s when the nation was wracked by violent, radical and revolutionary labor actions all up and down the land. This so rocked the business and ruling classes that the Swedish model was created as a lesser evil alternative to ward off revolution. Most do not realize that Swedish society was not very liberal during the 1930’s. People are misled by the fact of Sweden’s neutrality in the war to think that Swedes themselves were neutral. Most of the middle classes and certainly the business classes were firm Nazi supporters. Furthermore, I understand that Swedish businesses continued to supply the Nazis well into the war. In Costa Rica, radical pressure helped create Costa Rican social democracy, now deteriorating after Reagan ordered the Costa Ricans at gunpoint in the 1980’s to get rid of it. After WW2, Costa Rica outlawed the Communist Party, killed 6,000 Communists, instituted a social democracy to buy off social unrest and got rid of the military as a rather interesting way to top it off. Without revolutionary pressure in 1946 and the bodies of 6,000 Communists, Costa Rican social democracy may never have occurred. Mexico today has some semblance of socialism and a land reform that enables to poor to own small plots and at least survive and eat if they cannot find work only because 20 million Mexicans died during Pancho Villa’s revolution that put Mexican feudalism in the grave forever. Most do not realize that Mexico was actually a horrible and truly feudal society as late as 1910. Yet it was. In the same way, in El Salvador now, one can at least farm a small plot, eat and survive, something often not possible before the Revolution started. For that meager reform, 70,000 people died and Salvadoran feudalism was crushed, possibly forever. Lenin said power never gives up without a fight. And most social reforms in capitalism have come on the heels, tragically, of a river of blood. Or at least a small stream. Without pressure from below by revolutionaries and radicals, it is uncertain how many of the progressive social contracts in place in the world would exist.

"Israel's Key Vulnerability" by Abiezer Coppe

Here is another post by guest poster Abiezer Coppe, Israel’s Key Vulnerability. I agree with several of his points here. First of all, armed resistance to Israel by the Palestinians is clearly futile. What’s the point? They are up against the 4th largest army on Earth with 200 nuclear weapons. These measly rockets are going to beat them how. On the ground, there’s no contest. The Palestinians got creamed in this last invasion of Gaza. I agree that it is absurd for Hamas to declare to a victory when they just got their ass handed to them in the worst way, but this is how Arabs are. An Arab will never admit he lost. Even if he gets creamed worse than Custer at Little Bighorn, it’s still a Great Victory for the Mighty Arabs. I also agree that Israel has violated its own UN Charter that it signed in order to be admitted to the UN, and as such, I think Israel ought to be thrown out of the UN on its butt. This will never happen, but it’s a nice fantasy. I can see Abe Foxman and the US editorial pages squirming and writhing like Linda Blair in the Exorcist right now. Boycotts of Israel are driving the world’s Jews and their media and government Gentile buddies into insane conniption fits, but it’s a great idea. It worked for South Africa. It’s important to note that South African anti-apartheid Blacks who have been to Palestine often say that the Israeli Apartheid regime under which the Palestinians live is worse than Apartheid South Africa. So if it was righteous to boycott South Africa, and I say it was, it is even more righteous to boycott Israel. The Jews usually say an Israeli boycott is outrageously anti-Semitic because we are not boycotting all the other asshole countries on Earth. Instead we are singling out one asshole country, Israel, and letting the other anal pores off the hook. It’s Intra-Asshole Country Discrimination and dammit, it’s just not fair! Equal protection for assholes! I really do not know what to make of this bizarre argument, except to ask if anyone ever used it against the South African campaign. To Israel, I say, yeah we’re singling out as one Asshole Country in a world full of Butt Nations. One Buttland at a time, please. We will get to the others later on. I’ve long been a supporter of Fritz Fanon. The only anti-Semite I have ever met who truly hated Nazism was a Leftist Fritz Fanonist who likened the Palestinian liberation struggle to the Algerian Civil War.

Israel’s Key Vulnerability

Abiezer Coppe

Israel has once more sent out a message to the Islamic and Arab world with its onslaught on Gaza that the struggle for the Middle East will be uncompromisingly bloody and violent. It was the same message in the summer of 2006 with the invasion of the Lebanon, with the Qana massacre of 1996, with the invasion and the 18 year occupation of the Lebanon in 1982 to 2000, and all the way back to 1948. For those who abjure violence in their personal lives, and for those, like me, who have never carried or used a gun, the boycott campaign is an important tool of nonviolent struggle against the Occupation of the West Bank, and the racist polity within the ever shifting borders of Israel, the borderless state in Occupied Palestine. I admire Hamas’ and Hezbollah’s armed resistance against overwhelming force, but it should be by now clear after sixty one years that by itself armed resistance to Zionism will not lead to its overthrow. The most these organisations can do to Israel is harass, with as much impact as a wasp stinging a human being. This in itself is not negligible. The main effect of the missiles launched over Israel’s border is psychological terror, and occasional fatalities, against which the fourth most powerful military machine in the world is powerless. Psychological terror may discourage new Jewish immigrants from arriving in Israel, and that is to the good. However such tactics do not even elicit a pause from Israel’s political leadership, Right and Left, in the ongoing war on the Palestinians, the Zionist project of clearing the land of Arabs, and the continued illegal settlement by Jews of the Palestine’s West Bank. Clearly Hamas and other resistance organizations are quite powerless by themselves to stop Zionism in its tracks. In a defensive struggle the Shi’ite organization Hezbollah did succeed in throwing the IDF out of Lebanon in the year 2000, and successfully frustrated Israel’s attempt to reoccupy the Southern Lebanon in 2006. Israeli expansionism was thus contained. At no point in the last sixty one years have Arab armies succeeded in crossing Israel’s 1967 borders, or even in invading the annexed West Bank. Israel’s wars, including that of 1948, have been fought on the territory of other countries. The Yom Kippur War of 1973, although a partial defeat for the Arabs, did eventually lead to the return of the Sinai to Egypt (under American pressure) during the Carter administration. The regional military balance has been shifting in Israel’s favour for the last sixty years (Mayer 2008). Talk of Hamas’ “victory” in Gaza in 2009 is in my view self-deluding and misplaced. An unopposed massacre of over 1400 civilians is not a victory. I do not want to see the Palestinian resistance reduced to the equivalent of the Native American “ghost dances” of the 1880s, as the last resistance of the aboriginal inhabitants of Palestine is vanquished. I do not think for a moment that this will happen, because the Palestinian Diaspora now numbers more than 7 million, but the weakness of the opposition to the Zionist colonisation of Palestine within Israel is very concerning, and a helping hand from an international citizens’ boycott of Israeli goods and services is its chief, but not its only hope. Arab resistance and Arab demography are other reasons to hope. Armed resistance to military occupation, as enshrined in the UN charter, is legal: Israel itself is of doubtful legality, as outlined below. As the infamous Irgun terrorist Menachem Begin and future Israeli Prime Minister remarked the day after the UN vote on the partition of Palestine in November 1947: “The Partition of Palestine is illegal. It will never be recognized…Jerusalem was and will forever be our capital. Eretz Israel will be restored to the people of Israel. All of it. And forever.” Israel has not accepted a single UN resolution on Palestine from Day One, and its founding act as a state was a massive and violent process of ethnic cleansing, illegal in International Law. The current prime minster of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is a direct descendant of the brand of Zionism represented by Begin. In order to be accepted as a member state in the United Nations, in 1949, Israel was required to endorse General Assembly Resolution 194, which recognizes the right of return of the Palestinian refugees and commits itself to the return of all “the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours” (700,000 in total at the time), to its sovereign territory. Israel accepted, was made a member state and immediately after announced it had no intention of implementing the UN resolution. Israel thus announced its illegitimacy as a member state of the UN. The Security Council, dominated by the imperialist states of the West, and in particular the UK, which helped to implant Israel in the Middle East in the first place, went along for the ride, as did the Soviet Union. Israel’s key vulnerability lies in its being a trading state with a highly skilled workforce but few natural resources. The boycott of Israeli products, coupled with divestment in Israeli companies and a cultural embargo has to be a key way of supporting the Islamic and secular Palestinian resistance (PFLP), as well as a way of applying pressure to the Zionist establishment to moderate its penchant for atrocities, encouraging dissent within Israel and the deepening of existing fissures within Israeli society. If an international boycott can be linked to the issue of Return for the Palestinians and the cancellation of the Jewish Right of Return, an uncontroversial strategic goal in support of the Palestinians can be flagged up for the movement. In January 2009 479 Israeli citizens signed a document called A Call From Israeli Citizens calling for the boycott of Israeli products, divestment from and sanctions against Israel as the only way forward to begin the Civil-ization (in both senses – demilitarisation as well – Occupied Palestine to become a civilian society once again rather than a garrison state) of the Zionist military machine and stop the ongoing war on the Palestinian population. In the 1980s Meron Benvenisti, an Israeli writer and ex-deputy mayor of Jerusalem, ran the West Bank Data Project, which analyzed the interaction of the Israeli and Palestinian economies in the Occupation. The resulting study concluded that the West Bank had effectively been annexed by Israel, not merely occupied (Benvenisti 1995). As pre-1967 Israel was also an annexation by military force, accompanied by some strong arming of Truman and the infant United Nations by Zionist elements in the American Jewish community, the term “Occupied Palestine” correctly refers to the whole of the land between the river Jordan and the sea. Any other designation fudges the evidence, which suggests that the military occupation of the West Bank will remain until the post-1948 colonial regime itself is either brought down or collapses under the weight of its own internal contradictions, to be replaced by a non-colonial political order and the re-establishment of political and economic equality between Arab and Jew. Before 1967 Palestinian civilians of Israel also lived under a military occupation, and were in a similar position politically to those of the West Bank and Gaza now. The Palestinian American writer Rashid Khalidi uses the term helot (a term from the Greek language of Ancient Greece to designate an indeterminate status between that of a slave and that of a citizen) to designate the position of Palestinian civilians who have neither the civil rights nor the political opportunity to influence the behaviour of the state that dominates and controls their lives in endlessly demeaning and demoralising ways. Palestinian terror in the form of suicide bombing, a response of the powerless to the removal of liberty and civil rights and the ongoing illegal confiscation of land for Jewish settlements, first arose in Palestine in 1994, the year in which the grotesquely unjust Oslo Peace Process faltered. In the same year, the Jewish physician and the extremist Kach Party member Baruch Goldstein, who now has a shrine in his honour drawing hundreds of tourists and supporters, murdered 29 Muslims at prayer and wounded a further 150 at the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron. Israeli Jews who view suicide bombing as a peculiarly Palestinian or Islamic pathology should recall the biblical story of Samson, the first recorded suicide attacker, and ask themselves under what extreme conditions of dispossession and oppression, and under what conditions of political despair, would they themselves consider such an act to be an attractive course of action. Those who do not like equality before the law and citizenship for all will leave, just as the Algerian French did together with some of the pieds noirs in 1962, helping to solve the problem of housing some of the Palestinian refugees from Occupied Palestine at a stroke. Frantz Fanon’s two most important books, Black Skin, White Masks, and The Wretched of the Earth, have now been translated into Hebrew as of 2004. I am sure that they have been available in Arabic for a long time, but the political culture of the Hebrews is backward and inward looking, which is to be expected in a colonial state. Were the champion of the Algerian liberation struggle Fanon alive today (he would be 82 years old) he would certainly support the Palestinians. It is our privilege and  duty as free citizens of the international community to do the same by supporting the boycott of Israeli goods. Dorothy Naor, a 77 year old Jewish Israeli with whom I have been in email contact since the invasion of Gaza, is a signatory to the aforementioned boycott document A Call From Israeli Citizens, has been an Israeli resident of Occupied Palestine since 1958, immigrating from the USA. Her activism starts from the premise that the occupation of Palestine, of which she is part as an American Jew, began in 1948, and can be reversed. She is one of a very small minority of historically conscious Israeli Jews. Reversing a colonial occupation, which in this case does not mean throwing the colonists out, is an enormously ambitious project, but it can be done, and the worldwide tide of protest and action is rising.

More On Lebanese Christians

In response to the Lebanon: No Talks With Israel post, Olive observes:

The Lebanese Forces blogs are still pretty pro- Israel. There are ten thousand Lebanese Maronites living in Israel, mostly from the LF.

I’m sure the LF blogs are still pretty pro-Israel. No surprise there. I’m sure UNIFL is still pro-Israel too. The Lebanese Forces are the Maronite Phalangists who supported Israel and formed the SLA (South Lebanon Army) supported by Israel. They were so hated inside Lebanon that most of them decided to take off for Israel when Israel gave them the chance. The rest mostly left for the US where they make up the “Free Lebanon” movement. This UNIFL crowd gives an illusory view about what the Christians left in Lebanon think. The truth is there is much difference between the Christians left in Lebanon and the Lebanese Christians outside of Lebanon. The one outside Lebanon are as I have described. The ones inside Lebanon are much different now. Sure, they hate Hizballah and the Palestinians. But most of them don’t like Israel much anymore either, especially after that latest Israeli invasion. During that invasion, the Lebanese Christians were threatening to take up arms. They said they were going to fight both Hezbollah and the Israeli invaders. Most recently, many Maronites have gone over to Maronite former General Aoun who is now in alliance with Hezbollah. Lebanese politics is Arab politics squared. It’s all about alliances and little about ideology. It is true that in S. Lebanon there are still Christian villages full of former SLA members. Villages full of Hezbollah supporters may be just over the next hill. The former SLA members are quiet now and have essentially reinvented themselves as Lebanese patriots. Why do they get along and not kill each other? Forgive and forget. It’s the Lebanese way. If not for this, they would have all exterminated each other in orgiastic mass slaughters long ago.

Lebanon: No Talks With Israel

Here’s the slug. I’m guessing the Michel Suleiman, judging by his name and appearance, is a Christian. In Lebanon, even a lot of the Christians can’t stand Israel. The role of the overseas Maronites is much exaggerated. One of the Lebanese Maronites, Aoun, is now in a coalition with Hezbollah. The Greek Orthodox have always been militant and are the beef behind the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, which is also allied with Hezbollah. Greek Orthodox suicide bombers allied with this party were some of the most prolific suicide bombers in the Lebanese war in the 1980’s. SSNP is pro-Syrian and very nationalistic. It’s basically a vehicle for Greek Orthodox to have a say in national politics. The Sunni don’t like the Shia too much, but they can’t stand Israel either. Even the Druze can’t stand Israel. Hatred of Israel is less anti-Semitic in Lebanon than in other places in Arabia because it is such a secular nation in Arab terms. The Lebanese are more anti-Zionist than anti-Semitic. I’ve always predicted that Lebanon will be the last Arab country to make peace with Israel. If you read around the Lebanese blogs, read some stuff about Lebanon, talk to some Lebanese, you will realize that the Lebanese probably hate Israel more than any other Arabs. Syria will settle for the Golan and then cut off the Palestinians and make peace like Egypt and Jordan. Iraq, Arabia, North Africa and the rest will sign onto the Saudi peace plan. That leaves Lebanon. You have no idea how much these Lebanese hate Israel. Lebanon has no relations with Israel, and I think that they are still in an official state of war since 1948 in which Lebanon played an important role. There’s so much talk about “Syria and Iran” as Israel’s worst enemies due to the Lobby’s targeting of them. They are singled out because they have a halfway decent army and some decent arms. Syria’s support for radical Palestinians is little more than some office space in downtown Damascus. In all these demonization of Israel’s worst enemies, it’s curious that Lebanon gets left out of the conversation, but that’s probably deliberate. The Lobby doesn’t want it known that most Lebanese hate Israel. Instead they want to split Lebanon in a fake way into “good Lebanese = Christians who love Israel” and “bad Lebanese = Hezbollah, genocidal Iranian pawns.” Like most propaganda, it’s a lie. Also, the Lebanese army has been deliberately defunded by the West who has refused to allow it to obtain decent arms and kept it very weak on purpose so it could not threaten Israel. The Lebanese military is comical. One good thing about Hezbollah is at least they Lebanon to have a real army to defend themselves.

2005 Nobel Prize in Economics Winners

Two nasty Nobel Prize winners. The two men, Thomas C. Schelling and Robert J. Aumann, won for Game Theory, but unfortunately, they applied much of their Game Theory to wars, especially the most immoral wars, cold and hot, of the US and Israel. Mr. Schelling was long involved in trying to win a nuclear war against the USSR, then with the collapse of the USSR, advocated for the overthrow of other nations the US wants to regime change, often through nonviolent revolutions. His theory was most recently used in the “color revolutions of Lebanon, Georgia and Ukraine. Mr. Aumann is most unpleasant. A Super-Jew and Super-Zionist, he opposed the withdrawal from Gaza and has long advocated the annexation of Gaza into Israel, although I assume that the Palestinians will not receive any state benefits, nor will they be able to vote. His game theory was used in the recent blockade of Gaza intended to force the Gazans to overthrow Hamas. Nice people, these Nobel Prize winners!

About Those Tunnels

The tunnels in Gaza are supposedly being pounded by the IDF because they are used for smuggling weapons. However, most of the tunnels are just being used to smuggle food, medicine, household appliances, cooking gas, etc. The tunnels are run by underground business concerns in Rafah, and are quite lucrative. Each of the armed groups has their own smuggling tunnels for smuggling weaponry and whatnot. I find it hard to understand why tunnels that smuggle goods for the civilian population of Gaza must be bombed. The whole idea here, as from the very start of the blockade after Hamas won the election, is about punishing the civilian population for voting for Hamas. As soon as Hamas won, demands were placed on it by the Group of Four, apparently the US, Israel, the UK and the EU (So much for the anti-Semitic Europeans!). These demands were quite unreasonable. Among them were the recognition of Israel and the renunciation of violence. It should be pointed out that no one is demanding that Israel recognize Palestine or renounce violence. Anyway, an occupied people have the right to armed resistance. Since Hamas refused to obey, a cruel embargo was slapped on them, intended specifically to punish the people of Gaza for electing Hamas. This embargo resulted in over 5 The power plant was bombed – the plant which ran the sewage treatment plant – so raw sewage has been pouring out into the ocean and is now seeping into the aquifer, threatening to contaminate the water supply. The rocket attacks pretty much started when Israel refused to lift the embargo. After Israel pulled out of Gaza, it retained control over Gaza’s borders, including the borders at Egypt and the sea. Israel even retained control over Gaza’s population registry list. As a starting point at working towards a cease-fire, Israel could have offered to lift the blockade in return for a halt in rocket attacks. In Operation Cast Lead, it looks like Israel bombed that American school in Gaza, the crown jewel of Gaza’s education system, on purpose. Once again, the reason here is just to punish the civilian population for electing and supporting Hamas. There were no rockets being fired from anywhere near that school. The superb Norman Finkelstein has an excellent roundup (long) of the issues surrounding Operation Cast Lead 2008-2009 and the Lebanon War 2006, the real reasons for both of which were to “restore Israeli deterrence capacity vis a vis the Arabs” and to head off a potential peace settlement on terms that Israel considers to be unfavorable. The piece also deals with many issues surrounding the events leading up to Operation Cast Lead. Dem Arabs gittin a bit uppity, have to put dem in dey place.

Why Egypt Cooperated With Israel on the Gaza Operation

This question has probably mystified many people. The Ikwaan. And, in the Egyptian context, specifically. Hassan al-Banna. What does this have to do with Hamas? It is not well-known, because the MB is unpopular, along with fundamentalist Islam (yes, it is true, forget the Zionist lies), in Palestine, but Hamas is nothing other than the Muslim Brotherhood-Palestine (see 2nd paragraph). Also see here, under Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. MB-Palestine is nothing other than a wing of MB-Egypt. The MB connection makes Hamas’ very close alliance with Syria all the more perverse and odd. Lots of hard feelings, shall we say, between MB-Egypt and many successive regimes. MB-Egypt has a necessary and sufficient relationship with Al Qaeda itself. Al Qaeda’s leading philosopher (deceased) was a member. One of the philosopher’s most ardent followers is this man, still alive and broadcasting regular videos, including one in which he proudly claims the 9-11 attacks and castigates those who blame the US and Israel as underestimating the great capabilities of the Sunnis. This man is not well-liked by the Egyptian state. This war with the Egyptian state has been pretty much resolved. Egypt mass-arrested most of the members, took them out to the desert, tied them to stakes with no food or water, and requested that they talk. Those who did not give in to interrogators experienced the wrath of the desert met with a man armed with neither food nor water. Death in a day or two. 1000 or so were killed in this charming way. We see how the Arab conducts counterinsurgency. Can you imagine the outcry if Israel deigned to emulate the hated Arabs? Saudi Arabia is one half of the Al Qaeda equation, in terms of its birth anyway. MB-Egypt, etc, etc, is the other half. Failure to understand this essential aspect of the Al Qaeda birth process and continuing influence results in a failure to understand AQ. Why should Americans understand Al Qaeda? 9-11 is an emergency phone call number.

The Left's Nonsense on Palestine

Lafayette Sennacherib points out in the comments section that the British Left says that the whole problem in Palestine is “capitalism and imperialism, not Jews.” This can be seen eloquently on the PFLP’s website where they carry recent statements by the KOE in Greece, the ILPS (International League of People’s Struggles) and the CMKP in Pakistan. All of these are pretty hard-Left organizations. The KOE is a Maoist party in Greece, the CMKP is a more or less unapologetic Stalinist type party in Pakistan and the ILPS is now chaired by Jose Maria Sison, head of the CPP, Communist Party of the Philippines, whose armed wing, the NPA (National People’s Army) wages a Maoist rebellion in the Philippines. So we have two Maoist parties and a Stalinist party. If you read all of those statements, you will note that they all take the line that Israel is a pawn of US imperialism. It’s US imperialism’s “attack dog” in the region. I’ve already discussed in previous posts why Israel is of little to no benefit to imperialism at all, and in fact, it’s a great big gigantic fat liability. It’s true, some sort of dysfunctional imperialist-Zionist hegemony has come to define the relationship, but it’s not like we get much out of it, other than maybe letting Israel use our latest weapons. We now colonize Iraq as a result in part of this twisted co-dependency, but it’s hard to imagine a US imperialism not entangled up with Zionism would be idiotically colonizing an Arab country. Sure, we get to buy influence in the region, but the costs to imperialism of this project would seem to massively outweigh whatever crumbs of benefits we get out of it. Surely there must be a cheaper way, in both blood and treasure, to purchase influence in the Arab World. I’m not going to say the problem is Jews either, other than Jews being typical primitive humans who have not yet joined the modern world and are continuing to engage in ancient tribal  behaviors. But it’s downright absurd to say that the problem in Palestine in capitalism and imperialism. The only reason that the Left says this is because nowadays they are terrified to discuss race or ethnicity. And the lunacy of Marxism says that race or ethnicity has nothing whatsoever to do with anything. Why are Jews and Palestinians fighting? Capitalism done made em do it. Why is there racism? Capitalism done turned us into a bunch of knuckle-dragging bigots. Yet any sensible view of human relations shows that tribal warfare and conflict and the racism that inevitably springs from must be as old as man. What does capitalism and imperialism have to do with a Jewish settler-colonial project and the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian aborigines? About as much as capitalism and imperialism had to do with the settler-colonial projects in North America, Australia, Hawaii or elsewhere. Conquer the natives, steal their land, kill them if they resist, put them on reservations, throw them out of the country. This stuff is as old as man. Tribes have always been conquering other tribes, throwing them off the land and stealing their land. For 1000’s of years. Before there was any capitalism or imperialism. It’s age-old tribal behavior. The Geneva Conventions after WW2 which outlawed annexing land, ethnically cleansing conquered peoples or settling conquered lands, were supposed to put an end to this age-old bullshit once and for all. So Zionism really is an anachronism. Neither is it the only settler-colonial project going on the world. There are others – Chinese settler-colonists in Tibet and Xinjiang in China; Indonesian Malay settler-colonists in Papua New Guinea and Aceh in Indonesia; various settler-colonial projects in South Kurdistan carried out by the Kurds themselves and displacing Shia and Christian Kurds, Christian Arabs, Shia, Sunni  and Christian Arabs and Sunni and Shia Turkmen; various settler-colonial projects carried out in Kosova by the Albanians in which Serbs and Gypsies were replaced by Albanians; the whole mess of the Balkan Wars in the 1990’s where Croats and Serbs carried out various settler-colonial projects against Croats, Serbs and Bosniaks; a settler-colonial project in Darfur and Southern Sudan in which Arab Muslims replace African Muslims and Christians; another one being carried out by Morocco in Southern Sahara in which Sahrawis are replaced by Moroccan settlers; and settler-colonial projects in Syria and Iran involving removal of Iranians, Assyrians and Kurds and their replacement with Sunni Arab settler-colonists. It’s hard to say whether there is a settler-colonial project going on Mindanao. There was one a while back involving Christian settler-colonists in Muslim Mindanao, but I don’t think it’s ongoing. There are also settler-colonial projects going on in Brazilian Amazon, Mexico (Chiapas) and Colombia where Indians are thrown off their land with violence, which is then stolen by rich people for plantations. A good argument is that nowadays only fascist regimes engage in settler-colonialism and ethnic cleansing. Any regime doing that nowadays has some serious fascist tendencies. That some are nominally Communist, as in China, makes it all the more shameful. So you can see there is nothing aberrant about the Zionist project. Similar projects are going on all over the globe. But setter-colonialism and ethnic cleansing define one as a primitive. If you engage in primitive behavior, you’re a primitive. Everyone doing this sort of crap needs to knock it off and join the civilized world.

The Ways of the Arab

In the comments section, Mort Goldman agrees with me that the behavior of Arabs in Iraq in the war there does not bode well for cooperation of Arabs and Jews in Palestine in a single state. Mort notes the cruelty with which the Iraqis have treated each other in this war. I will point out that my Arab friends tell me that they are horrified by the behavior of the Iraqis in this war, but that they are not surprised. “The Iraqis have always been complete animals,” they tell me. It’s true that recent history in Iraq has often been unspeakably brutal. The tendency of Arabs towards extreme cruelty and abandonment of all rules of war seems to be only true during wartime. Many Arab states have seen decades of peace since independence, and in addition to that seem to ahve a very low crime rate. Where I live here in the hood, the local Palestinians and Yemenis are vastly more civilized than many of the local anchor baby Hispanics or Blacks, many of whom are gangbangers or just uncivilized in other ways. The ways of the Arab can be cruel in terms of strict rules and harsh punishment for crimes, but it probably makes for a society that is quite civilized at least in terms of having little of the crime, dope, squalor and chaos that we call progress here in the cities of our West. It’s not really a free society, but in it’s own way, it works and creates a sort of a civilized society. In warfare in recent times, Arabs have been horribly cruel. The Yemeni civil war, the Iraq-Iran War and the Iraqi civil war with the Kurds saw poison gas used. The Algerian Civil War was unspeakably cruel on the part of the rebels. I pointed out in the comments section that the modern rules of war only arose with the Geneva Conventions post World War 2. Although most nations of the world have signed on, only the West seems to even try to follow them at all. The rest of the world seems to laugh at them. One must admit that following the rules of war does constrain a military intent on victory. I do agree with Mort about Palestinians and Jews probably not being able to get along with each other in a single state at least for the time being. Too much shit like this recent offensive in Gaza has created tons of bad blood that will wear off in many years, if at all. One problem is that both Arabs and Jews seem to be intent on dominating the other. Even the secular Arabs in the PFLP insist that the single state must be “Arab with a Jewish minority.” That’s probably a recipe for Arab domination. To expect Arabs to act like Americans or Italians is silly. They are what they are, a people bred in the cruel and harsh desert with a culture to match. I will say though that the Palestinians inside Israel seem to tolerate Jews pretty well considering how shitty they are treated. They are a few attacks here and there, but mostly the two sides more or less get along and coexist with each other. On the other hand, they are a minority. As soon as Muslim Palestinians got to be a majority in a new state, I do not think Jews would be treated very well. Muslims in general have an extremely poor record of treating minorities decently. Honestly, we probably treat minorities better here in the West than anywhere else in the world. That’s one of the things that makes the Cultural Left’s hatred of the West and embrace of Third Worldism so perverse and silly. Muslims do treat minorities OK in Lebanon, at least for now, but you only have to look back a couple decades to where both sides were massacring each other. The situation in Lebanon may be due to the very high numbers of non-Muslim Christians, who have a lot of political power and still more or less run the place despite all their whining. They also have lots of guns and a reputation for being badass fighters with a long reputation of fighting like animals against any attempts at Muslim domination. I refer here to the Maronites. The secular Alawites of Syria treat non-Muslims very well, but unfortunately they are not typical Muslims. Non-Muslims are treated well in Morocco and Tunisia, but that is only due to secular dictatorships forced on the people. As soon as those electorates get a chance to vote, I am sure they will vote in radical Islamists and then any toleration will be a memory.

Israeli Invasion Update

The IDF claims that it is in control of Beit Layiha and and Beit Hanoun, and it has cut Gaza in half. A column of APC’s and tanks now goes from the eastern border of Gaza to the Mediterranean Sea. The IDF have taken positions on top of many roofs in the area. Right now, it is encircling Gaza City, just what I expected them to do. Pretty damn good for a mere eight hours or so into a ground invasion. Israel is dropping leaflets all over Gaza telling people to turn in the Hamas guys around them and then everything will be cool. So Gazans are going to spy for Israel. Well, obviously, some of them already are, but I don’t think this is going to be a popular thing to do. Hamas claims that they have already seized two wounded Israeli soldiers, but I doubt it. Israel will not confirm that. Hamas is going to make all kinds of blustery comments in the next few days, and most of them can be safely ignored. Israel really fucked up and hit a mosque full of 200 people praying inside, killing 11 civilians. The IDF claims that the mosque was used to store weapons, but it was full of people when they bombed it. Major fuckup. There are 2,777 Palestinian casualties in Gaza so far, for a population of 1.5 million. That is about one out of every 500 people. I now live in a city of 50,000. That would mean 100 casualties in my city. Surely you would know one of the wounded or killed. There would also be 16 killed in my city. Just to give you an idea of what it looks like on the ground. Israel has blown up the oil supply for Gaza, which was the only thing running the generators for the hospital. There are people waiting in line outside the hospital to be treated. However, it looks like Hamas has a tunnel network all over Gaza, and they can probably hide pretty well. 437 Gazans have been killed so far, and at least 109 of those were civilians. The death toll on the Israeli side is 4! This is the sort of thing that Israel and its supporters just don’t get. When there’s 100-1 deaths on their side versus your side, it just looks like a massacre. While Israel engages in a war with 100-1 casualties in its favor, its Jewish casualties continuously scream at the top of their lungs that the other side, which is frankly being massacred, is about to wipe all 5 million Jews in Israel off the face of the Earth. Then when they get done, they are going to kill the other 13 million Jews on the planet. This is why no one listens to Israel and its supporters anymore. It’s like the bully on the playground pummeling the designated and professional victims, all the while claiming that the Supervictims are serial killers ready to wipe the bully and his bully-buddies off the face of the Earth. This is not just the voice of the Israeli bully – this is the voice of all bullies everywhere, in all places and at all times. Think about it. The professional victim picked on by the bully is always someone who seems weak, submissive and is completely harmless (doesn’t quite work in Hamas’ case, but consider the 100-1 odds). The bully always claims he is defending himself! Gangs of bullies are always defending themselves! This is how aggression works, folks. Think about it! Real hard! I am serious, this Israeli-Palestinian War will tell you a lot about human nature. The bully always claims that the Supervictim started it. The Supervictim got out of control, and the bully had to put him in his place. The bully bullies the Supervictim day in and day out and when the Supervictim finally rises up to fight back, that is when the shit really, really, really hits the fan. Slave rebellions will not be tolerated! The price for fighting back against bullies is dear, precious and bloody indeed. You may think I am going on and on here, but please think about what I am writing. This is human nature. Humans are just animals and underneath it all, too many times, is just dominance and submission. The BD/SM folks justify their so-called perversions by saying that they are merely mimicking life and its ugly and inescapable reality. Indeed it is true, is it not? In any male-female relationship, one party wears the pants, right? If the man won’t put them, damned if the woman won’t slip into the jeans herself. Over and out. Just some thoughts for the day.

Debka Downed By Arab Cyberattack

Debka appears to be down right now. This happens often during major offensives when the site gets flooded with hits. However, in this case, Debka has apparently gone down under a concerted cyberattack by Arab hackers. Some Jerusalem Post pages are also not loading. Debka sent out a message to its subscribers saying that both the English and Hebrew sites had been under heavy cyberattack since 7 PM local time. As its 11 hours later now, it looks like this is a serious attack. I don’t dig it when either side does this shit. I want my news, dammit. If Debka ever comes back up, maybe we can write something about this ground invasion. The hackers also took down the Israeli news site Ynetnews.com in addition to discountbank.com and redirecting them to a webpage with an anti-Israel message. They did this by hacking into a domain name registration server.

Juan Cole On Gaza

By the way, Israel has just invaded Gaza several hours ago and are now occupying a small part of Northern Gaza. More on that later in the post. Juan Cole makes a number of interesting points about the Gaza operation and its coverage. Cole notes that American International School in Gaza sustained a direct hit from Israeli artillery. I assume that it was intentional. This school is working to promote good relations between the US and Palestinians. Hmmm. Cole questions, quoting Jonathan Freedman, one again, what the whole invasion was all about. If Israel could not crush Hamas when they controlled Gaza, how do they hope to do so now when they are only going to make a temporary incursion into a few parts of it? Most interesting of all was Cole’s account of watching CNN, or as a friend of mine calls it, ZNN (Zionist News Network). CNN was interviewing Saeb Erekat, the PLO spokesperson. Cole noted that this was the first time he had seen a Palestinian spokesman on TV all week – it was all  Israelis, all the time. They had just started an interview with Erekat when ZNN suddenly switched to Ben Weideman (sure, he’s Jewish) in Jerusalem detailing the “task Israel has before it now.” They never did get back to Erekat. Later, ZNN did an interview with Mustafa Bargouti, who complained that ZNN’s coverage of the war was completely one-sided. He has such a thick accent that it is hard to understand him. Cole pointed out how Israeli commenters always seem to be quite understandable. Cole wonders whether the media can’t find a Palestinian who speaks good enough English so he’s understandable to an American audience. Interesting the subtle and not so subtle ways that pro-Israeli bias works in the US media. What’s funny is that a lot of pro-Israeli Jews like to scream about how the US media is so lopsided in favor of the Palestinians. Yeah right! I do agree with them about the European media though. Just looking at the British media the other day, or at least the Independent and the Guardian, they are not pro-Israel at all. I would say that they are anti-Israel. From the Palestinian side, some really biased and pro-Pallie fire-breathing coverage is available from the PFLP English site. You can get some great coverage of the war there too, albeit from a wildly pro-Pallie perspective. According to the PFLP, the IDF has sustained casualties in the early hours of the offensive. They report that an IDF tank has been hit by a roadside bomb and that the IDF moved into Gaza in three different places. They are also claiming the use of cluster bombs and say that the IDF hit gas storage depots which is causing big fires. Hamas says that they have killed a group of Israeli forces in Eastern Gaza. This was reported on the Arab Al-Arabiya news channel. There is no confirmation of this yet. The Jerusalem Post agrees that there have been An-Nasser Salah al-din Brigades, affiliated with the Popular Resistance Committees, the National Resistance Brigades – the armed wing of the DFLP (Democratic Front for the Liberation of  Palestine), the Al-Mujahedin Brigades, an armed faction of Fatah, the Eagles of Palestine, a previously unknown group, in addition to the Izzadeen al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, are all participating in the fighting, so it’s not all just “Hamas”. It’s useful to note that the PFLP reports that they too are shooting rockets at Israeli towns, so when you hear about rockets being fired at Israel, it’s not all “Hamas”. According to Debka (about as wildly pro-IDF as the PFLP site is wildly pro-Pallie), the Palestinians plan to evacuate much of Gaza and collect inside Gaza City. No way is the IDF going to occupy Gaza City. Then they will move out of Gaza City at night to carry out attacks on the IDF. That instead of holding out and fighting to the last man in every part of Gaza. That’s probably a pretty smart way to fight the war. The rocket barrages have hit into areas of Israel that to my knowledge have not been hit before. They hit Netivot and Ofaqim in the Negev, and incredibly hit all the way to Beersheba. To the north, they hit Askelon and Lakhish to the east of Kiryat Gat. They hit Ashdod and Gan Yavne to the east of Ashdod. The furthest target of all to be hit was Gedera. In general, these rockets caused little damage or casualties. That is because they are inherently inaccurate. However, recently, rockets have made direct hits on buildings in Ashdod and other towns. In Ashdod, a six-floor building received a direct hit.

The "Theory of Intelligence"

Intelligence like spies, not intelligence like IQ. The fascinating blog Entitled To An Opinion reproduces an excellent document from an Israel intelligence scholar who has written several books on the theory of intelligence. In particular, he delves into the organization of guerrilla groups their cells. I love this stuff! The document makes some interesting points, considering the author is an Israeli. First of all, he points out that Hamas was operating completely outside of the hands of Arafat and the PLO and was in fact trying to crush Arafat’s attempts at negotiation. Hamas’ terrorism was not Arafat’s terrorism! Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Via Debka and the other idiot Israeli outlets, we always heard about how this guy called “Arafat” was behind all of the sui-bombers self-detonating all over Israel. Even surrounded by Israeli forces in a bombed-out headquarters with all contact with the outside world cut off, Arafat Mastermind was still coordinating every single attack against Israel. How did he do it? Telepathy, of course! Arafat was a master of ESP. After a few years, Israel poisoned him via his Palestinian chef (check out Ghada Karmi , no conspiracy buff, on this), and then he died. The rest of the PLO, including the Abbas faction, was apparently in on the operation, at least after the fact, in that an autopsy was prevented, and his body was quickly entombed for all time. I realize this is a conspiracy theory, but after months of investigation, I am convinced it is true. If only more knew about this. And Arafat did NOT die of AIDS (Zionist rumor-lie). Anyway, back to the point. The article is wrong in some places. It claimed that Sheik Yassin and then Rantissi were giving the orders for every single sui-bomb. I find this dubious. Hamas is split between military and political wings. The military wing seems to be relatively autonomous in terms of selecting targets and whatnot. Yassin and Rantissi were part of the political wing. There is lots of breathing space between the two wings for counterintelligence purposes – political wing members arrested cannot give much info on military wing members since they know little to nothing. I also think it should be pointed out that it should be obvious by now that Hamas is riddled with Israeli informers. There is no other way that Israel had such great intelligence on where to drop those bombs. Israeli intelligence on Hezbollah,on the other hand, is pretty abysmal though not a complete failure. Hezbollah has somehow managed to keep Israeli informers out of its system for a good 10 years now. How do they do it? Who knows? We get back to the “theory of intelligence” which this guy has written several books on. It’s a nasty world out there, and not so easily mastered, even by the best spy agencies or guerrilla formations on Earth. How to keep spies out of the insurgency? You tell me! One more thing becomes clear in this document – the policy of targeted assassinations so decried by the pro-Palestinian side clearly works from a military POV. Further, civilian casualties are probably kept to a minimum. The article deals with at what point does any system start to collapse. They are using guerrilla organizations as a system, but really we can plug any variable in there. It turns out that 2

More on Gaza

In the Finally, A Post On Gaza post, Lafayette Sennacherib points out that Hamas has limited ability to control the rocket shooters. This is not completely correct. Truth is that Hamas are hardliners. They really don’t want to arrest anyone for the “crime” of shooting at Israelis. Ideologically, that’s not a crime to them. That’s just resistance. So the last thing they want to do is arrest people for that. Fatah did a lot better job of this, even arresting the PFLP guys who killed the Israeli minister “Gandhi” (Gandhi – LOL!)* and keeping them in prison for years. Hamas would never do that. This is an important distinction to make. James Schipper says that an independent Gaza ought to be recognized and aided by the US. I do not think that an independent Gaza would quit shooting rockets. Further, they would arm themselves to the teeth and there would be no way to stop this. No way is Israel or the US going to put up with that. How are you going to keep arms shipments out of Gaza? You can’t. No go, no fly. Further, I suspect that the Gazans are so nuts that they would keep on shooting rockets at Israel no matter how much aid we flooded them with or how prosperous they become. James says that we propose to recognize and aid Gaza on the condition that they knock off the rockets, but they would probably say yes, and then as soon as we recognize them and start the aid flowing, they would start shooting the stupid rockets again. At which point, what? We get furious and cut off aid. Gazans get all pissed again, but they’re chronically angry anyway. We’re back to square one, and they’re shooting rockets again. James notes that the Arab birthrate is one reason why Gaza is so crowded. But that is not a good enough reason. Are the West Bank or Arab parts of Israel this crowded? Of course not. Go to the Palestineremembered site and see how Gaza got flooded with refugees from most of southwest Israel. Very enlightening. * By the way, I supported that very controversial PFLP operation. This blog does support the PFLP and the DFLP. I’m convinced that the secular Leftists in the PFLP and DFLP could actually coexist with Jews. The Hamas types – I doubt it.

Finally, A Post On Gaza

Surely, you have been waiting with bated breath for my golden words on the Gaza Crisis? But of course. Let us begin with a history lesson. What is Gaza anyway, and why is it so crowded with people? Why is Gaza cram-packed with “Pallieniggers” as one Jewish Zionist put it? Is it because Palestinians like to live in Hellish conditions like a bunch of rats? There’s a reason why the place is so overcrowded. Because 8 Robert Fisk says that is what is ironic about rockets landing on Ashdod. By the way, the ethnic cleansing of the areas around Gaza did not end in 1948. They continued through 1949 (indeed, this is when most of the Southern expulsions occurred) and actually, they continued all through the 1950’s. Yep, all through the 1950’s, Palestinians living around Gaza in various ways were being forced out of Israel and into Gaza. Hence we end up with Gaza, which should hold 300,000 people, now holds 1.5 million. Check out The Jews of Iraq by Naeim Giladi, an Iraqi Jew, a great read! This book could not find a single US publisher and hence had to be self-published, amidst endless threats. Gee, who did that? Jews in Israel are KKK-Jews. They are the KKK Whites transmuted into a Jew-shaped form. If you oppose racism, if you think the KKK sucks, you really ought to look into opposing Zionism as it is currently constructed. Anti-Semites think that opposing KKK-Jews by being racists of their own variety is some kind of a moral position. Excuse me? Opposing racism with racism? In what multiverse does that add up? I’m not trying to say that the idiots in Gaza are angels. They are not, and I thought that this rocket campaign was moronic. But Israel, the US and the UK blockaded Gaza from the get-go for no good reason at all, resulting in chronic food and medicine shortages. In no world does making malnourished kids and depriving hospital patients of meds make sense. Yeah it’s a war crime. Just like shooting rockets at civilians for no reason. I don’t see the point. Clearly shipments of food and medicine could be policed to keep the arms out. By the way, it’s thoroughly criminal the way that Egypt is keeping food and medicine out of Gaza, and depriving Gazan civilians of the right to flee the opportunity of getting a bomb on the head. Egypt is in deep with the Israelis on this, and it’s all because they hate Hamas, and the Muslim Brotherhood by extension. Yes, Hamas is just the MB-Palestine. They don’t publicize this, because Pallies don’t like the MB, but it’s true. Just so you understand the motives of the actors. Does Israel have a right to defend themselves? Sure they do. Is this offensive all about Israeli elections, in which a Centrist Olmert-Livni Group is about to lose to the Far Right, represented by Netanyahu? Sure it is. Israeli elections always mandate lots of shooting and bombs. If you don’t carry out enough attacks, you’re a pussy and you lose the election to the Rightwing guy. Sabras are a macho bunch, dontcha know? No quivering Ghetto Jews marching passively to the chambers are they, no sir. Everyone is a product of their environment, Kropotkin observed. That’s one of my favorite rock songs, “I’m a Product of My Environment.” Listen and try to understand. We all are, Israelis, Gazans, all of us. Otherwise, I do not see the point of this crazy offensive. What is Israel’s endgame here? I just don’t get it. And as someone who does not dislike Jews, I see this whole mess as bad for the Jews. It just creates oodles of anti-Semitism and makes people want to kill Jews. Zionists respond by saying that Jews are either passive pussies allowing themselves to be mass murdered or killers slaughtering hundreds of humans a week. If you’re a Jew, you’re either a killer or a corpse. I don’t believe that, and there’s got to be a better way. Zionists call that position “The Suicide Left.” Fine, color me Left and suicidal please, but it’s not true anyway. By the way, it really looks like most of those “Hamas militia members” killed were just cops, not part of the Hamas armed forces at all. There’s the Hamas army, and then there’s the cops, you know, the guys who solve crimes and direct traffic. That’s who got massacred at the graduating ceremony – traffic cops. That’s why they showed their faces at the ceremony – they figured no sane person would drop a bomb on a traffic cop’s head. That’s why the police stations were full that day. Hamas is not stupid. There’s traffic cops and there’s the Hamas Army. Not the same thing. The Hamas Army numbers about 15,000, and the traffic cops are not part of it. They have not been too hard-hit by this, and now they are hitting Beersheba. I don’t have much more to say about this except the Arabs and Muslims are getting more and more pissed, and no way is this shit good for the Jews. As a Judeophile, this concerns me. Check out Johann Hari. Never realized he made so much sense. You are invited to toss your opinions into the ring.
