Alt Left: PFLP Funeral from 1976

Translation: From the funeral of the martyr Abd al-Wahhab Eid al-Tayeb, a leader in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and a member of its central committee, who was assassinated with his militant wife Khalidiya Ali Khalid in Beirut, December 25, 1976. The commando Laila Khaled appears in the video, shooting in the air.

Abd al-Wahhab Eid al-Tayeb is on the left, and his crazy badass Arab commando wife Khalidiya Ali Khalid is on the left.

Great PFLP video from 1976 in Lebanon. The great revolutionary Leila Khaled appears partway through the video shooting her gun in the air. Look at how long everyone’s hair is. A lot of the male cadre literally look like hippies! This was during the 1970’s when most men wore their hair long and facial hair was also quite popular. I used to have a moustache myself. Notice that none of the women wear a hijab either.

Also notice the presence of armed female cadre. Many women took up arms back in those days. Back then, the Palestinian movement was revolutionary, leftist, and almost counterculture. During this period, it was common for radical hippie chicks to have photos of Leila Khaled in their bedrooms with a kaffiyeh and an automatic weapon! She was this badass hippie revolutionary bitch! These Arab women seem so sweet, demure, and ultra-feminine, but these bitches are nuts. They will kill you! Arab women are badass. I kinda like that, actually.

In fact, the Islamists were sitting out the fight at this time and they were assassinating revolutionaries for being atheist Communists. They were Quietists who sat around arguing about how long your beard should be. Revolution was for Commie atheist apostates. You can also see in this video how socially conservative Palestinian society has become. Even women at PFLP rallies often cover their heads, albeit with the most stylish of hijabs.

Alt Left: Why We Fight (PFLP version)

The great “Conversation between the Sword and the Neck interview with Ghassan Kanafani, the great Palestinian revolutionary of the PFLP. He was one of the founders of the organization. He was a revolutionary who never held a gun. His weapon was the pen. He was also a great poet and novelist. He was assassinated by the Zionist Entity on this day in Beirut, Jerusalem in 1972. This is a very famous interview that was done with him by some sellout Western journalist. It is so perfect.

Anyone on the Left and anyone in particular who believes in the Black freedom struggle of the Panthers, etc. against racism, etc. should support the Palestinian movement. This is a movement for liberation by a colonized people and Black and Hispanic people really should support all such movements, since in they were all colonized people at one point or another.

Everyone on the Left who wonders about the validity of this struggle, an essential struggle for basic civil rights, should pay close attention to this video. It will answer all of your basic questions about the conflict right there. Also if you have some liberal worries about the Palestinians being backwards and reactionary and the Israelis being progressive and modern, remember what Stalin said about the necessity of forming alliances with just about everyone against imperialism.

Stalin formed alliances with many backwards and socially reactionary people such as Muslims in his war against imperialism. “If they are against imperialism, then we need to ally with them,” was his mindset. Also, keep in mind that peasants and working class people all over the world are often deeply backwards and socially reactionary or even barbaric. This does not mean, as the anarchists claim, that they are fascists!

The workers must be supported in all cases. Their backwards views are unfortunate but they are for them to own and do with what they will. If the progressive forces capture a country, social revolutions can unfold in which the working people are gently brought into a more modern and less barbarous mindset. This worked very well in many places such as the USSR, China, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, and Venezuela. It was always a pretty easy sell to gently bring people along to the ideas that women and other oppressed peoples were in need of their basic rights.

This business of “We must support Israel because Palestinians are backwards and don’t give women basic rights” is liberal bourgeois imperialism – the “imperialism of human rights.” It is essential to the worldview of liberal Democrat “humanitarian bombers” like Joe Biden and Samantha Power. It’s just another imperialist trick! Don’t fall for it!

Alt Left: An Overview of the Recent Israel-Gaza War

I have contacts very close to the whole Resistance Bloc  and I can tell you flat out that a lot of the material published by corporate media is just false. I know people close to Hezbollah, Iran, the Houthis, the Iraqi militias, and the Iranian and Iraqi governments. They’re journalists with great access.

During this war, rockets were shot from Lebanon. The corporate media began insisting that the rockets had been fired by Hezbollah. First of all, Hezbollah did not shoot any rockets out of Lebanon. They wanted to stay out of this fight. Also, Hamas themselves did not want Hezbollah to join in.

Instead, Hamas asked permission from Hezbollah to launch rockets, mortars, etc. from Lebanon. Hamas has many activists in Southern Lebanon, probably associated with the refugee camps. The request was  granted. Five rockets were launched. They were all Grad missiles! As they were Grads, they probably came from Syria. A couple of rockets were fired from Syria days ago. I don’t know who did it, but it wasn’t the government.

The point here is very important. Assad gave those missiles to Hamas in Lebanon to shoot at Lebanon. And he probably gave whoever shot those missiles from Syria at Israel permission. This is very important. What this means is that Assad was getting his revenge for years of attacks against his army in Syria. This war was also used by Iran to get revenge on Israel, often via Syria, for all of the attacks Israel has made against Iran recently. Iran and Syria used this Hamas war to get their revenge on Israel.

In an important sense, every one of those 4,400 rockets came from Syria, and to an even greater extent, Iran. You would think this would be a great line for the corporate media to play on, but they completely missed it as did the US and Israeli governments. This war was really Iran (and to a lesser extent) Syria versus Israel. Of course the Palestinian role was essential  also and they were a major source of the combatants, but to overlook the vengeance Iran and Syria got out of this war is a huge mistake.

A drone was at first thought to be launched from Jordan and shot down over Israel. Later examination showed it had been launched from Iraq by the Shia militias parts of the Iraqi Army.

Vast crowds massed at the Jordanian border trying to cross into Israel. Police held them back but the Jordanian police were completely in favor of the demonstrators. It’s false to say that Jordan is pro-Israel. Sure, the government is but that’s because it’s a dictatorship. If they had elections there, a vehemently anti-Israel government would be voted in very fast. 65% of the citizens are Palestinian refugees from the war in 1967. The rest are conservative Bedouins who are basically Islamists. They don’t like Israel much either.

Three infiltrators got in. These are just local Palestinian Jordanians try to sneak in to Israel. They all say they want to go to Jerusalem. I know that one Palestinian in Jordan somehow made it to Gaza and was very happy that he had returned to Palestine. He was killed in the war, but he had gained his wish and he died happy.

Also, Hamas reported that one of their suicide submarines bombed a gas platform off the coast. A platform off of Haifa caught fire. Israel said the cause was an accidental explosion, but we still don’t know yet if it was hit by one of these suicide subs. Israeli Shin Bet intelligence somehow knew nothing about this submarine, so their intel is not as good as you think.

Mossad does not work in Gaza, as Israel considers Gaza part of Israel and Shin Bet is the intelligence force for Israel proper. Mossad only works overseas in Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Qatar, Iraq, and UAE.

A missile that hit a building in Beersheba killed 2 civilians and wounded 15 more. The building was a small factory that employed overseas workers.  That must have been a big missile that hit that building, considering the damage it did.

In the course of a single day, there were eight IDF troops wounded, two seriously, in the Gaza Belt or Gaza Envelope. In Kissifum, an IDF helicopter crashed. possibly hit by a rocket. At Nahal Oz, several soldiers were wounded, probably by a mortar barrage. The helicopter that crashed was coming to evacuate the wounded soldiers. These mortar barrages were being launched by a number of groups, not just Hamas.

The DFLP and PFLP, two explicitly Marxist or leftwing groups, were launching quite a few rockets and mortars, mostly shorter range. Hamas and Islamic Jihad seem to have the long range missiles and rockets. Surprisingly, the DFLP and especially the PFLP are very popular in Gaza, which is interesting as they are both basically Communists.

The Salah al Din Brigades are (Popular Resistance Committees) Fatah rejectionists. Fatah, the armed wing of the PLO, gave up armed struggle and surrendered to Israel. However, many members of Fatah rejected this surrender and split off to form their own groups. The Al Aqsa Martyr’s Brigades, especially large in the West Bank, was the largest of these. AAMB is explicitly secular.

The Popular Resistance Committees were groups of Fatah rejectionists in Gaza. The Salah al Din Brigades is their armed faction. They tend to be more Islamist than Fatah proper. They have quite a bit of weaponry and fired a lot of rockets and mortars in this war, mostly short-range. SADB is the third largest group in Gaza after Hamas (13,000 members) and Islamic Jihad (7,000 members).

A new group called Palestinian Mujahedin or PM is ideologically close to Islamic Jihad Hamas. They also shot some missiles. This is one of the smaller groups in Gaza.

The PFLP-GC is a secular group founded by Ahmad Jibril that is secular. They are very close to Syria almost to the point of being Syrian-controlled. They have a fair amount of support in Gaza but they do not have a large force or arsenal.

The “resistance” in Gaza actually consists of 17 different groups. One is a Hamas cutout, then there are DFLP, PFLP, PFLP-GC, SADB, AAMB, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and PM. I was only able to find names for nine of them. Most of the rest seem to be Fatah rejectionists, secular.

They all work together, Communist atheists right alongside Hamas and Islamic Jihad Islamists.

This whole war was cynically started by Netanyahu in order to stay out of jail, and it worked. He’d been stoking the flames for these wars since he came into office in 2009. Really most of the Israeli public is aligned with either Netanyahu’s Likud Party or similar parties like the one Bennett is a member of that are just as bad if not worse. The Israeli Left, including the Labor Party, has basically collapsed.

The uprising among Israeli Arabs in Israel proper was an utter catastrophe for Israel. Netanyahu said it was a worse problem than the rockets from Gaza.

The whole Arab population of Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza was in open revolt along with large sections of Arabs in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. There was also a huge outcry in Pakistan.

This was due to a accumulation mostly of 11 years of Likudism and worse. This is where it led. There were huge riots in Jerusalem. Entire Arab cities all across Israel shut down one day for a general strike. Gangs of Arabs rioted all across Israel and in the north, they were even gathered along major highways where they threw rocks. It was dangerous to go anywhere in Israel during this war. In the first week of the war, 1,000 arrests of Israeli Arabs were made, 500 for attempted murder. So 500 Israeli Arabs, basically an army, all tried to kill Jews in the last week. Disastrous!

Of course Hamas decided to attack. Neither they nor any of the rest of the Resistance takes orders from Iran. The corporate media is wrong about that. They go to Iran if they want to do attacks, and Iran gives them a list of attacks that they might do that Iran would be ok with. Then they can do them. For really crazy attacks, they have to get ok’d by Iran first, and they get shot down a lot. If they do decide to do an attack, Iran may help plan and carry it out.

Iran helped plan that Houthi attack on Aramco. Also there are Iranian and Hezbollah advisors in the Houthis. The Houthis are just the former Yemeni Army, and they have huge factories, mostly underground, where they are churning out all these drones and missiles. They use Iranian prototypes and then modify them from there. Iran and Hezbollah, especially Hez, help them make the drones and missiles.

The “Iraqi militias” are just the Iraqi Army! They are not attacking the US directly usually. Instead, member of those militias take leave and go off on their own and form little resistance groups and moonlight as guerrillas while being soldiers the rest of the time. The militias have plausible deniability, as they are not doing or planning the attacks. However, anyone in Iraq who tried to crack down on those resistance groups would be stopped. You can’t. They’re too popular and wield too much power. No one can go against them.

Also, these grouplets contain moonlighting Iraqi Army from outside the militias people and Federal Police members. Munitions are probably Iraqi Army stuff.

Hezbollah was in contact with Islamic Jihad and Hamas in Lebanon every hour since this started. Later, we heard that Hezbollah used drones to help the Gaza resistance avoid Israeli attacks. I have also heard that much of the tunnel infrastructure is intact. Most of it is 90 feet underground and as such, it is going to be very hard to for conventional bombs to get at those tunnels. They will either require a ground invasion or the use of mini-nukes to take them out.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad make their own stuff now in underground factories. Some is Iranian smuggled in. It is very easy for Iranian weaponry to get into Gaza. Only a week after a war, Iran was already busy resupplying the Palestinians with money and weapons.

Once again as with Ansar Allah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad use Iranian prototypes and then make local knockoffs. Iran and Hezbollah help them a lot in these underground factories to make these munitions, and they helped, especially Hezbollah, helped build the tunnels.

The decision to launch this attack was Hamas’ alone. But once it started Iran and Hez gave them moral support.

The Palestinians have their own agenda so they did not launch this war for Syria and Iran, but in a way this is a multiple front war. Israel was attacked from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Gaza and the West Bank was in open rebellion with a number of towns in the West Bank becoming “liberated zones” by Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, normally quiescent but now resurrected and the main force in the West Bank. They’re secular.

During the war, there were many attacks every day in the West Bank: 5-10 shooting,, 1-2 attempted or completed ramming or stabbing, ~20 firebomb, and 80 fireworks! Some Israeli soldiers are even fled the front briefly. They felt under siege. A checkpoint was abandoned by fleeing troops and briefly taken over by AAMB.

Also all of these rockets and missiles that everyone has all come from Iran in one way or another. Even the weapons that the Commie groups have. The AA weapons, antitank guns and automatic weapons are all Iranian. Some is smuggled in. The smuggling route goes from:

Iran -> Sudan -> Egypt -> Sinai -> tunnels -> Gaza.

Alt Left: Sunni Hatred and Paranoia of the Shia and Iran: One of the Stupidest Forms of Bigotry On Earth

Almost all Sunni morons, even Pakistanis, believe that Iran wants to control the Middle East. The extreme versions say Iran wants to conquer all of the Sunni Arabs and rule over them. Almost all Sunni Arabs actually believe this crap. This thinking is especially prominent in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the Gulf (except possibly Qatar), Lebanon, to some extent in Jordan, and Egypt and Sudan to a somewhat weak extent.

Further west in Africa, the Sunnis do not give two shits about Iran. Nor do the rest of the African Sunnis. Nor do they Turks although they hate and persecute their own Shia. Nor do the Muslims of the Caucasus, Russia, and the Stans. In Afghanistan it is particularly stupid because Afghanistan is largely Iranic culturally and even linguistically, particularly in the West. Some of the bigger warlords such as Ismail Khan over there in the west in Herat were actually openly pro-Iran.

Shias are persecuted pretty brutally in Pakistan. Sunni Salafists regularly attack their rallies with suicide bombers, killing many people. The jihadi group LET, which fights in Kashmir, is viciously anti-Shia.

No one quite knows where this comes from but it seems that anyplace where there are lots of Shia, they Shia are hated by the Sunnis.

They are persecuted by Sunni majorities in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, but not in Yemen or Syria, although there are vicious anti-Shia groups there. Sunni minorities in Lebanon and Iran and particularly in Iraq are very anti-Shia. However, the Iranian Sunnis are not treated right at all, although they have 28,000 mosques in Iran. W

hen you get over to North Africa, there are just not any Shia to hate. What’s a Shia? That’s what the North African says.

Palestinians were typically anti-Shia and especially anti-Iran historically because Arab nationalist idiots hate Iran for no good reason, as I elaborated above. Hamas caused a lot of controversy in Palestine for being so close to Iran since they were Sunnis, but they are not stupid. Recently they supported the Sunni Syrian opposition, which enraged the Syrian government. At the same time, Palestinians in Syria formed pro-government militias and fought on the side of the government, though a few went over to the jihadi opposition.

ISIS took over a large Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus for a time and the Palestinians were smeared as ISIS supporters because of this. But most Palestinians in that camp disliked ISIS. The camp is called Yarmouk, and is one of the worst hellholes in Syria. I think there may be delays in rebuilding because of government suspicion that residents sided with ISIS. So Hamas was aligned with Hezbollah, Syria, Iran, the Houthis, the Iraqi Shia, and Iran, and then like complete tools they let their bigotry get the best of them and supported the Sunni jihadis in Syria. However, Syria and Hamas have patched up their relationship.

This is especially odd considering how poorly the Shia have been treated. Before the rise of Hezbollah, the Sunnis in Lebanon would not let the Shia work at any job more respectable than a trash collector. They were like Dalits in India. Imagine that you were in the Jim Crow South and the Whites were all possessed by paranoid fantasies that the Blacks were going to declare war on the Whites, conquer them and rule over the Whites, treating them as inferiors. Crazy, right? This is how Sunnis feel about Iran. They’re all nutcases. It’s also projection, see?

But the Palestinians have become very pro-Iran these days since only Iran has stepped up to the plate to support the Palestinians and only the Shia are supporting the Palestinians at all. The Sunni Arabs would much rather kill the Shia than fight Israel, though the latter obviously is more important and the former has no importance at all.

The only significant help the Palestinians are getting is from the Shia Houthis in Yemen, the Shia Hezbollah in Lebanon, Syria, a Shia-led regime in a majority Sunni country, Shia Iran, and pro-Iranian militias in Iraq that are now formally part of the Iraqi Army itself.

They have gotten help from Jordanians who massed at the border and tried to break through, but those were probably mostly Palestinian refugees, as they make up 70% of the population but frankly lack representation in the government, which is a monarchy. Mobs tried to rush the Lebanese border too, but those were probably mostly Shia. Quite a few of them may also have been Palestinian refugees because there are a number of large refugee camps in Southern Lebanon.

It is true that large majorities in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Kuwait, and Qatar support the Palestinians, and there is also a lot of support for them in Turkey and Pakistan. These supporters are mostly Sunnis. But the average person does not rule in the Arab World and dictatorships are the rule. It is these dictatorships that have been selling out and making peace with Israel lately, the most outrageous of which has been the UAE, which has apparently gone full Zionist. They’re simply traitors.

However, the Saudis and Emiratis have brainwashed their populations, which used to strongly support the Palestinians but who know repeat the programmed lie that “the Palestinians are not our problem.

A while back, mobs stormed the Israeli border with Syria in the Golan and quite a few of them were killed. These were probably mostly Sunni Syrians though there may have been a lot of Palestinian refugees among them, as there are quite a few in Syria.

There was some anti-Shia sentiment when Islamic Jihad was formed because this Sunni group took inspiration from the Iranian revolution.

There was a rumor that the original Sunni leader converted to Shiism and this caused something of a scandal. The Sunnis are all absolutely terrified that Iran is going to conquer and dominate them and in the process force them to convert to Shiism. The truth is almost zero Sunnis ever convert to Shiism.

Shiism is simply not a proselytizing religion, whereas Sunnism is. One of the main complaints of the Houthis was that Saudi Arabia was sponsoring Wahhabi preachers to come into the north of Yemen and convert the Shia to Sunni Wahhabism. This roused up quite a bit of anger amid the Shia and it was a major reason for the Houthi Revolution. Once again you can see that Sunnis are projecting with their terror of the Shia forcibly converting them to Shiism.

Hamas has aligned very closely with Iran, but so have the Salah-al-Din Brigades, the Al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigades rejectionists who took up arms in various formations, and the PFLP. I have heard that there is a portrait of Soleimani in every home in Gaza.

Alt Left: If Iran Is Broke, How Can They Afford to Support All of These Resistance Groups

Rambo: How is Iran supposed to be giving all of this military and economic aid to different countries if they’re supposedly so broke because of sanctions against them? The media never asks that question. I’ve always wondered that. Supposedly they’re supposed to have been crippled by sanctions, so where is all this spare cash coming from? Something’s fishy.

They have the money. It doesn’t take a whole lot. Who are they supporting? Hezbollah. The Palestinians. The Houthis. That’s all very much affordable for them. All of those groups have their own income streams, banks, businesses, you name it, they’ve got it. The Houthis have all the weapons left over from the Yemeni Army because Ansar Allah is nothing but the former Yemeni Army.

Hezbollah has extensive underground arms factories and they make most of their own weapons. Hamas also has large factories that manufacture weapons and Islamic Jihad and the Salah-al-Din Brigades also have their own factories. The Houthis are now running large factories where they are making their own rockets, missiles, and drones. Hezbollah factories also manufacture these things. Hamas factories also make drones, mortars, rockets, missiles, and even submarines!

All of these factories – Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthi in Yemen, are underground, often deep underground. They’re pretty much untouchable short of a ground operation.

Anyway, in Iran, military spending comes first. I don’t know that they are spending much money in Syria or Iraq. There’s not much to spend on over there. They’re helping Assad, but they aren’t really in Iraq at all despite what you hear.

This military assistance to the Resistance takes precedence over everything. Also they’re not broke. They’ve been exporting lots of oil and oil products and nobody seems to be stopping them. It’s not like Venezuela where they can hardly import anything. Whatever sanctions there are on Iran are not nearly as bad as the ones on Venezuela.

There’s nothing fishy. Iran is a large country that has a big economy and quite a bit of money on hand like all big countries. They are already flooding Gaza with cash and weapons to replenish what was lost and rebuild what was destroyed.

On the other hand, the spending abroad is starting to get a bit controversial and the Iranian opposition has taken advantage of that. But the opposition rioters are only ~15% of the population. Yet that boils down to 8 million Iranians, so you can see that they cause a lot of ruckus. 78% of Iranians support the mullocracy. Soleimani had 86% support. Two thirds of Iranians support helping the Palestinians. Helping the Houthis is less popular with only 57% support.

Alt Left: PFLP Military Parade in Gaza

Very, very well-done. I support the PFLP 100%. They are secular Leftists along with the DFLP, who I also support. Both groups were founded by Christians, George Habash in the case of the PFLP and Nayef Hawatmeh in the case of the DFLP. Of the two groups, the PFLP is quite a bit larger. They have a large presence in the West Bank, but I was very much surprised at the size of their army and following in Gaza.

People think all these Palestinians are crazy Muslims keep in mind that many of the people in this organization are atheists or at least not very religious. They’ve always had a lot of support among Christian Palestinians. Curiously these secular Leftists fight right alongside Islamist Hamas and Islamic Jihad. In the latest war, the PFLP fired many mortars, missiles, rockets, and anti-tank projectiles at Israeli towns and the IDF army. The DFLP, the Al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigades and several other Fatah rejectionists such as the Salah-al-Din brigades and the Popular Resistance Committee, along with the Mujahedin, a jihadist group along the lines of Hamas and Islamic Jihad all fired many missiles and mortars in the latest battle.

The pro-Syrian PFLP-GC founded by Ahmad Jibril also fired a few rockets. Some shady Salafist groups also fired a few missiles. The Al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigades have a huge presence in the West Bank, where Hamas has little presence. All of the automatic weapons that AAMB carries in the West Bank are homemade! Yep they have factories that actually make automatic weapons there. Of course in Gaza, Hamas has factories that make drones, missiles, rockets, mortars, and even believe it or not submarines. I don’t know where the anti-tank missiles come from, nor do I know how those missile launcher trucks come from either. If I can say one thing about Arabs, it’s that they are endlessly adaptive! Sort of like Black people.

Towards the end, half of their attacks were against the army. I’m not wild about shooting at towns, but all of these groups do that. I don’t really care if they shoot at towns as long as they don’t kill or seriously hurt anyone. If they’re not seriously hurt or if property, buildings, or houses get destroyed, I could care less. The Israelis deserve it. As you can see, some of the women are not wearing headscarfs. This is Gaza! Hamas has not implemented Islamic Law in Gaza, which is one of the beefs that the Salafists have with them. Hamas and Islamic Jihad are not Salafists and Hamas has a poor relationship with the Salafists.

I have no idea how all of that military equipment gets into Gaza. Presumably it is smuggled in via the many tunnels that connect Gaza to the Sinai. The imports go from Iran to Sudan and from there to Egypt and across the Sinai to Gaza. It’s pretty amazing all of the weaponry they have come up with considering they are under a total blockade by Israel. Almost all of the weaponry these days comes from Iran as the Sunnis are giving up on the Palestinians. They’d rather kill the Shia then fight the Zionists.

You ask me if I dislike Jews? Sure, the ones squatting in Palestine! What about the Jews in the Diaspora? Are they squatting in Palestine? No? Well, ok then, they’re not part of the problem, are they? I don’t like Israel-firster Jews in the US, but most Zionists are actually Christians. I understand how Jewish people are quite conflicted on the Israel question. I get it. They want to support their people, but Israel makes them queasy as it should.

This video is extremely well-done and I am shocked at the support the PFLP has in Gaza of all places. It just goes to show how secular Palestinian society is. Palestinians have always been among the most secular of the Arabs going way back. In a recent surveys, 27% of Palestinians described themselves as “not religious.” That’s about right.

Just goes to show you that all Palestinians aren’t lunatic Muslims trying to kill all the infidels.

Speaking of which, the PFLP is a bit unusual as they do not demand the Jews leave Palestine, which is what most of these other groups demand. The PFLP has always said that the Jews can stay in a single state. I remember George Habash said that if he were to come back to his old house after liberation, he would build another floor on the top of the house so the Jews who were living in his old house in Jaffa could continue to live in the house. I think the DFLP is wiling to let the Jews stay also.

Those Jews aren’t going anywhere. They’re not going to go back to Europe or New York or wherever. Not happening. They’re not going to leave. Demanding that all the Jews taking off shows how unreasonable a lot of the Palestinian factions are. This is the position of Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas and Islamic Jihad. However, Iran has also said that the Jews can stay in a single state, and Hezbollah said they would accept a two-state solution, even though it’s not their preference.

Speaking of which, the two state solution is now dead and buried. Israel never intended to go along with it from the moment it was proposed. Prominent Israelis have come forward to say that now. The settlements are so cemented into the West Bank that there is no moving them. It’s one state or the status quo, and the status quo is not acceptable.

Alt Left: Massive Pro-Palestinian March in Baghdad

Pretty amazing. I wonder if this is mostly Shia? The Sunni Arabs seem to be so absent from pro-Palestinian activism. I guess most of them are too busy hating Iran and hating and killing Shia to care much about their abused Arab brothers. And Sudan, UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia are just traitors, plain and simple.

Alt Left: This Is Zionism: A Video from Hebron

Earlier I wrote about the amazing situation in Hebron where 500 Jews live in scattered enclaves in a city of 80,000 Arabs and pretty much have the run of the place. As you can see in this video, a block where 40 Arab families live is regularly shut by a wall that does not allow them to leave their residences! That street you see the reporter on? A Jews-only street! No Palestinians allowed. See that bus stop? Jews-only bus stop! No Palestinians allowed. Although I did think it interesting that the two Israeli soldiers did not appear to understand English at all, especially the young woman. I thought all Israelis understood English!

The situation in Hebron is outrageous but this is the situation all over the West Bank and to a much, much lesser extent even inside Israel, especially in East Jerusalem where things are very bad.

Alt Left: Jewish-Arab Civil War in Israel

The Israeli Arabs have never risen up like this before or at least not in a very long time.

A battle on Thursday in Sheik Jarrah. Three Jews, no doubt pogromists and members of lynch mobs, fire pistols at Arab mobs who are attacking them with fireworks and rocks. Pretty impressive! The residents of Sheik Jarrah have been mostly fighting peacefully but it looks like they’re not doing so anymore.

This civil war inside Israel is almost unprecedented and it’s frankly a total catastrophe for Israel. There was a rumor the other day that Netanyahu wanted to put off attacking Gaza to focus on the internal civil war which he looked at with sheer alarm.

Palestinian protesters hurl stones during clashes with Israeli forces in the Shuafat Palestinian neighborhood, neighboring the Israeli settlement of Ramat Shlomo, in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem on May 14, 2021.

Arabs are rushing the borders of Israel in Lebanon and Jordan. One of those rushing the border was shot and killed by Israel. It turned out that he was a member of Hezbollah. They are also setting fires all along the border. Mobs have been rushing the border near Metula. I think that is one of the three Lebanese villages that Israel stole in 1948. In addition, three rockets were fired by Palestinians towards Israel from Lebanon.

In Jordan, huge mobs have been besieging and rushing the border with Israel. Some of them have apparently made it through.

Three rockets were fired from Syria at the Golan Heights.

So Israel is being attacked by mob swarms or rockets on three of its four borders. In addition, there is an all-out civil war inside Israel. The West Bank is very restive and Nablus have been declared a liberated city. Earlier, rioters claimed that Lod (formerly Lydda) was a liberated city. Things have calmed down a lot in Lod, but there is still unrest.

Below, the Dosa Synagogue in Lod in flames Wednesday night.

Below, Lod on Wednesday as Jewish vigilantes descended on the city from settler communities in the West Bank. They worked hand in hand with the police in fighting Arab rioters.

Alt Left: The Sheik Jarrah Evictions: Background to the Current Crisis

This is a visualization of what was happening in Sheik Jarrah that set off this whole mess. From the Jewish side, it is true that this was a Jewish neighborhood before 1948. It was home to Yemeni Jews. It was conquered by Jordan and the Jews were either killed or fled. They also destroyed up to 33 synagogues in this area.

And the Arabs took over the homes of the Jews who fled. In Israel, any Arab living on what was formerly Jewish land can be taken to court by Jews and have their land taken away from them. So there is a court case saying that this is formerly Jewish land that Arabs are now living in, so Jews are trying to take it back over. The problem is that the law is unfair. All over Israel there are Jewish families live in the homes and neighborhoods that were formerly owned by Arabs.  Can these Arabs go to Israeli courts and get an order throwing out the Jews so the Arabs can take back over their own land? Well, of course not!

In many places, they don’t even bother with such niceties. They certainly don’t in the West Bank and they didn’t in Gaza.

Gangs of armed Jewish thugs have been besieging these Arabs in their homes, trying to throw them out on the street. Sometimes they take over the homes and gunpoint and throw the Arabs out on the street. In other cases, they have taken over half of the homes. In one home, Jews have taken over half of an Arab home. There is constant abuse of all sorts directed at the Arabs. Israeli police and soldiers often accompany the settlers when they go to take over houses.

Note that these settlers were not the original owners. The courts just declare that it’s Jewish land now and any Jew gets to take it over. I saw an interview with one of these earnest young Jews and he said they were going to take over the whole neighborhood as part of a project to take over all of Jerusalem.

You see, Israel conquered East Jerusalem in 1967, and in the process ethnically cleansed a lot of the Palestinians. And by the way, the ones who left don’t get to come back. Since that time, they have been slowly eating away at Arab lands there bit by bit, building by building. Part of the problem is that it is almost impossible to get a building permit in Israel if you are an Arab, even to say add on a room to a house.

So Arabs build illegally. Then the Jews say you built and illegal home or room and come in and tear it down or just take it over. Even a few years ago, East Jerusalem was a nightmare. There were IDF roadblocks everywhere such that it took forever just to go across town. And there were Jewish settlements with police and army guarding them scattered all through the enclave like Swiss Cheese. I saw a video a while back of Arab fathers who were protesting to IDF troops. The men were all crying. They were all saying that they were going to blow themselves up as suicide bombers if Israel didn’t stop stealing their land.

The thing is that this same process is exactly what has been happening in fast motion in 1948-49 and then mostly in slow motion ever since, with a spurt in 1967. This is how Israel takes over Arab land all over Israel and the West Bank. This is the modus operandi. The earnest young man above said that his project was simply part of the Zionist game plan and I had to admit that he was correct. This also goes on in the West Bank all the time. Settlers run amok, harassing, beating and even shooting Arabs and nothing happens to them.

500 Jewish settlers have basically taken over Hebron, a city of 80,000 people. They are scattered in settlements all through the city. They walk around openly carrying weapons and are accompanied by soldiers and police everywhere they go. They abuse the local Palestinians constantly. Also the settlers in the West Bank are constantly stealing more and more land. They set fire to olive groves all the time and put up new “illegal” settlements everywhere, almost almost all of them get to stay.

The West Bank is a nightmare of checkpoints for Arabs and it takes forever to get anywhere. People being raced to the hospital die all the time in these three hour lines at these checkpoints. There are Jews-only towns, cities, roads, you name it. Yep there is a dual road network in the West Bank, one for Jews where you can drive 55 mph everywhere and a nightmare road system for Arabs with checkpoints everywhere. It’s 100% apartheid, in fact, the whole state of Israel is an apartheid state the same as South Africa was. Incidentally, Israel was very closely allied with South Africa during apartheid. Coincidence? I think not.

When you sit back and think about how disgusting the Israeli enterprise really is, it’s a wonder how any decent person can support it. Yet most Americans give strong support to Israel. One wonders if Americans, a country based on racist settler-colonialism, fight a meeting of minds with Israel, another state based on racist settler-colonialism.

The Jews have been pretty good and painting a pretty face on this pig called Israel. The mask really seems to be coming off now and we are seeing this awful country in all of its horror. And a lot of Americans, especially liberal Democrats, are not happy about what they see. It’s getting harder and harder to make the case of Israel as this wonderful country, the only democracy in the Middle East, and all of that crap.

And for the first time, I am seeing a fair number of liberal to Left American Jews saying “No more!” that they’ve had it with Israel and they aren’t supporting this crap anymore. Some are arguing that it goes against Jewish values. I don’t know if that’s true or not but Reform Jews can bake a Jewish religious cake out of anything they wish, so they’re free to make that case and good for them. I’d support any Judaism that has values like that.

Alt Left: (((Nice People)))

These have got to be literally some of the (((worst people on Earth))).

Alt Left: Gentile-Owned Newspapers Are Just as Pro-Israel as Jewish-Owned Papers

Polar Bear: Seth Rogan only recently discovered the dark side of Israel and stated he was only taught it was positive.

Of course we were only taught positive things about Israel. Guess who runs the (((media)))? Guess who runs (((Hollywood)))? That’s where we get most of our information. However, the media is not run by a bunch of Jews anymore.

It’s turning into just another corporate enterprise. Most big papers are getting bought up by huge faceless corporations. The head of the company is often a Gentile.

I did an experiment and studied the coverage of the Middle East in US papers that used to be Jewish-owned and were then bought out by a Gentile. To my amazement, the coverage didn’t change one bit under Gentile ownership. So this media business goes far beyond just a bunch of Jews. For whatever reason, the entire White Gentile ruling class is along for the ride and they’re just as pro-Israel as any Jew.

The Jews can’t do this alone. They’re only 2% of the population. They have to get a lot of Gentiles to go along with them. And US White Gentiles have always been fanatical supporters of Jews and Israel. We dealt with this in a previous posts. America is simply a fanatically Judeophilic country. That’s almost as bad as being an anti-Semitic country. No people are so special that they need to be kissed on the feet by everyone else.

As far as why Gentile owned US papers are just as pro-Israel as Jewish-owned ones, I open the  forum to commenters to discuss this. We can’t talk about US support for Israel without supporting the wild Judeophilia of the ordinary US population. 56% of the US population sides with Israel over the Palestinians.

It’s the lowest level in ten years but it’s still not moving much. 21% support the Palestinians, another figure that is not moving much. 69% of Americans have a positive opinion of Israel, an appalling figure when you consider that it’s one of the worst countries on Earth. Only 21% feel good about the Palestinian Authority, which makes sense as that government has always been awful. But 70% for Israel? Are you high? Americans seem to be willing to put up with endless Wars for the Jews in the Middle East.

Support for Israel tends to be mostly White Christians.

Alt Left: Did the Arabs Ever Threaten to Drive the Jews into the Sea?

All of their enemies are trying to exterminate every last Israeli Jew. The PLO was accused of this for decades.

Admittedly there was some overheated rhetoric. The Arabs said, “We will drive the Jews into the sea.” I think it mostly just meant pull guns on them and force them to go back to Europe where they all came from. The Arabs have definitely said this many times. I’ve heard them said it right in front of me, so it’s something they still do.

The man who said it was a member of the civilian apparatus of the PFLP. I was associated with some of these people for a while and got to know them pretty well. They eventually banned me as a “Zionist spy,” which figures. They’re very radical and paranoid. I was shocked at how extreme they were. They were overtly anti-Semitic too. Their beef didn’t just extend to Israelis. They also hated the Jewish religion.

In recent years, they have been milder.

Arafat, at an inopportune moment, said that the Arabs would simply move into Israel and live with the Jews, but they would commit guerrilla terrorism against them to slowly terrorize them and drive them out.

Sheik Yassin of Hamas said much the same thing, but he had an evil little smile as he said, “We will slowly kill them.”

Iran supports Arabs moving into Israel and Jews and Arabs living together.

I’m not sure what Hezbollah wants. They don’t want a 2-state solution but they said they would live with it and not say anything. The 2-solution is of course dead forever now due to Israel and getting more and more doomed all the time. The US has been secretly greenlighting all of this and Biden will continue to greenlight all the settlement building Israel wants. They will probably just let Israel take over the West Bank too.

Moderate elements of Hamas said similar things a while back.

I’m not sure what Islamic Jihad wants. I

The guys I knew at the base of the PFLP said they were going to throw the Jews out of Israel and “they can go back to Europe or Hymietown or whatever. We don’t care where they go.” However, the leadership of the PFLP such as Leila Faled has said that the PFLP officially says that all the Jews can stay. Faled is the famous counterculture airplane hijacker/hero of many US radicals in the 1960’s (many hippie women had photos of Leila Faled with an automatic weapon on their walls). She was the original badass chick.

ISIS says they are going to conquer Israel and kill all the Jews, but mostly they’ve just been working alongside of them. ISIS fighters have crossed the borders of Israel many times at the Golan Heights where they are treated for their injuries and returned.

Interviews with Palestinians on the street found few who wanted to throw the Jews out of Israel. Mostly they said that they wanted to move into Israel and live together with Jews. However, many Palestinians  prefaced that by saying, “The Jews will be our guests.” As you can see, the Palestinians want the upper hand in Israel and it will no longer be a Jewish state in any way, shape, or form.

Alt Left: The Young Turks’ Nation-building Process Killed Almost As Many People As the Holocaust

Rambo: What about the Armenians? Since you didn’t mention them, and the Armenians always insist they be mentioned or you’re insensitive to Turkish genocide against them in 1915 and thereabouts, could it be said that the Ottoman Turk empire is in denial regarding its’ treatment of Armenians or not? Your thoughts would be most instructive.

Yes, the Turks are absolutely in denial of the genocide of the Armenians (2.5 million people!) along with the genocide of the Assyrians (1.75 million people!) and the genocide of the Greeks (725,000 people!). All of these occurred in roughly the same time-frame and coincided with the Young Turks’ nation-buidling project after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. In part, the massacres also coincided with World War 1.

If you notice, it’s no coincidence that all three were Christians. In the process of nation-building, the Turks simply slaughtered the vast majority of the Christians in Anatolia. This was done under the rubric of them being 5th columnists and traitors and working with the enemy during wartime (World War 1), but there was never really any truth to that.

Even Ataturk condemned the massacres in 1924, saying they were crimes against humanity. As you can see, the Turks massacred 5 million Anatolian Christians, mostly in the space of 10 years, 1915-1925, with most of the killings happening at the beginning of the period. The Turks like to call this mutual ethnic conflict, with both sides massacring each other, but there’s no truth to that. The Anatolian Armenians and Assyrians hardly killed a single Turk, and the Greeks killed a mere 15,000 Turks, all in response to 700,000 of their own getting killed.

As a result of these massacres, Armenians, Assyrians, and Greeks are quite scarce in Turkey now, whereas they used to have large populations – the Armenians and Assyrians mostly in the East, with the Assyrians bordering Syria, Iraq, and Iran where they lived alongside Kurds and the Armenians bordering the Russian Empire and the Caucasus. The Greeks were mostly living in the Far West in Izmir.

The Greek massacres are disgustingly referred to as “population exchanges,” as most Turks left Greece, and most Greeks left Turkey.

The slaughters of Hindus and Muslims in British India at the beginning of independence and the nakba of the Palestinians in 1947-48 are also disgustingly referred to as “population exchanges.” Very nice, liberal Jewish people will look you right in the eye and talk about “the population exchanges” during this time, but there was a difference. The Arabs didn’t want to leave their lands and wish to go back, and the Jews of the Arab World were more than happy to take off and don’t want to go back. So it’s not the same thing at all.

Every time you hear some Indian, Turkish, or Jewish jerk talking calmly about “population exchanges” as if they were some sort nice human swap meet keep in mind that that phrase is always hiding behind massive ethnic cleansings and massacres, even worse, typically genocides.

Alt Left: Arab Sunnis Hate the Shia Vastly More than They Hate Israelis

3,000 rioters employed by the CIA as part of an anti-Iran group overthrew the Lebanese government over this Israeli Beirut nuke attack false flag. Those were Hariri’s Sunnis. They are deep in with Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have been working very closely with Israel for a very long time now. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are close allies of Israel from way back. They both hate the Shia and Iran. The Gulf Arabs hate the Shia far more than they hate those Jews squatting on Arab land. Shows you where their priorities are.

This is true for most Arab Sunnis in the Middle East outside of Africa. The Sunnis of Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Bahrain, and Kuwait have sold out the Palestinians a long time ago. The popular masses in these places all hate the Shia far more than the Jews, and most of the governments are presently allied with Israel.

ISIS is considered to be an Israeli ally. Syrian Al Qaeda had Israeli advisors embedded with them. The Syrian Sunnis are split; however, many of them hate the Shia far more than they hate Jews.

The Jordanians are split too, as many are Palestinians. But the Jordanian Bedouins don’t care about the Jews and hate the Shia far more.

The Yemeni Sunnis hate the Shia so much that they are genociding their own people because some of them have allied with Iran. That’s how much they hate the Shia.

The Saudis treat their Shia minority like subhumans.

The Bahrainis treat their Shia majority the same.

he Kuwaitis hate Iran.

The Egyptian government completely hates Iran and has sold out the Palestinians completely.

The Sudanese don’t care anything about the Palestinians anymore. They hate Iran far worse.

The Libyans, Tunisians, Algerians, and Moroccans are very pro-Palestinian, though their governments have all sold out to Israel. None of those people care about Iran. There is a distance factor. The further away you get from Iran, the less Arabs care about it. Iran-hatred is unique to Arab Muslims. There are historical reasons for Middle Eastern Arab hatred of Iran and these same historical reasons mean that the North African Arabs don’t care much about Iran.

Most other Sunnis don’t care about the Shia very much except in Pakistan, where they really hate the Shia for unknown reasons.

The Turks also completely hate the Shia, and their own Shia are treated like garbage. This goes back to Ottoman Sunni chauvinism. Part of the problem is that the Turkish Shia are Alevis, related to the Alawis of Syria, and they practice a very New Age form of Shia Islam that is nearly secular.

The Alevis and Alawis are often despised as heretics, converts, apostates and non-Muslims by the Sunnis due to their very secular beliefs. The twirling dervish dancing comes out of Alevism and there are deep Sufi roots in Alevi Islam extending down to the Sunni Kurds and even the Iraqi Sunnis. Saddam’s Sunnism was heavily inflected with Sufism. Even Iranian Shiism has a strong Sufi component. Sufism is also quite big in Afghanistan and even in Pakistan.

However, Turks also completely despise Israel.

Nevertheless, Turkey has a very strong alliance with the Azeri Shia.

The Kurds have completely sold out to Israel and the US a long time ago although the US is probably one of their worst enemies.  Sunni Kurds don’t seem to care much of anything about the Shia for whatever reason. The Syrian and Iraqi Arabs dislike Kurds. The Turks absolutely hate Kurds. The Iranians hate Kurds too. Really nobody on Earth likes the Kurds except Israel and the US fake love. The Kurds have been sold out by everyone they ever allied with.

Even a lot of Palestinians hate Iran. Even Hamas, which has a close relationship with Iran, has prominent Shia hatred, which is why they supported ISIS and Al Qaeda in Syria against the Shia government. However, the Palestinians have close relations with both Iran and Hezbollah at the same time, so they are the most pragmatic of the ME Arabs.

Repost: Are Iranians White?

Original piece with 800 comments (!) here.

It’s certainly a reasonable question, as White nationalists in general answer a resounding “No!” to that question. But even they are funny. Stormfront threw out 300 Armenians on the grounds that they were non-White. However, this decision was very controversial, and after a while, the Armenians were quietly let back in.

They have a Pan-Europeanist policy, which is one of the few noble things about that site.

Recently there were a lot of Iranians on the site, and though I believe Stormfront does officially state that Iranians are not White, there has been a quiet hands-off “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy about them, and the Stormfronters quietly let the Iranians stay in what boils down to an open secret. In other words, Stormfront officially states that Iranians are not White, but unofficially, they turn a blind eye to Iranians joining and even organizing themselves on the site.

Iranians are funny people. In 1978, I drove an ice cream truck for a living. There were a bunch of Iranians were who driving trucks too. We were all sort of budding capitalists. You lease the truck every day, buy your ice cream, mark it up, and hope for the best. A lot of us supplemented our incomes by selling dope, including me.

The Iranians were very good at this, selling joints for $1 each mostly to the many Mexicans in the parks of Santa Ana (Santa Ana was a heavily Mexican city even 30 years ago).

Once at the end of the day (we lined up at the end of the day to have our coins rolled and get our payout in easy cash) I asked them if they were Arabs. They were adamant. “We are not Arabs!” Later I learned that they don’t like Arabs much. It’s a superior versus inferior thing. The Iranians think they are better and that the Arabs are inferior, a bunch of animals.

At worst, Iranian nationalists call them “lizard-eating Mohammadens.” Image is heathen Arab Muslims charging out of the deserts of Arabia to destroy the great and proud Iranian culture. And it’s true that the Muslims did devastate Iranian culture, but they did this to all non-Muslim cultures they encountered. After all they were Jahiliyyah or grounded in ignorance.

The modern Islamic state has reinstated this view, downplaying traditional Iranian culture, making Arabic practically a 2nd official language, etc., all of this infuriating Iranian nationalists.

The real hardcore Iranian nationalists often abandon Islam altogether and claim to be Zoroastrians, the true ancient religion of Iran.

Iranian nationalists are interesting people.

Iranian nationalists hate Arabs, so you might think they like Jews, but they hate Jews about as much as they hate Arabs. They especially hate Israel. “Marg bar Israel!” is a common cry on Iranian forms (“Death to Israel!”) And the guys yelling this stuff were older professional guys in their 40’s with young kids, secular, and while respectful of Islam, not very religious.

Why the hatred of Israel? Probably, if you are an Iranian nationalist, even a secular one, Israel is seen as your mortal enemy. That’s a logical assumption.

The harder-core Iranian nationalists also dislike Pan-Turkic types, since the Turanian lunatics usually claim some or all of Iran.

The saner Iranian nationalists hate not Arabs but Arab nationalism. Arab nationalism is funny. It’s Leftist, secular, supposedly anti-racist, but they are bristling with hatred for Iranians. Saddam Hussein’s Arab nationalist uncle, who profoundly effected his views, wrote a famous tract, somewhat humorously titled, Three Whom God Should Not Have Created: Jews, Persians and Flies.

The hatred of Arabs towards Persians is similar to that of Gentiles towards Jews or Blacks towards Whites: resentment against a group that thinks they are superior. A common claim, similar to anti-Semitism, among Whites is, “The Iranians are trying to dominate the Arab World!” It’s true that the Iranians opposed Arab nationalism, but who could blame them? The Pan-Arabists were a bunch of anti-Iranian racist shits.

What’s funny about this is that there are Iranian genes running all through the Arabs of the Levant, Mesopotamia and Arabia. It is particularly the case with the Mesopotamian Arabs. The Arab Shia in Southern Iraq have a lot of Iranian blood. One of the reasons Saddam persecuted them so harshly is he thought that they were Iranian fifth columnists. In general, it wasn’t really true, but there was reason to be concerned.

In recent years, as Iran and its Shia allies have turned into the greatest defenders of the Palestinians, the Arab nationalists are in a tough spot. They hate Iran, but how can they deny that Iran is the best defender of the Palestinians in the pitiful and sold-out Arab and Muslim world? There are particular conflicts with Hamas, a Sunni fundamentalist group which is strangely also pro-Iran, and Hezbollah, whose defense of the Palestinians puts the Sunni Arabs to shame.

These realities have forced the Sunnis into all sorts of cognitive dissonance that as usual does not make much sense.

I’ve known a few Iranians. They definitely look like White people. Their skin is often very pale White, especially the females (Why is that?). Some charts strangely enough put them right next to British, Danes and Norwegians genetically. No one knows what to make of it, but we were all together in Southern Russia 4,500 years ago. Some of us took off south to Iran, and others went into Europeans to constitute the modern Europeans. We are born of the same modern roots.

I’ve asked a few Iranians, “You’re White like us, right?” You might think they would get pissed, but they usually give an instant yes or break into a huge smile. They clearly consider themselves “Europeans outside or Europe.” One even told me explicitly that.

Scientifically, it’s an reasonable assumption.

Genetically, Iranians probably have little if any Black in them. Your average German has more Black in them than an Iranian. They do have some Asiatic genes, but probably not many.

The Iranians are actually an interesting link to populations further east. There is a close link between Italians and Iranians (Italians are probably the closest Europeans to Iranians) and then there is another close link between Iranians and Indians, especially North Indians.

So the linkage goes like this (all groups separated by only one arrow are closely linked, but groups separated by more than one arrow are not so close):

Core Europeans -> Italians -> Iranians -> North Indians

So, neither core Europeans nor Italians are all that close to North Indians per se, they can become closer to them through this linkage process.

Iranian genes are common in the region, even outside of Arabia. Many Afghans have Iranian blood and it’s quite common in Pakistanis too. There is a lot of Iranian blood in the Caucasus. Most of your Chechen, Dagestani, Ingush, etc. types seem to derive from some sort of Iranian-Turkish mix. The Ossetians are actually a transplanted Iranian group living in Russia and speaking a language related to Iranian.

There is Iranian blood running through the Stans – Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. It’s probably most prominent in Tajikistan.

Persians are only 51% or Iran. Most would be surprised to learn that. The rest are Kurds, Azeris (27%), Arabs, Lurs, Mazandaris, Qashqai, Balochis, Gilakis, Turkmen and Talysh. There are also smaller groups such as Assyrians, Armenians, Georgians, Kazakhs, Chechens and Jews.

The Kurds and Balochis have serious separatist tendencies. The Arabs (Ahvaz) just fight for more rights as an oppressed minority. Azeri separatism has not really gone anywhere, since the Azeris are actually a dominant minority in Iran! The Talysh have separatist tendencies, but in Azerbaijan, not in Iran.

I don’t support the separatism of the Balochis and Kurds in Iran as long as Iran is under imperialist assault, but if this were not the case, I would think they deserve the right to self-determination. Iran is correct to suppress Arab separatism and the desire to take Iran’s oil and gas wealth with them to a separate state.

Sure, Women Go With Conquerors but Usually Not with Genocidal Conquerors

Polar Bear: Women like the “winners,” from slave owners to invading NS Germans. We can’t un-close those legs. My point is being on top matters to women. This is a universal truth. When White women are invaded or conquered, it’s the same. To the victor go the spoils.

That may be so, PB, but the latest thinking is that for a variety of reasons, there was not a whole lot of slavemaster-slave sex going on, and what was going on was mostly with the house slaves. Even radical antiracist Black ultra-SJW’s are saying this, and if they’re saying it, it’s probably true because they’d be the last people on Earth to say that.

In truth, after the First Liberation (1865), 80% of Blacks were pure Black. No White genes at all. And the latest thinking is that a lot of the White genes that they did have went in during the last 20-30 years prior to the Civil War. You see, around 1830-1840, the plantation owners basically ran out of slaves. The slave trade itself was illegal and had ended ~1810, so they couldn’t import new ones.

What’s a slave owner to do? Simple, hire a bunch of those idle poor White men over there to work in the fields alongside the Blacks. And from 1835-1861, there were many Whites, almost all men, working in the fields alongside Blacks of both sexes.

A lot of these men were not married, and being dirt poor, they were not particularly racist. They got along quite well with the Black slaves. There was probably this attitude of, “Hey, we’re all fucked. We White men are fucked, and these Blacks slaves are fucked. None of us has a thing. Screw it.” There was a considerable amount of interracial sex between White men and Black women during this period.

If you consider that 80% of Blacks had no White in them in 1865, and almost 100% of true US Blacks now have an average of ~25% White in them, it’s quite obvious that there was a Hell of a lot of interracial sex going on from 1865  to the  present day.

In fact, Blacks were already heavily Whitened by the Second Liberation in 1964. And this was a period in which Blacks in the South lived under Jim Crow, and even Blacks  and West in the north lived under a lot of racial restrictions such as housing covenants, more or less legal if not mandatory discrimination in all sorts of ways, and sundown towns.

We had many sundown towns here in California. There are reportedly still a few sundown towns in the South. They are all-White towns of ~3,000 people in rural Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, etc. Apparently not a whole lot of Blacks are even keen on moving into those towns, so the sundown feature is not challenged.

Considering the extreme oppression that Blacks lived under in the South and to some extent elsewhere, it is quite amazing how much interracial sex went on in the century after the Civil War. And keep in mind that much of this sex was illegal, as miscegenation was against the law in many states.

Getting back to the original question, honestly, those slaves probably saw the slavemaster as more of an oppressor than a winner.

How many Jewish women got with Nazis? How many Palestinian women fuck Jewish men and vice versa? How many Kurdish women screw Turkish men? How many Hutu women got with Tutsi men? How many Carib women got with Columbus’ men? How many German women got with Russian men after 1945? How many Russian women got with German men after 1942?

People don’t dig genocide. They’re not into getting genocided. Sure, women get with conquerors in the modern era if the conquerors are relatively nice, especially if the war ends and the hostilities are all over. Most conquered women don’t get with genocidal killers of the other race.

Yes, a lot of German and Japanese women got with American men after the war, but we were not genocidal against Germans and Japanese. Especially after the war was over, there was not a whole lot of killing going on. There was some in Germany all right, in the camps where we put German POW’s, but those were soldiers, not everyday civilians.

Yes, some Frenchwomen got with Nazis, but the Nazis were not genocidal towards the French.

Indian women got with White men, but we were actually not genocidal towards their people, despite what you read. Most of the Indians died of disease, like at least 95% of them. The number of Indians killed by Whites was something like 7,000 in the whole history of the Indian wars.

Many Indian women in Latin America got with Spanish and Portuguese men, but the Spaniards were typically not genocidal. There was prejudice and discrimination but there was none at first when a lot of the genes went in.

Homosexuality in the Arab World: A Rundown

Polar Bear: I don’t get why Jews are the most gay-friendly Semites. Was homosexuality intended for the Gentile sheep? Perhaps the overcrowed urban areas in Europe or Jewish ghettos made Jews gayer than Arabs.

I’m not for Muslims throwing gays off rooftops like eagles dropping turtles to break their shell/closet. Maybe that’s the Semites’ natural state though, with the newly imported Jew going against the dominant culture of most the Middle East.

Ha ha, there is more homosexuality there than you think. Gay men who go to the Arab World say it is full of homosexuality.

Syria

I read about a gay man going to Syria, and he said men were hitting on him everywhere. There is still a lot of male homosexuality in Syria. A Grinder search found a lot of men, even in ISIS-occupied Raqqa! However, Syrian police regularly arrest gay men. They beat them up and order them to fuck each other while the cops watch, laugh, and mock them.

Lebanon

Gay male Syrian refugees were found in Beirut where they were living many men to a house and complaining of a lot of homophobia in Lebanon. Hezbollah regularly beats up gay men.

Gay men are regularly murdered in Palestine. No one is ever arrested.

Kuwait

Another gay man went to Kuwait and said the same thing. And he fucked some guy on the beach at night, apparently a regular thing.

Saudi Arabia

A Kuwaiti friend told me that “half of Saudi men are gay” and that this is a big problem in Saudi culture, with the women complaining about it a lot. A man went to Saudi Arabia and said that there were actually gay bars there that were accepted as long as everything was on the down low. Even straight guys walk down the street arm and arm though, so it’s easy for gays to fit in.

Lesbianism is a huge problem at the girls’ schools with love affairs and wild breakups disturbing the environment a lot. Lesbian affairs among the Saudi princesses or sheikhas are quite common.

The Arab World is all about propriety or appearance. For instance a wild out-of-control gay male wedding in Saudi Arabia got busted for getting too loud and out of hand. A number of men were dressed as women at that event. They got prison terms.

Although Saudis supposedly execute gays, not much is done about them in truth.

Oman

The leader of Oman is regularly rumored to be a gay man. Whether he really is or not is not known.

Iraq

In Iraq, gay men are regularly murdered and prosecutions are nonexistent. The Shia in Iraq in particular hate them. There was a controversy when Ayatollah Sistani issued a fatwa that said that the punishment for male homosexuality was death. Shia death squads have been running around murdering gay men in Iraq, often in horrible ways, for some time.

Egypt

In Egypt there is a lot of homosexuality. Gay men go there and say that teenage boys hit on them in the boats you rent on the Nile. One gay man visited an older gay male couple who lived discreetly in Cairo. As long as they kept it on the down low, no one cared.

Up to ~20% of young Egyptian men fuck men. However, only the “faggots” or bottoms are considered gay. Most of the 20% are just straight guys who top.

There were arrests of a large wild gay male party on a boat on the Nile. Once again it had gotten very wild and out of hand. There was a very public and raucous trial in which many of these men were sentenced to a few years in prison. It’s all about propriety. Gay male behavior is permitted as long as it is on the down low. When it gets loud and open, there are crackdowns. You have to keep it on the down low.

Morocco

North Africans are Berbers, not Semites. There is a lot of male homosexuality in Morocco. Novelist William Burroughs and his entourage lived in Tangier for a while, regularly buying teenage boy prostitutes. The locals didn’t like it but nothing was ever done. The writer Paul Bowles also lived in Morocco most of his life, and he lived an open gay life there. No one seemed to care much.

~20% of Moroccan young men fuck guys. Most of them fuck “faggots” or gay men who are bottoms. As long as you just top, you’re not gay.  In both Morocco and Egypt, young straight men do this because access to young women is seriously restricted.

On Niggermania, Chimpout, and Other Racist Humor Sites

Apparently laughing at racist jokes makes you a racist. I don’t know about that. I mean some awful humor is really funny, right?

The guys at Niggermania and Chimpout are basically awful people. And everyone on there is damned racist. To any Black people on this site – trust me, they are not your friends!

However, I did used to go there for a while because they were so damned hilarious. I mean I might feel guilty for laughing, but that stuff was damned funny. Sure, a lot of it was cruel, but it wasn’t murderous or genocidal. They were mostly just ridiculing Blacks and definitely looking down on them. They regarded them as hilarious objects of derision.

However, the overall mood there was not particularly hateful in most of the humor forums. It seemed like they were laughing too hard at Blacks to get into really vicious and malicious hatred of them. Have you ever noticed that when people are rolling on the floor laughing, even if they are ridiculing someone, it seems hard for them to hate that person? Laughter seems to dissipate brutal hatred and vice versa.

Unless you are a gleaming-eyed sadist, it seems that you are either laughing or hating, but you can’t really do both to a full extent. The more you laugh, the more the truly vicious hatred seems to take a back seat. It’s like if you let that brutal hatred in, you wouldn’t be able to laugh so hard.

Also when you are laughing at someone, you aren’t taking them seriously. It order to destructively hate someone, it seems that you have to stop laughing about them and start to take them very seriously. Real  hatred is not a laughing matter. It’s serious stuff. Do you follow?

There was a feature called Nigger World Tour on one of those sites. I forget which. It’s not what you think. It’s a tour, travelogue, or guide to the Black countries of the world. And face it, a lot of them are pretty screwed up. That was one of the funniest things I’ve ever read.

Those sites are not White Supremacist. WN’s keep trying to join but the sites keep shooting them down by saying that they only dislike Blacks; they don’t dislike other races. There are quite a few non-White anti-Black racists on there. There are some Asians and Hispanics on there, and there is a rather shocking number of Indians on there. I get the feeling that Indians really don’t like Black people.

It feels bad to pity Black people, but it’s sad how many other races don’t like them. On the other hand, maybe that’s a warning sign that too many Black people don’t act real great. I mean where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

If only a couple of other groups hated Blacks, we could chalk it up to other things or unreason. But when the dislike extends to all sorts of different groups that don’t have much connection to each other, it’s hard to make the case that all of the animus is utterly irrational, which is the anti-racist line of course.

Racism in general is immoral for sure, but a lot of it is not entirely irrational. Do you blame Israeli Jews for hating Arabs? I am pro-Palestinian and I utterly despise Israel and don’t think much of the Jews who live there, but one must look at this fairly.

If you are a Jew and you live there, Arabs are people who are trying to murder you. I have a hard time not disliking people who want to murder me, sorry. I don’t care how much I deserve it. If you want to murder me and would definitely do it if you could get access to me and carry it out, I’m sorry. I’m going to hate y’all.

On those Black humor sites, I would laugh my ass off and then feel guilty. I do have a confession to make though, and I really hate to say it. It felt damn good to laugh at Black people. Now I don’t want to laugh at my Black friends because I like them, they act good, and I don’t like to belittle and ridicule my friends. Why did it feel good to laugh at anti-Black humor?

It’s like with women in the post recently. I’m a liberal. I’ve been a liberal my whole life. I’ve never felt a lot of overt hatred or dislike for Black people, even when I should have when I taught in the ghetto.

I used to joke that at the end of the school day, I was ready to join the KKK, but that wasn’t really true. Also most of the Black teachers and administrators were fine people. Even some of the Black kids were perfectly ok, especially in high school. The lower grades acted a lot worse.

But the hatred was mixed in with pity. I really got the feeling that some of the younger ones could not control themselves. There was one intelligent 10 year old boy who I kept having to discipline. I started to feel sorry for him after a bit because it seemed like he could not control his boisterousness and jack in the box activity. It seemed like there was something wrong with him, at least at that developmental state.

So why did laughing at those sites feel so damned good. As a liberal I am not allowed to feel much hatred, rage, or even anger at Black people. I simply don’t experience that, even when reading about vicious Black crimes. It’s like I’ve been immunized not to think that way.

But I am absorbing all of that tidal wave of bad Black behavior anyway. And apparently it’s been pissing me off, even though I don’t experience it much cognitively. I either suppress or even repress my rage. At any rate, I push it down inside of me, bury it. In psychology, some think that you don’t really bury anything. Instead you’re just putting a lid on a boiling pot.

Obviously any of your interred stuff tends to come out in dreams. But it can come out in other ways. Suppression and repression are like putting a lid on a pan of boiling water. You think you are going to stop the boiling action by capping it, but really all you do is delay it, and sooner or later, the suppressed boiling action bubbles over the lid of the pan.

After pushing all that anger down, I get exposed to this anti-Black humor, and all that bottled-up rage that I stored up as a liberal unable to express anger towards these people came pouring out. It felt very good, like a pack of rocks had been lifted from my shoulders. It was also a harmless outlet for this bottled-up anger because I won’t allow myself to express it in any other way.

I realize sites like this are wrong, but racist humor is like bullying and a lot of other unpleasant and probably permanent aspects of being human. It’s not going away. So what to do, then?

I thought hey, why don’t Blacks make sites like this making fun of us Whites in a similar way? As long as it wasn’t too vicious, I would  probably laugh at it. Paul Mooney’s humor is very anti-White, but I roll on the floor every time I hear him. He spears us Whites hard and deep, and damn if we don’t deserve it.

I haven’t been to those sites in a while, as I feel too guilty to go there.

Alt Left: An Educated Public Is Bad for Israel

Some pro-Israel activists think that is only people were more educated about the Israel-Palestine issue, they would be more likely to support Israel. In fact, I doubt if that is true. Indeed, I would say that the less someone knows about the conflict, the more likely they are to support Israel.

The more someone learns about it, the more likely they go anti-Israel. Jews would best benefit from keeping people as ignorant as possible about these issues. It’s like political science and economics.

I really hate to admit it, but once I started looking deeply into this issue for the first time in my early 40’s, I rather quickly become pro-Palestine and extremely anti-Israel. It took me a mere few months of very intensive research to do so.

I also realized that I had been pretty much taught a pack of lies about this issue. I was also quite angry at my country and especially my media because I felt that they had lied to me for the first 43 years of my life about this issue. I became rather jaded towards Jewish people because I realized that they had been instrumental in selling me this clever nonsense.

So you see, education about this issue is a two-edged sword. From the Israeli POV, I would say that the less a Gentile knows about this issue, the more they support Israel. I realized that the Jews and their supporters had to come up with this clever pack of lies in order to sell their necessary project, that is, to survive. We all have to survive.

I also realized that the Arabs have not exactly been on good behavior on this issue either. For all the talk of Zionazis, the Arab cause has been nothing but sheer terrorism of the most vicious type from Day One. They haven’t even tried to sugarcoat it. Look at this:

This list was appalling. I don’t particularly mind the attacks officials of the Israeli government. It’s a dirty guerrilla war after all. But look at how many of those attacks are simply against Jewish people, synagogues, restaurants, etc. They’re attacking Jews for being Jews!

Are the Jews in the Diaspora squatting in Palestine? Nope. So the Palestinian cause is to attack all of the Jewish people in the Diaspora? The Palestinians should be happy there is a Diaspora. From their POV, that’s where the Jews should be. I am sorry, but attacking Jews as Jews is an old game. Most recently, Mr. Hitler did that. Anti-Semitic political attacks are ugly stuff.

As far as my position, of course I am inclined to let the Palestinians run free in Israel and let nature take its course. The problem is that they probably won’t simply build humble abodes and make themselves at home. I am very worried that they will start a guerrilla war and start killing Jews. Look at the wars in the Arab World, and you might end up with that.

I don’t know the solution, but I am willing to let all the Jews stay where they are as long as they let the natives mingle. On the other hand, I don’t want to see a guerrilla war on Jews. In any just solution, the Jews of Israel need to be able to live in peace in their land without maniacs trying to murder them.

Whatever crimes the Jews of Israel have committed, the Palestinians have committed offenses of equal amorality or worse. And whatever their failings of the civilian Jews of Israel, I don’t think they deserve the death penalty. In particular, though I am not happy about Israeli Jews at all, it’s clear that they are all completely brainwashed.

I opposed killing Nazi civilians, for Chrissake. I can’t condone killing Israeli civilians. The last round of Jew-killing was particularly horrific, and I personally don’t have the stomach for much more large scale Jew-killing. I think a lot of the rest of the world feels the same way.

I don’t even oppose all Israeli parties. I could live with the Meretz Left and of course Hadash (Communist Party of Israel).

Alt Left: Temporary Ban from Facebook for This Completely Non-racist Paragraph

Israel: Just Pack Up and Go

Garren Seifert: Not dumb. Hateful, yes. I don’t care about Jews other than the ones infesting Palestine. Jews belong in the Diaspora, sorry. This whole Zionist project has been a terrible and tragic mess.

Hey Israelis! You can’t get along with even one country in that whole region! Hell. Just pack up and go, Israelis. Take off. Leave. Everyone hates you. No one likes you. You hate all your neighbors and wage war on all of them, and they all hate you. You are the problem.

Some Jew on Faceberg reported me for this. I got a three-day ban for hate speech. I guess “Israeli” is a race or ethnicity. Who knew?

Of course the Jews and a lot of their Gentile fellow travelers have been trying to say that anti-Zionism is a form of Jew hatred forever now. It often is but it doesn’t have to be. You can despise the Israeli state but leave the Diaspora Jews out of it.

What did the Diaspora Jews every do to you, Palestinians? Did they steal your land and water and leave you shelterless in your very own homeland? No? Did they hurt and kill you? No? They didn’t hurt you themselves. Other people did. So why not leave them out of it?

Now I don’t like Israel-firsters in the Diaspora too much either, but if you hate them, you have to hate the tens of millions of Gentiles propping up  the whole eroding Zionist castle in the sand by the sea. I hate too many humans as it is. No need to hate 60 million new ones.

I do hate this loudmouth Jew for getting me a ban, of course.

But there are an awful lot of Jews who are not Israel-firsters. If you never mention Israel you might think they were the coolest people in the whole world.

Alt Left: Have Any of These People Ever Met One Actual Muslim?

SHI: But, then you go to Breitbart, you have the other loonies to deal with: climate change deniers, holocaust deniers, anarchists, female psychopaths, potential mass shooters and of course, the honest two-bit racists.

I joined Breitbart for a while. I don’t think this crowd does you any favors.

Oh they banned me very quickly. I only posted for a couple of hours before I got a ban. And I wasn’t even saying anything liberal. I was just saying a bunch of non-interventionist type stuff. But I was defending Iran, Hezbollah, Palestinians, Muslims, etc., so maybe that did it.

At least on that one thread the hatred for Muslims was absolutely off the charts. And that’s just the Alt Light. So I think a lot of these Trumpies would get along well with the Hindutvas. I was reading that thread and I was thinking, “You know what? Any Muslim who votes Republican is out of his damned mind.” Like a Black voting for segregation and Jim Crow, something like that.

And it was obvious to me that many of them had never met or known an actual Muslim person. They kept saying all Muslims believe this, Muslims believe that, bla bla. And quoting the stuff the jihadis believe. But they are maybe 10% of Muslims. And here in the US I haven’t met a jihadi type yet.

I got to know some Palestinian Muslims who were openly bragging to me about how Palestine was always the least religious and most secular place in the Middle East. 28% of Palestinians describe themselves as “nonreligious.”

Plus these Palestinian guys were perverts. They were talking about women like they were dinner appetizers, which is about the way I talk about them. It’s about the way all men should talk about them, honestly.

And I got to know some Yemenis at the local market and got on famously with them. They never said one single bad thing about me. The older man was my age and befriended me. I was like a superhero to them because I was a single guy without a nickel, and I still managed to get hot women, have hot women staying at my place, etc. I had brought different hot women in there a few times. Because in their society you just can’t do that.

The old man was a total pervert. Every time he saw me, he pulled me aside and asked, “Getting any pussy?” Well, White men can’t even say that stuff anymore because it’s sexist and objectifying and misogynistic, and you will actually get fired for talking like that. But thing is, that’s the way a lot of guys talk.

And women talk like that too. I have actually heard modern women ask each other, “Getting any cock?” I had a close female friend for a year and she would say, “Damn! I’m so horny! I need some cock right now!

I knew a group of older single women who would cheer for each other if one of them had some sex. They would say, “She got laid!” and a huge round of cheers and applause. That’s probably illegal and misogynistic for men to say too now because it’s objectifying and treating women like meat and the sex act like some expendable thing.

What the Hell man? Both sexes objectify the living Hell out of each other. What of it? It’s called the sex drive. You know, that evil thing the feminists hate that keeps our species going?

Anyway these Muslims were the nicest people I ever met. They never insulted me, never said anything about infidels or kufr or non-Muslims.

The older guy found out I was going to Mass, and he was very happy. If they think you are religious at all – even Christian – they almost like you better because they respect anyone who is religious. However, on that basis he also saw me as a possible convert and invited me to their Muslim prayers. I guess you can go to the prayers if you are a non-Muslim?

Every now and then I would bring up jihadis, and they had nothing but contempt and hatred for them. They would say, “That’s not the real Islam… They’re giving us a bad name… We don’t believe in that crap, etc.”

I think I liked the Palestinians more than they did. I would say stuff like, “You Arabs need to stop fighting against each other and all get together and fight the Jews. They’re the real enemy.” And this Yemeni guy looked at me like, “Dude I cannot believe you are saying that.” Not that it was an outrageous thing to hear, but when do you hear that from a non-Muslim White guy in the US?

From all I could tell they had no hatred or even dislike for non-Muslims, they had no desire to convert us or take over and put in Sharia, and didn’t support any of the jihads going around – they barely even supported the Palestinians!

Every now and then I would bring up some of the more objectionable parts of Islam and they would act like they’d never heard of what I was talking about. Or they would just say, “Yeah, we don’t believe that crap.” Your average US Muslim is a really cool person, doesn’t support jihadism it all, has not the slightest dislike for non-Muslims, etc.

All these crazy Muslim-haters out there have obviously never met or gotten to know a single real Muslim. I even think Robert Spencer of Jihadwatch has never met or gotten to know one real Muslim, even though I guess he has.

Alt Left: Who’s White? A Caucasian Roundup, or Ultra-Pan-Aryanism

Thinking Mouse: I didn’t read the article and now see you disagree with me, but I’ll explain why I think this category is appropriate.

Since I’m largely anti-HBD (though the African non-African dichotomy might have some merit), especially to the traits affecting many types of social capital, I really just see race as the social constructs and their origin. So when people look different, that could have an affect on the perception people have, and it used to in the past.

I think its that you are raised in America with its diversity, and maybe your lack of racism has made you accept more swarthier people as fulfilling the roles of good citizens, and therefore get a pass to the all so important group. In my view, by your criteria for a race, we might as well say that an Frenchman with dark hair and large nostrils/bulgy nose is Chinese cause they don’t look “that different”. Blue eyes and pink nipples are almost unique to Whites, that’s like indispensable right there.

Of course Arabs are White, especially North Africans like Moroccans and Algerians. However, there are Black people in those countries and they don’t count. Most Libyans are White. So are most Tunisians and most Egyptians. There are non-White Egyptians in the South. I had an Egyptian girlfriend once who would be more properly characterized as a light skinned Black woman. Light Egyptians and Moroccans openly identify as White.

Most Saudis and Yemenis are White. The Yemenis we have here are all White and identify as White. All Syrians are White and the ones here also identify as White. Palestinians, Jordanians, Lebanese, Iraqis and Gulf types are mostly White. However there are a few Blacks among these people in Iraq and the Gulf. Prince Bandar is not a White man.

Of course Persians and most Afghans are White. Afghans even identify as White. The ones I know told me they are Aryans, the original Whites. But some Afghans are Asiatics, like the Hazara. Most Pakistanis are White, and some even identify as White. There are some non-Whites down in the South, but all the ones I have met are as White as I am.

Many but not all North Indians are White, especially Punjabis, many of whom are as White as I am. Quite a few Uighurs and Nepalis are White, but many are not. Groups like the Mansi are similar and you have to look at them on an individual basis.
Of course Chechens, Azeris, Georgians, Armenians and the rest of the people of the Caucasus are White. Also Azeris, Armenians and Chechens at least identify as White.

Most Turkmen, Kyrgyz, Kazakhs, and Uzbeks, etc. and many Siberians from around the Altai are best seen as mixed race. Many Tatars and Bashkirs are also mixed race. All of these groups are so mixed with Asiatics that they can’t really properly be called Whites.

I would look at facial and bone structure. Really all Caucasoids are simply Whites. Look at the face and if the face looks like a White person’s face, no matter the skin color, they are White.

ISIS Attacks Iran, and the "Qatar Shunned by Gulf as Sponsor of Terrorism" Lie

Here.
This is part of ISIS’ endgame – unleashing total civil war in Iran with the goal of conquering the nation. This is one of the principal goals of the organization.
That’s pretty serious. Bottom line is blame the Gulf Arab states for this attack. This is what the Saudis, Bahrainis, UAE and Kuwaitis want. It’s all about “get Iran.” The pitiful and laughable Trump tour of Saudi Arabia recently where he gained the support of the Gulf in the war on terrorism is a joke! The US then signed a deal to sell the malign Saudis billions more in weaponry.
Oh and the deal was the the weaponry from US weapons manufacturers which was said to be made in the US was then shifted over to Saudi Arabia! So the weapons we are selling them won’t even create jobs in the US. Trump exported a huge amount of US jobs! Not a single word this pathological liar of a President says can be trusted.
Then Trump tweeted about how Qatar is failing in the war on terrorism and how the Gulf countries are cutting off ties with Qatar due to Qatar’s ties with terrorism. This is laughable! Yes Qatar has ties to terrorism, but so does Kuwait, Bahrain and especially UAE and Saudi Arabia, two of the worst. So the Gulf nations are forming a “common front against terrorism” against Qatar and the US is going along with this phony, lying charade. Pitiful! And not one US MSM outlet will ever tell you the truth about what is going on over there. Since none will, I will do that right now.
As I said, the other Gulf countries sponsor just as much terrorism as the Qataris. The reason for the “anti-terrorist: shunning of Qatar is because in recent days, Qatar has developed close ties with Iran. Now how this ties in with Qatar’s support of the Al Nusra Front (Al Qaeda in Syria) and their war against the Shia, I have no idea.

Another problem is that Qatar is very friendly with the Ikhwan or Muslim Brotherhood. Yes this is a fundamentalist Islamic organization but it is a huge group with vast support across the Arab World. In the last Egyptian elections, the MB won 75% of the vote. That’s how popular they are in Egypt.
Hamas is actually the Palestinian branch of the MB, a fact that they try to keep on the down low because Palestinians are some of the most secular people in the Arab World and the MB has never been very popular there.
The MB has significant support in Jordan where they are seen as a threat to the dictatorship. Much of Parliament is made up of MB people.
The MB is frankly who is running the entire war in Syria against the Assad regime because the MB has always been the major opposition group in the land. The MB simply dissolved into countless jihadi groups which  have proliferated across the land during the civil war, including Al Nusra and ISIS, both of which have MB roots. The MB has also been a significant factor in the civil war in Iraq.
Saddam repressed them to some extent, but after the US conquered Iraq and turned it into a US colony, the MB was legalized and had quite a bit of support.
Al Qaeda itself was created by MB radical preachers exiled from Egypt and Syria who came to Saudi Arabia in the 1980’s on and mingled with the Wahhabis, who were largely quietist at that time. This toxic stew brewed for a long time under it cooked up a dish called Al Qaeda. In that sense, Al Qaeda definitely has MB roots.
Although they share the same beliefs, the MB is very heavily repressed in Saudi Arabia and UAE and I am not sure of its status in Bahrain and Kuwait. The MB is very popular in Saudi Arabia, and the problem is more that the Saudis see them as a threat to Wahhabi power of the Royal Family.  There is a similar problem in UAE.
On the other hand, Qatar has long been friendly to the MB. This is why Hamas for a long time had one of their major headquarters in Qatar. However, with the mess in Egypt with the MB winning elections followed by the military coup by General Sisi, the Gulf states have gotten a lot more worried about the MB.  Recently Hamas was forced to vacate their long held offices in Qatar due to pressure from the other Gulf states. However, Qatar continues to have friendly relations with the MB, so Qatar is now on the enemies’ list of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan and Egypt because they fear and hate the MB.
The MB does have terrorism ties but not in a formal sense. The MB itself renounced armed struggle and is sworn to take power peacefully. However, it is constantly producing radicals who spin out of the organization and take up arms to join the jihadi groups. At that time, they are not formal members of the MB anymore. And former jihadis spin back into the MB on a regular basis. So the MB is not a terrorist organization so much as an incubator for jihadis and terrorists. Hence, the shunning of Qatar for its close relationship with “the terrorist MB” was another one of the laughable, fake and lying  reasons for the shunning. This was reported with a straight face by the “free press” in the US.
They’re lying to you. Every day. All day long. They’re lying to you. Get it in your heads. The US MSM is a formal propaganda system as effective or more so as the propaganda media systems in Communist countries.

Is There Anything to the “Taqiyyah” Accusation Against Muslims?

EPGAH writes:

How do you know what the Muslims in your town TELL you is really how they feel, and not just “Taqiyyah”?

They’re not lying to me.

Most of the ones who bother to come here get over the “hate the infidels” bull. Hell, if they are even willing to work with Jews in New York, they cannot be too into the hate the infidel bullshit.

I have met a few Muslims who were somewhat radicalized. They don’t really try to hide it honestly.

I think this “taqiyya” thing is massively exaggerated. Taqqiya was supposed to allow Muslims to lie when they are in a population that is hostile and oppressive towards Muslims. That is, they are allowed to lie to get by in a hostile environment. The Jews, Alawi, Druze, Yezidis and others all have similar customs. I am afraid that most of this taqiyya bull is just Islamophobic nonsense.

Even the Palestinians in this town are not very radical. I met four of them. I was shocked at how moderate they were. I was much more radical on the subject of Israel than they were. They practically considered me to be a terrorist based on the way I talked. The attitude of many of the Palestinians who come to the US is “The Hell with the Israel-Palestine conflict. We are done with that BS, and we have to come to America to forget about it, move on and let bygones be bygones.”

I met two brothers who told me that the Jews had out and out stolen 50 acres of their family’s land in the West Bank and turned it into a military base. They never got paid one nickel for it, and the Jews are never going to give it back. But they didn’t even sound very radical when they were talking about that. They sounded like they wanted to forget about it and move on.

I will say one thing. Muslims here respect you a lot more if you are religious. I imagine they do not think too much of atheists. I told them that I went to the local Catholic Church and they were very happy like, “Good! You worship God! Everyone should have a religion.”

One of the Palestinians even said, “Why don’t you like Islam? There’s nothing wrong with Islam. Islam is just like Catholicism. There’s not much difference really.” He seemed to respect Catholicism as some sort of rather conservative creed that worshiped the same God the Muslims did.

One thing I will say though is if you get close to these Muslims here, they will try to convert you to Islam. They already tried that with me. They invite you to a big meal at the mosque, and apparently this is a way to try to convert you. Islam is definitely a proselytizing religion.

US Muslims Are Not Bad in and of Themselves

I do not believe that US Muslims are a problem in and of themselves. Sure, some are a problem, but the overwhelming majority seem to be ok. Muslims are like Blacks. Sure some Blacks are criminals and give the group a bad name, but Blacks are not a problem in and of themselves because so many Blacks are living perfectly decently like you, me or anyone else. Saying all US Muslims are evil is like saying all US Blacks are evil – it’s as bunch of stupid racist bull.

We have Yemeni, Pakistani and Palestinian Muslims in this town. These Muslims in my town are causing exactly zero problems. They are not even very radical. I would say that I am far more of an America-hater than any Muslim in my town.

I know each of these Muslims pretty well, but I know the Yemenis better than the others. In fact, a number of them are friends of mine. These Yemenis are not causing any problems at all.

A few of them are out and out patriotards. One graduated from Georgetown University and is in with US government types. At first he wanted to work for the FBI as an Arabic interpreter. He flies back to DC for political conferences sponsored by the State Department.

He is a very strong supporter of US foreign policy. In fact, when he opens his mouth, he sounds like a mixture of Hillary Clinton, Ashton Carter and John Kerry. He buys into all the Deep State propaganda of the corporate media 100%. The guy’s a lost cause. He’s not an America-hater at all. In fact, he’s and out and out neocon patriotard!

I don’t think they hate non-Muslims one bit. I have never heard them say anything against non-Muslims, not one word. They don’t even like to talk bad about Jews. In fact, they worry about me because they think I am an antisemite, and they think antisemitism is uncool. The older man told me that Yemeni Muslims and Yemeni Jews get along in the US quite well, as they put aside whatever differences they might have had in the homeland. He said many Yemeni Muslims work together with Yemeni Jews in New York running stores.

If they hate anyone, it’s Shiites and Iranians, but the old man doesn’t mind the Shia, and he doesn’t care about Iran either. He hates the Saudis worse than anyone else in the region. This opinion is apparently common, as many Yemeni nationalists despite the Saudis since Saudi Arabia has intervened in Yemen over and over and treats Yemen like a colony. The older guy in fact is supporting the Shia Houthis in their war against the Saudi, UAE, Egyptian, Sudanese, Jordanian, US and UK aggressors and invaders.

He told me that the Zaidi Shia of Yemen are just about Sunnis theologically. They only differ in one or two minor ways. In fact the “Shia” Zaidis are themselves diverse as not all of them even identify as Shia! Some “Shia” Zaidis say that they are actually Sunnis, and others say that they are both Sunni and Shia at the same time. They characterize themselves in these odd ways because Zaidism is so close to Sunnism doctrinally.

I have a very hard time understanding why these Muslims in my town are some sort of enemy within. Sure there are radicalized US Muslims, but I’ve never met one myself.

“Time to Rekindle the UN Spark,” by Eric Walberg

New article by my friend Eric Walberg.

Time to Rekindle UN Spark

Eric Walberg

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon recently held a commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the squashing of UN resolution 3379, equating Zionism with racism. It was passed in 1975 by a vote of 72 to 35 (with 32 abstentions). The festive event this year was attended by US Secretary of State John Kerry and head of the Israeli Labour Party and Zionist Union Isaac Herzog, son of Chaim Herzog, president of Israel from 1983 to 1993, and star of the 1975 UN session.

The 1975 vote took place approximately one year after resolution 3237 granted the PLO “observer status”, following Yasser Arafat’s “olive branch” speech to the General Assembly in November 1974. It succeeded only because the Soviet Union and its allies were there to support the Arab and Islamic majority countries.

It was revoked in December 1991 by UN resolution 46/86. At the commemoration this year, Ban Ki-moon recalled Chaim Herzog’s words in 1975, “I appeal to the community of nations to always act to uphold the principles of the United Nations Charter to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbors.” Such nice platitudes coming from the Israeli ambassador—community, principles, tolerance, peace…

It is odd that this year’s festivities actually celebrate the passing of the resolution, rather than its demise, commemorating the chutzpah of Israeli UN representative Herzog, who stole the show, recounting how magnanimous Israel is with its Arab citizens, who apparently held the same rights as Jews, worked in border and police defense forces, were elected to parliament, studied at universities…

He pointed to Arabs coming from elsewhere for medical treatment, and to “the fact that it is as natural for an Arab to serve in public office in Israel as it is incongruous to think of a Jew serving in any public office in an Arab country.” The UN ambassador finished his tirade by ripping up the resolution and defiantly stating he would have UN Avenues in Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv renamed Zionism Avenues.

Herzog didn’t mention how traditionally Jews lived freely under Muslim rule and often served Muslim leaders as advisers, how Arab anger today is directly due to Israel’s murderous, illegal actions against the rightful citizens of what was once the Roman province of Syria Palaestina. He didn’t mention the millions of Palestinians denied their basic rights because Israel is apparently free of racism.

At least the 1975 gathering had some punch. There was no substance in the commemoration in 2015. Kerry waffled, despite a weeks-long wave of violence that has claimed the lives of at least 77 Palestinians along with 10 Israelis. No mention of that. He said that a two-state solution in the Middle East was “not an impossible dream” but would require courage. Yawn.

Kerry called the 1975 resolution “ominous” because it gave “a global license to hate” the state of Israel. But then “hate” covers just about any word of criticism of Israel. After all, election fever is rising in the US and the Israel lobby is alive and well.

Bush Senior’s Half Truths

It is more instructive to deconstruct the speech by US President HW Bush, who introduced the UN motion overturning resolution 3379 in 1991, which he said “mocks this pledge and the principles upon which the United Nations was founded. Zionism is not a policy; it is the idea that led to the creation of a home for the Jewish people, to the State of Israel. To equate Zionism with the intolerable sin of racism is to twist history.”

He was half correct. Zionism is an idea, one that turned into a policy of racial exclusion and victimization of the Palestinian natives, whose land and property the new immigrants stole, even as they conducted a state policy of terror against the natives. Bush made no explanation of why Zionism is not a policy. But the Soviet voice was gone by 1991; only the US voice was heard defending the pious hope that Israel would one day make peace with the Palestinians based on the original 1947 UN Resolution 181 to partition the territory.

Bush’s claim that Zionism is not a policy of racism simply flies in the face of reality. But then the US itself was founded on an idea much like Zionism. The Puritans, Quakers and many other religious groups immigrated intending to establish an ideal Christian society modeled on the Bible, an idea which also was a policy of genocide of the American natives.

The 17th philosopher Francis Bacon penned a utopian novel New Atlantis based on his enthusiastic support for establishing the British colonies in North America, depicting the creation of a utopian land where “generosity and enlightenment, dignity and splendor, piety and public spirit” are the commonly held qualities of the inhabitants of the mythical Bensalem.

The idea of a “new Jerusalem” is the bedrock of the US idea.
Even such a respected philosopher was able to disregard the racist policy of genocide against the American natives in the name of “generosity and enlightenment etc.” No one noticed that, from the start, that the idea of the US (Bensalem) was a racist idea, just as its policies were. Only in the 19th century did international opprobrium finally push the US to abolish its most glaring racist policy—slavery.

But by then, the idea of a Jewish state in Palestine was already being mooted by British politicians such as Lord Shaftsbury, and Israel was finally forced down the UN throat by FDR and Truman. For Shaftsbury et al, it was merely a logical development of western ‘civilization‘.

Bush lauded the crushing of the racism resolution in 1991 as “a real chance to fulfill the UN Charter’s ambition of working ‘to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person’.” Yet he was unable to see that the emperor (himself) and his offspring were wearing no clothes, that it is Israel that is the scourge of war, the violator of human rights and human dignity.

Bush stated that the UN “cannot claim to seek peace and at the same time challenge Israel’s right to exist.” Again a half truth. No one intended to wipe Israel off the map, as long as it was a nation that followed international norms, in particular human rights of the peoples who live there or who will return there from refugee camps when a peaceful solution to the stand-off is agreed. But this is only possible if we address Bush’s other half truth that lies at the heart of Zionism, both as idea and policy.

Bush’s other mistake was to define the State of Israel as “a home for the Jewish people”. This makes Israel racist by definition, just as Hitler identified Germany as the home of the Aryan people, a similarly vague, racist definition of the state.

Bush’s Lesson: Don’t Cross Israel

There is a bitter irony in Bush’s kowtowing to Israel in 1991. In September he had asked Congress to delay Israel’s request for $10 billion in loan guarantees to help settle Soviet Jews, trying to force Israel to stop its illegal settlement construction and negotiate a real peace. He no doubt was recalling how Eisenhower had made Israel bend to the US game plan in 1956. Ford/ Kissinger/ Carter had too, though just barely in the 1970s, curbing somewhat Israel’s colonial ambitions. Both times, ironically, US leaders relied on the Soviet ‘threat’ to give them some backbone.

But ‘in victory, defeat’. The Soviet ‘threat’, providing the US some leverage with Israel, was no more, and in the meantime, the Israel lobby in Washington had become too powerful for a president to counter. The Zionists were in no mood to swallow their pride and obey a newly holier-than-thou imperial Washington.

Bush senior found he had no allies for his plan to bring Israel into line. He scurried to the UN to burnish his credentials, but to no avail. The Israel lobby mobilized, found their ideal candidate in Bill Clinton, and Bush suddenly was being attacked in the media. Incessant negative publicity as election day approached did the trick. He lost his re-election bid, going from a 90% approval rate following the Iraq invasion to 37% on election day.

It is time for a new resolution 3379, something with teeth that will wake Israel up and push it to admit its sins. There is no hope to find a sponsor in Washington. However, the support for Palestinians struggling for their rights continues to grow. The EU, BDS and others boycott settlement goods are having their effect. Israel‘s neighbors continue to resist. As US power wanes, there is hope that the UN will once again find some backbone.

IQ in Israel and Palestine

Jason writes:

This brings up another deep thought. Ever wonder why high IQ Jews and Palestinians can’t get along? Could it be because the Arab IQ is so inbred and low? How much can one blame on the Jews?

Needless to say, I strongly disagree with the thrust of this argument. However it does bring up an interesting question regarding what the IQ’s are of the Israelis and the Palestinians. After a bit of Googling around, I found these figures:

Ethnic group IQ
Israeli Ashkenazim 107
Israeli Jewish 100
Israeli Sephardic 99
Israeli total 98
Israeli Mizrachi 93
Israeli Arabs/Palestinians 85

Most figures are from here. Israeli Ashkenazim figure is from here. Better figures including a study by James Flynn are here (Flynn 1998. Kaniel and Fisherman 1991). This page seems to prove that Lynn’s widely cited 94-95 figure for Israel is wrong and a better figure is 98. The figure for Palestinians is a result of a recent study done by Richard Lynn (Bakhieta and Lynn 2014).

Feel free to discuss and make of these figures what you will.

Who Should Christians Support in the Middle East?

Thelyniezian writes:

This kind of bothers me. More war and nations supplying arms to other nations. Proxy wars. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly do not like it when the West does it either.Given my particular Christian beliefs I am inclined to want to stand with Israel, but at the same time many of the things they seem to be doing (forcing Palestinians out of their homes in order to build settlements, disproportionate responses to attacks from Hamas etc.) do not help matters in practice. I dare say this is one area where I might not be in agreement with Robert.

Whatever is right or wrong, I can’t exactly seeing this end well.

Israel treats Christians like shit. Traditionally, Jews have always hated Christians, and most Jews I have met feel pretty much the same way.

If you are pro-Christian, you should be for Hezbollah and Syria. Hezbollah gets along immaculately with the Christians who live in South Lebanon, and there is even a huge Christian political faction that is allied with Hezbollah right now.

All of the Syrian Christians love Assad, and most of them really hate Israel. I spoke to a Syrian Christian once and he was one of the wildest anti-Semites I have ever met.

I dated an Iranian Christian recently, and you would not believe what an Israel-hater she was. She could have been a Muslim based on the way she talked. She was also rather anti-Semitic.

You will find that a lot of Middle Eastern Christians are real Israel-haters, and a lot of them are pretty anti-Semitic to boot. Israel hasn’t done a good job of winning friends and influencing people over there to say the least.

Has anyone here ever met a Palestinian Christian? I have, and they hate Israel so much you would be shocked. When they talk you would almost think it is Hamas talking. Most of them support a group called the PFLP which is about as radical as Hamas although it is secular. Many of the PFLP’s supporters are Palestinian Christians.

US policy has been a catastrophe for the Christians of Mesopotamia and the Levant. Secular dictators who were very friendly to and protective of the Christians were removed, and what boils down to Al Qaeda and ISIS took their place. So many Iraqi Christians have died. Almost every Iraqi Christian knows someone who has been killed in the war. The community has collapsed and 50% have left the country. The US is essentially complicit in the virtual genocide of the Mesopotamian Christians.

Yochanan Gordon, "When Genocide is Permissible"

This article caused quite a stir when it was published one of the Times of Israel‘s blogs. But is was so controversial that the Times of Israel took down the blog post and appears to have suspended the author. The author’s father is the publisher of the Five Towns Jewish Times in Nassau, New York, serving the large Orthodox Jewish community in that part of New York. The article first appeared in that publication. Yochanan’s grandfather was a somewhat famous Jewish author who wrote in Yiddish.
People are screaming and yelling about it a lot, but if you go to Israel National News, similar views, not quite as broadly stated, are so normal they are nearly the norm for commenters on that site. Yet even there some have gone overboard calling for germ warfare and chemical warfare to be unleashed on Gaza. One man called for the IDF to release the Ebola Virus on Gaza. However, many of the commenters have protested these posts as going too far.
Nevertheless, let us be fair, Muslims the world over are calling for the genocide of the Jews in one way or another just about every week. “Kill the Jews! Kill all of the Jews, every one of them!” and other comments along those lines are pretty regular fare with preachers in Saudi Arabia, Germany, the UK, Gaza and Egypt. These preachers are generally from the Salafi-jihadist or global jihad/Al Qaeda school of radical Islam.
Nevertheless, statements by Palestinians have not been very heartening either. Yasser Arafat said that once the Arabs get Palestine back, they would slowly terrorize the Jews into leaving. Although I think he said psychological terrorism, we know what he meant. George Habash of the PFLP said a long time ago that there were no limits when it came to killing Jews in order to win back Palestine. Note that Jews in general were targeted although the fight was against Jewish nationalists in Israel.
Sheik Yassin, a wicked little beady eyed troll of a man, was interviewed by Atlantic Magazine‘s Jeffrey Goldberg. Yassin allowed that all Jews who could prove that they were in Palestine before 1916 (the Balfour Declaration) would be considered residents and not settlers and could stay on the land. The rest would be considered invaders. How to deal with them. “We will slowly kill them until they leave,” he allowed. Dr. Rantissi, pediatrician and leader of Hamas at the same time that Yassin was spiritual leader, was a famous Holocaust Denier and fulminated quite a bit about the Jews. He was also apparently a believer in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
The idiotic Hamas Charter also references that stupid book along with a lot of other traditional anti-Semitic tropes. In addition, it references the famous Koranic phrase that talks about how in the last days, the Muslims will kill off all the Jews. Some of the Jews will hide behind trees, and Allah will tell the Muslims, “There, behind that tree, there’s a Jew!” Then the Muslims will follow directions and go find and kill the Jew. Nice book, that Quran.
In closing, while I believe this article is lamentable, the Muslims say stuff like this about the Jews all the time, as in every week.

When Genocide is Permissible

by Yochanan Gordon

Judging by the numbers of casualties on both sides in this almost one-month old war one would be led to the conclusion that Israel has resorted to disproportionate means in fighting a far less-capable enemy. That is as far as what meets the eye. But, it’s now obvious that the US and the UN are completely out of touch with the nature of this foe and are therefore not qualified to dictate or enforce the rules of this war – because when it comes to terror there is much more than meets the eye.
I wasn’t aware of this, but it seems that the nature of warfare has undergone a major shift over the years. Where wars were usually waged to defeat the opposing side, today it seems – and judging by the number of foul calls it would indicate – that today’s wars are fought to a draw. I mean, whoever heard of a timeout in war? An NBA Basketball game allows six timeouts for each team during the course of a game, but last I checked this is a war! We are at war with an enemy whose charter calls for the annihilation of our people. Nothing, then, can be considered disproportionate when we are fighting for our very right to live.
The sad reality is that Israel gets it, but its hands are being tied by world leaders who over the past six years have insisted they are such good friends with the Jewish state that they know more regarding its interests than even Israel does. But there’s going to have to come a time where Israel feels threatened enough to where it has no other choice but to defy international warnings – because this is life or death.
Most of the reports coming from Gazan officials and leaders since the start of this operation have been either largely exaggerated or patently false. The truth is, it’s not their fault, falsehood and deceit is part of the very fabric of who they are, and that will never change. Still however, despite their propensity to lie, when your enemy tells you that they are bent on your destruction, you believe them. Similarly, when Khaled Meshal declares that no physical damage to Gaza will dampen their morale or weaken their resolve – they have to be believed.
Our sage Gedalia the son of Achikam was given intelligence that Yishmael Ben Nesanyah was plotting to kill him. However, in his piety or rather naiveté, Gedalia dismissed the report as a random act of gossip and paid no attention to it. To this day, the day following Rosh Hashana is commemorated as a fast day in the memory of Gedalia who was killed in cold blood on the second day of Rosh Hashana during the meal. They say the definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over. History is there to teach us lessons, and the lesson here is that when your enemy swears to destroy you – you take him seriously.
Hamas has stated forthrightly that it idealizes death as much as Israel celebrates life. What other way then is there to deal with an enemy of this nature other than obliterate them completely?
News anchors such as those from CNN, BBC and Al-Jazeera have not missed an opportunity to point out the majority of innocent civilians who have lost their lives as a result of this war. But anyone who lives with rocket launchers installed or terror tunnels burrowed in or around the vicinity of their home cannot be considered an innocent civilian. If you’ll counter that Hamas has been seen abusing civilians who have attempted to leave their homes in response to Israeli warnings to leave – well then, you’re beginning to come to terms with the nature of this enemy which should automatically cause the rules of standard warfare to be suspended.
Everyone agrees that Israel has the right to defend itself as well as the right to exercise that right. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has declared it, and Obama and Kerry have clearly stated that no one could be expected to sit idle as thousands of rockets rain down on the heads of its citizens placing them in clear and present danger. It seems then that the only point of contention is regarding the measure of punishment meted out in this situation.
I will conclude with a question for all the humanitarians out there. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clearly stated at the outset of this incursion that his objective is to restore a sustainable quiet for the citizens of Israel. We have already established that it is the responsibility of every government to ensure the safety and security of its people. If political leaders and military experts determine that the only way to achieve its goal of sustaining quiet is through genocide is it then permissible to achieve those responsible goals?
