Poison “Talk Dirty to Me”

That’s basically me. That’s who I am. Still. I actually look like this. Same hair. Now I need to get some of those cool rock star clothes to go along with it, and that’s all she wrote.

Nearly a senior citizen, but still. Life goes on. Life carries on. And not a thing changes but the seasons. I’m a permanent adolescent, I’m afraid, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Rock on, brothers, rock on! Rock until you die!

Live dangerously.

  1. Most decades before the 90s are pretty interesting. There’s greatness in early 90s film and music, amazing how much. 90s identity just doesn’t seem as strong as say 80s, 70s, 60s, ect. Not sure why but 90s on seem pretty blah. I like the 80s look on women. 70s had great looks and tunes. Pre-feminist “Mad Men” 60s seems like heaven on Earth.

    1. That’s from 1986. DAMN they made some fine music back then. Some 90’s music is good. Cranberries, Hole, L7. All chick bands. Ministry, White Zombie. Noise music, noise rock and roll, heavy stuff. And GG Allin was making hot music if you can handle his stuff lol. That was early 90’s full blown punk rock. Powerful music, loud and heavy, like the Sex Pistols.

Back then was a much better time to meet women. People weren’t all paranoid like they are now. Now everyone is terrified that you might rape or murder them. But the rates of all that crap have gone way down. There were way more serial killers running around in the 1970’s, and everyone was quite carefree.

Women way overselect on danger. They label a lot of completely harmless men as dangerous or possibly dangerous. Whether they can sort out the truly dangerous ones, I have no idea, but they’re positive error rate is very high. I laugh when women say, “Trust your gut. It’s never wrong!” Bullshit! LOL I’ve seen it be wrong a thousand times. Their gut tells them harmless guys are dangerous all the time.

      1. Thanks for posting this song! I LOVE this type of music and have seen this band live numerous times. Just for this I hereby declare this the best post ever!

Seems that way, I recall seeing people being more fun and sociable at the time.

“Now everyone is terrified that you might rape or murder them. But the rates of all that crap have gone way down.”

That seems to always be the case; the further you get from something (US Civil War, WWII, Montgomery Bus Boycott, Satanic Panic, etc.) the larger it looms.

          1. Right on Robert, it is impossible to listen to this and not strut. The way it should be.
