Eventually the sons and daughters rebel. The boy becomes a hard drinker/drug user, a hippie. The daughter becomes some feminist. Of course, in both cases society can’t understand; they think they’re just being little punks/brats.
On the one hand you could say that woman beating beats any bitch tendencies out of the woman, and often she becomes an angel of light just like that old Negro slave in Alabama. However, there has to be a way to be a good father/husband without being a monster, and many guys have done it.
A man who has to beat a woman and/or mentally abuse her is probably doing it because he cannot generate respect without doing so, which is pathetic. I mean, I’ve seen tons of people get respect without abusing their subjects.
