SJW’s bring this point up but seriously the same thing could be applied to them.
Let’s use an example of privilege. O.K., the rock band Lynrd Skynrd (my heroes) said they love the South and were treated well there, but then again, I have to admit, despite my love of the band – well, they’re White! I mean, they’re hippies and that’s one reason people picked on them, but they’re still White.
I was on this one board on the Net defending some light cultural rightwing arguments, and this one person starts tearing me apart, saying, “Well, you’re saying this from a position of privilege.”. There’s some truth to that, but even the privileged aren’t devoid of wisdom.
