The language has only 10,000 speakers, but it is still doing quite well anyway as the country where it is spoken is quite undeveloped.
The language family that this language is a member is quite famous, and a number of well-known world languages are a member of this family. This family has actually been reconstructed, and incredibly enough, this family is up to 13-15,000 years old, which is beyond the so-called 8,000 year barrier beyond which no reconstruction is possible. However, reconstructing the numerals has been very difficult, similar to Turkic.
