Nobody wants to live in an Army town, that’s for sure. In fact, my brother, who is even a macho kind of guy, was targeted by Blacks in a military town high school. However, as noted in another post, he got along great with other ethnic groups in an Air Force town.
I have an in-law that was in the 82nd Airborne, and in fact, his tales of the place seemed to suggest something just above prison – lots of drugs, racism, etc..

There’s all types in the military. Dumbest White guy I know joined the Navy. I feel there should only be three branches though.
