Is the idea of racism against blacks outdated?

The commentator Jason wrote:

I Think this whole subject is too focused on 20th century race relations paradigms. Hispanic and immigrant migrations over the late 20th and into the 21st century have really altered the demographic framework of 21st Century America. Latinos surpassed blacks as the largest minority population by the late 1990s. Note the focus on immigration and obsession that the current Trump supporters have on the issues. Focusing on purely Black-White relations in race relations is increasingly anachronistic thinking.

Well, this is “a little true”. I guess it really depends on the area. I mean, Tennessee (my state) isn’t Star Trek – and my actual neighborhood is light-years behind – even Johnson City, Tennessee (home of a local university).
