Kevin McCarthy Forced Out as Contender for Republican Speaker of the House

Here.

Apparently forced out by Tea Party Radicals. The man he was scheduled to replace, John Boehner, has just resigned for unknown reasons, but a lot of people thought he was forced out by Tea Partiers because he was tired of dealing with Tea Party radicals, even though Boehner himself was not a moderate at all.

I am starting to think that the Tea Party doesn’t even believe in the idea of a functioning government at all. Apparently their dream is a government that does as little as possible.

  1. Apparently their dream is a government that does as little as possible.

Well, yeah 😆 Isn’t that the Republican philosophy?

  2. I don’t get the Tea Party types. They support Capitalism and markets and such, but the Republican party has been dead set against Free Market Capitalism for years now.

The same here in Australia. Conservatards support “Capitalism” and they do this by opposing anyone who opposes the current system and calling them “Socialist”. But the system “Socialists” are attacking isn’t Capitalism at all because there is no capitalist system left to attack!

They didn’t get the memo that the ‘capitalist system’ has been killed, buried, exhumed, burned and buried again and replaced by an imposter system which is more like Fascism or Gangsterism. The economic ideology of the Mafia, but without the class.
