Epitaph for Elliot Rodger

“Solitude is the profoundest fact of the human condition…Man is…a search for communion. Therefore, when he is aware of himself, he is aware of his lack of another, that is, of his solitude.” Octavio Paz, The Labyrinth of Solitude (1950)

Great words from possibly Mexico’s greatest poet.

  1. If Elliot was alive Ida met him and tured that boy into a stud. Just teach him to get gals by treatin them like shit. All them rich gals woulda wanted him to shag their twatsickles.

    1. QUOTE “If Elliot was alive Ida met him and tured that boy into a stud.”
You mean like you did in prison, lol? Tured, sounds like another word I know, lol.

  2. Loneliness is only a vice to the West. In the East (specifically in Buddhist influenced cultures), solitariness is a virtue and the path to enlightenment.

  3. Are you sure? Go ask bout a hundred desis from India if they would rather jerk it or pound some lower caste vag

  4. Robert, I was kind of hoping you’d do a full post on Elliot Rodger. I’m curious about your thoughts on incel-driven violence in our society and whether this is harbinger of more to come as more men become involuntary celibates. I’m honestly surprised this sort of thing doesn’t happen more often.

  5. As some of said, freedom is BS. The whole “Freedom” shouting by Mel Gibson, forget it. So it’s not about being free, but finding a kind master, or shrink, lol.

  6. Solitude is necessary for spiritual growth, and more people need to try it. However, it’s not something anyone wants all the time.
