The Tragicomedy of Life

Life is a tragedy to those who feel and a comedy to those who think.

Unfortunately particularly appropriate after the Elliot Rodger mass shooting.
Tell the truth, that is why I don’t feel a whole lot anymore. I simply don’t want the pain. I know it’s there, all the time really, but I just don’t want to feel it anymore. Had enough of that for 20 lifetimes.
So I think and laugh a lot instead. I’m kind of a robot, but I’m a chuckling, pensive robot, so I guess it’s all good.
Any thoughts?

  1. Too many tragedies worldwide to get all upset. Not only that, the worst tragedies, starvation, street children, beatings in Saudi Arabia etc.. are given no media coverage.

    1. So true, but I guess this one struck home. It seems like all these shooting sprees are leading up towards a banning of the gun; it seems as though, the government wants to specifically target young white males, who hold guns legally. The problem is, their new law may only affect legal gun owners and not gangsters.

  2. He is was bullied, and is going on a rampage in revenge, while millions of people are enduring the same, and are not killing people.

  3. Totally unrelated but ur email details were not working on my comp, don’t know what is up, but I have a question so ill just ask it here-what ethnicity would Mediterranean European people (Greek, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) be considered? I know they are all Caucasian but I heard someone say that Europeans can be broken into roughly four major groups-Nordics, Slavs, Celtics and Latin ppl. By Latin ppl he meant those four previously mentioned countries. Isn’t Latin a linguistic classification not an ethnic one? Can I please get some clarification on this. I googled it too but the “Mediterranean race” seems to be a late 19th century to mid 20th century classification and I don’t know If it still a valid classification today.

    1. Eliot Rodgers is a spoiled, narcissistic, misogynist. He is the son of a wealthy director! He could have easily purchased his happiness. Instead, the fool parades on other peoples happiness and kills 6 people. Very sad
