Hacienda Was Banned

I just got too many requests to ban him and I have people who will no longer come to the site as long as he is present. He made a lot of good contributions, but he also antagonized many people and he fought with just about everyone. If you start getting a lot of people calling for you to be banned, your days might be numbered on this site.

  1. I really don’t understand all the racial backbiting and insecurity on this site. I came from a Midwestern city with a long history of black and white racial antagonism, and I’ve been exposed to various squabbles among Hispanics (ranging from Dominicans to Mexicans), but I must confess that all of the battles between various Indian and Asian factions are puzzling to me. A lot of these fights were real head scratchers.
I suppose a lot of it might be that old “beta male rage” that Roosh and Whiskey have explicated. The trope of the “angry Asian” exists for a reason. Not sure if this has anything to do with Hacienda’s infraction (I tend to just ignore people I don’t like), but it was something I had been noting here before, and had failed to comment on.

    1. I want it recorded that I never called for H’s banning, ever.
However, I had had it with him- done…There was no sense even engaging w/him. Waste of time. Opportunity to hone insults, maybe, but even that got old a long time ago.
I stay away for months, come back and H attacks, for basically no reason.
H was a troll because he not only made little sense when he waxed philosophical, but his overall alleged worldview just didn’t add up. So he must be lying somewhere…or maybe he’s really just a disagreeable individual.
H claimed to be an ultra-liberal American Asian who hated whites, Americans, Western anything…adds up so far…
Then, he turns around and claims to hate blacks and other races…doesn’t add up much. Unless he’s a guy like Huax, an Asian with a superiority-inferiority complex, who genuinely hates all other races, without much reason for doing so.

      1. @ Mott
In many ways, Hacienda was the more effete, pretentious version of Huax.
For all of his faults, Huax could actually compose a coherent sentence and convey a proper argument (as illogical as it might have been).
Half the time I read Hacienda’s, I couldn’t tell if he was high or drunk.

      2. BAG- Yes, Huax could be laser-sharp and coherent whenever he wanted to be.
“Effete”- I think that sums up H better than any other word!
And yes, I agree w/ your “now that the trash has been taken out” statement. I’m sure many others feel the same. They were ruining it for all- though they all had their “endearing” qualities (GSG is right about that). However, a lot of things have endearing qualities…the bad outweighs the good, though.
I feel much more comfortable commenting when I know its not going to set off a pointless tit-for-tat ad hominem war.
Commenters like Tulio, Nominay, etc. have earned my respect even though I disagree w/ alot of what they say. They have some class, at least!

          Agreed.
Even though I’ve had my disagreements with Tulio in the past, he was always very civil and enhanced the quality of the blog.
That’s why on our blog, we’re very strict about trolls, but lenient with regards to ideology.

And like Huax, he also claimed that he used such terms in an endearing fashion, and that he wasn’t actually racist.
I dunno, perhaps East Asians have a very warped notion of sarcasm.

  2. I am finally embracing my whiteness and now i do feel better, so this will be my last post as Ichigo Kurosaki, i am not Japanese and i shouldn’t feel like i am one. This was a period or stage or phase in my life only.

  3. I am glad to see you are banning non-Aryans Robert. We will be better off without that Mexican spick Hacienda. I bet he lives in a hacienda too, how did he even get a computer? All those Mexican spics who live in haciendas or barrios turn to prostitution or farm labor. Haciendas mom is probably a stripper in Mexico, and his dad is in jail or something. Hacienda is lucky the white farm owner hire his brown spick ass to do menial labor. Spics should not have right to express opinion.

  4. There was a guy named Hacienda who trolled the Opposing Views section of Stormfront. Same guy.

  5. I decided early on to never read anything that dude wrote, so it makes no difference to me personally, other than to take up less space on comment threads. I’d suggest that people be selective about whose comments you read. There’s some people on here who I won’t read anything that they write, mainly because they are long-winded and boring. A lot of times I just won’t read much of what a lot of you write, but sometimes I won’t read what Robert writes too – not because it is all boring necessarily.
That said, has anyone ever requested me to be banned?

  6. Give me back my broken night, my mirrored room, my secret life. Its lonely here, there’s no one left to torture. Give me absolute control over every human soul, and lie beside me baby, that’s an order!

  7. It makes me reminisce about the old days, the heyday, when a lot of people were around that aren’t anymore. Hacienda is another of the old faces- names- to go. Its going through a quiet period perhaps, a trough. Banning the trolls makes it more respectable but I kind of liked the way it was, with a few select trolls that were part of blog and added a little bit of spice. We were a bunch of misfits :-), arguing about whatever we wanted.
I guess he attacked people too much and could be a bit nasty. He should have toned it down a bit. There might have been a place for him still.

    1. I noticed that a lot of the old regulars have returned for this monumental occasion!

Yup, now that the trash has been taken out (Huax, Xera, Hacienda, etc), I think more of the veteran commenters will feel comfortable commenting.

      1. I will miss Xera and Huax, judging by their comments they were probably Young and good looking, and their attitude was attractive to me too, bad boys are popular with many girls. ❤ ❤

      2. I will miss Xera and Huax, judging by their comments they were probably Young and good looking, and their attitude was attractive to me too
In a nutshell, you’re the reason exploitative, sex scoring PUA’s exist.

    2. I never complained or asked that he be banned, but he was one of the reasons I mostly stopped reading and commenting.

  8. As someone who was/is not one of the old commenters but enjoyed their discussions in the old posts, I must say that I am not sorry to see Hacienda, Huax, Xera et al go.
With the other Old G’s I usually found their comments to be interesting and insightful or at least hard to predict. Hacienda and his ilk were as predictable as a clock. I don’t even think Hacienda was a troll either. Someone pointed out that he held impossibly inconsistent views and this can be taken as a sign of trolling; but he struck me more of a sputtering idiot than anything else.

    1. RWS- I agree- H wasn’t an actual troll, but what he was doing was serving as its rough equivalent. “Predictable”- absolutely. And “Sputtering idiot” has him nailed. Funny, because he was obviously quite edumacated and well read.

  9. Ah old Hacienda, scourged by the other commenters. The mob has had its vengeance. I can almost picture him standing on that balcony with Robert who says “Ecce Homo!”
But old H made his own bed by persistently insulting most of the regs here. I’ve been in flame wars myself, but not sure what H’s deal was.

  10. New to the site, I have to comment. I wouldn’t read every post because as entertainment value vs time. I believe that if you have something to say you can do it relatively , prompt , short get to the point. many people who go to message boards aren’t listen to in their perspective surrondings. every board has many trolls and I view them as less than wise. remember the human community is like a bee hive and most humans weren’t born to be thinkers or leaders. Anyhow I’ve met some very intelligent people here and the personal attacks really don’t fit in. sorry if I want a fight wouldn’t I just go home for thanksgiving.

  11. Does anyone even know that Hacienda (Halucienda, love that) was even what he claimed to be? Or even that he was a he (but this is the internet, of course). When I first saw his comments, I thought he was a chick. Don’t ask me why. Perhaps it was the high verbal skills coupled with the infuriating, willful illogic.
