The Tale of Paul Ryan and His Snout

Centuries ago there lived–“A king!” my little readers will say immediately. No, children, you are mistaken. Once upon a time there was a piece of wood.

Plenty of bipeds have long snouts, wooden men, Dogmen, sociopathic and conniving politicians. The gall of this man and his snooty running mate, to think that he and Willard can lie their way straight into the White House so shamelessly. To lie like this with no apology is disturbing. This is not the politics of the West. This is the politics of the 3rd World, in particular, this type of campaigning mirrors the campaigns of the Right in Latin America. One wonders what is so free about such dishonest and money based elections. Sure, people like me can eventually untangle all of the lies, but how many people dig through politics like I do? Worse, how many simply don’t care how much R and R lie, because to them it doesn’t matter? Does a place like Cuba, where money based elections have been swept off the face of the Earth and dishonest sloganeering is pretty much disallowed, really have less free elections than we do? There is formal democracy, the democracy of forms, and there is real democracy. They may meet, but not always. Formal democracy may just be a facade, a fat old rich man behind a curtain. And it is possible to have quite a bit of real democracy even when you limit the outward and obvious Western forms. PS, I didn’t write the blockquote above.

    1. ” Certain germs thrive & flourish in putrefying excreta. Only the fools called social reformers/do gooders would hasten to transfer them to fragrant sandalwood paste which is inimical to the germs. The precious sandalwood paste also gets rendered useless & toxic “.
As long as US welcomes more Indians, its destined to become another SHITHOLE like India -All the best Americans
Not only your nation will end up becoming SHITHOLE, but even people will become Toxic and Degenerate like Indians
You are importing one of the most degenerate Ideology and people
Save yourselves and start shooting Rampage against Indians

        1. I really don’t think so, after all the destruction they have caused to all the countries they have immigrated to, I think Robert secretly agrees with Indian man brahmins rants.

        2. I’d be extra cautious in light of the massacre in Milwaukee.
Huh? Both Jewish and Muslim immigrants have had a more corrosive influence on their adopted countries, than Hindus.

        3. Maybe my own personal experiences with Indians have been good, but I have trouble understanding some of the rage against Indians. Yes, India is an absolute shithole, yes, many aspects of Indian culture are crap. Etc.
To the extent that I get annoyed over the topic of Indians, it has to do with how certain white liberals fawn over them and their supposedly more spiritual culture and superior values.
I guess as Robert once said, maybe it’s because Indians have been let off the hook, and not subjected to criticism the way other groups have.

Xera was referring to Indians as an immigrant class, not Indians still residing in their motherland.
I don’t know exactly what your referring to. SWPLs may love Yoga, Bollywood, Vegeterian Indian cuisine but those who have visited are not hesitant to describe the conditions.
          Slumdog Millionaire took no prisoners.

You think Robert bashes Indians too much? Go visit Tunnel rats blog or mainstream web sites such as bodybuilding.com, or any youtube videos involving East Asians with Indians. Heck, look up how Australians treat Indians and “deal” with them. The Indian hate seems to be almost a universal thing spanning different continents and cultures. Idi Amin kicked out all the Indians in his country for a reason and so have a hell lot of other nations. If this many people and nationalities see Indians this way and the fact their country is a certain way, then there is definitely something you have to see beneath the surface.

How come you are so concerned about minority or lower caste rights in India? Are you that passionate or because it’s an example of human rights abuses outside the West. Or are you just trying to spite the neocons?

  1. Ryan lied about Obama being responsible for the Janeswille WI plant closure despite the fact that the plant closed before Obama became President.

  2. Random question to Mr Lindsay: do Latinas have big asses (booties) because of African genes or is it an Amerindian thing?

      1. Haven’t you noticed Latinas with backsides that are quite booty like? I’ve seen many sexy latinas on South American tv with quite bulging thighs and bums, more than what you see on European woman. Perhaps I will have to get some video evidence.

        1. They don’t have any African DNA. I know that in Mexico, they just like their women curvy like that, so a lot of the women just develop that way, mostly by gaining weight. We have Latinas all over this town, and they are more fat than anything else. They don’t have the prominent African breasts and buttocks on an otherwise slim woman at all.

        2. “They don’t have the prominent African breasts and buttocks on an otherwise slim woman at all.”
I don’t know about Mexicans but I’ve seen it on Brazilians and some others. Anyway, its a trivial issue. I’ll try to find an example sometime.
Seen la griffe’s new essay? You might be interested as you live in a Hispanic town. http://www.lagriffedulion.f2s.com/hispanic.htm

  3. I usually come off as a racist, but is anyone else as pissed as I am with the latino/black pandering in the Democratic National Convention? Every scene is some morbidly obese black woman with two swpl white guys with childlike faces nodding their heads at every word. And heavily indio hispanics prancing around.
Sandra Fluke…my god. A complete talking vagina. Feminist to the core – no wonder so many men turn to the republicans.
If the democrats man up, whiten up their act and promote a masculine, working man image, they’ll get more support. Because it looks like a public health clinic now. Kind of boils my blood.
Did anyone else notice how different the Latinos are in the democratic party and Republicans? Repubs really go big on the Cuban thing – and those same Cubans have far more Euro blood than the Mexicans democrats pander to.
Come on democrats! The cultural divide between the parties is at an all time high.

    1. @ Ishmael
I’m disgusted by the black/brown pandering engaged in by BOTH parties. While briefly watching the Republican convention, I saw a speech by a black woman who was originally part of Mitt Romney’s administration while he was governor in Mass. She was going on about how he promoted women in politics, increased their representation, etc.
I find it even more pitiful coming from the Republicans, because unlike the Democrats, they can’t even make it work.
I guess there are some who would argue that the presence of token blacks in the Republican party is targeted more towards white social moderates, who are fundamentally Republican, but would be iffy about supporting a blatantly white party.
Frankly, I don’t know if I’m going to vote in this upcoming election. The Republicans scare the shit out of me, and as someone who follows the U.S./Israel relationship, having the likes of Romney in the White House would be nothing short of a catastrophe. Not to mention Romney’s countless other flaws and warped views. However, I can’t support some black/brown pandering, SWPLized Democratic party either. As a self-respecting white guy, I just can’t. And there’s no viable 3rd party.
      What to do…

      1. I think the perplexing “What’s the Matter With Kansas?” type of voting behavior among socially conservative, working class whites has almost everything to do with social, racial, and cultural issues.
Keep in mind that up until the late 60s, whites in the Deep South were part of the New Deal coalition.
I don’t think they endorse the pro-1% platform of the Republicans, but they vote for the Repubs as a reaction to Democratic identity/cultural politics. Reactionary, in the literal sense of the word.
The problem is that the American left has increasingly abandoned economic issues and instead champions various culture/lifestyle related pet causes, which your average white Joe in Middle America can’t relate to.

      2. BAG – Hold your nose & pull the lever. You have a chance to vote AGAINST the greater of the two evils (Romney).
If you don’t, it’s de facto vote for Romney, if he wins. Until our stupid 2-party system is changed to PR, we all have no real choices. Vote for the one who will cause the least damage, the one you hate less.
Don’t be like my Libertarian friends (I have many). They say they would rather not vote or “protest” (like vote Nader, Paul, etc.) I can’t stand alot of Dem stuff- but I vote straight Dem (w/ one exception- Feinstein).

        1. The system is rigged anyway. I don’t know whether I should go for Paul or Jill Stein (I wouldn’t vote for Ralph Nader.)

      3. I wouldn’t mind splitting the country up into cantons or virtual mini states, according to cultural affiliation. It’s the only way.

      4. BAG,
Republicans do a much better job in ‘assimilating’ those minorities and keeping them more united (meaning acting white – Nikki Haley, Condi, Marco Rubio are well assimilated and got the act down to an art). Democrats really overdo the ethnic vibe. I don’t like that at all. Overdoing the Hispanic heritage or slavery all in the name of tolerance and equality is lame.
I think all of us agree that democrats are the lesser of the two evils in terms of policy. They’re not good enough, but its the best we got here. But they really need to work on their image and stop compartmentalizing genders, sexual preference and race and build a more united front like the Republicans.

        1. Yeah. I got emergency phone call from Busan. Had to get there or the earth would have blown up. I saved all your asses for another day.

    2. The Republican party is almost like the Democratic party lite. They’re always promoting women and minorities to show that they’re more inclusive or whatever. The Tea Party does the same thing. I doubt anybody would be talking about Allen West or Herman Cain if they were White.
Last week, I tuned in to the Republican National Convention on the night of Ann Romney’s speech and during the short time I was watching they had Nikki Haley, the Indian governor of South Carolina followed by the first lady of Puerto Rico. By then I turned it off and didn’t see Ann Romney. I’m not voting for her husband although I’d much rather have her as a first lady than the militant black nationalist/feminist we have now.
“If the democrats man up, whiten up their act and promote a masculine, working man image, they’ll get more support.”
Agreed. I don’t know where to find the stats on this but I’m pretty sure most White men vote Republican and most Republican voters are probably White men, yet the Republican party doesn’t embrace it’s base like the Democratic party does. Instead they pander to the Dem’s base with little to no positive results.
“Repubs really go big on the Cuban thing – and those same Cubans have far more Euro blood than the Mexicans democrats pander to.”
Those same Cubans have far more Euro blood than all the minority groups the Democrats pander to.

      1. I didn’t watch any of it.
I don’t give a shit about first ladies, because the cult of image and personality is killing the seriousness of US politics. If Howard Dean could have stopped the war in it’s tracks, Judy Steinberg would have made a fine first lady.

  4. If you don’t vote 3rd party then you are still part of the problem. Vote for Gary Johnson, vote for Jill Stein, but vote for somebody.
