Bigfoot News June 8, 2012

We will soon be publishing an earth-shattering Bigfoot article here on Robert Lindsay. This Bigfoot post will rock the Bigfoot world to its very foundations. The story will hopefully published within the next 24 hours, if everything goes according to plan. Hold onto your horses!* *Unfortunately, there is the possibility that the story will have to be canceled due to confidentiality reasons, but that possibility is slim at the moment and I hope it doesn’t materialize.

  1. With all due respect Robert, I think you should just wait until these things materialize. I understand the whole “hype” thing and all, but there are so many “breaking news” stories and such that never materialize for “confidentiality” reasons…that it seems like the whole thing is one big scam. Simply put, it’s costing you credibility. So again with all due respect, perhaps it might be better to wait until it actually happens before yelling it from the roof tops.
    Just saying…

    1. Well, if we publish the story, it will be fine. No credibility hits whatsoever. Absolutely not. I really think I am going to be able to publish this too. I am looking at this afternoon to run it. It’s not really a matter of being right or wrong here, more of an ethics issue.

      1. Yea…IF you publish the story. And IF the story is real. And IF what’s-her-name truly has a story in publication…and about a dozen other IF’s. That’s the problem here–everyone leaks little bits and pieces of things, only to then back-off later saying “she couldn’t release it for fear of not having it published,” or… “They lost the tissue samples,” or…. It’s really getting old.
The point is that becomes a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy: No one can release anything because it would jeopardize everything else, but by continuing to talk about “what might be getting released soon!” everyone stays all jazzed up. And then in the end (after all the buzz wears off), it’s fairly easy to let that particular development slip away. Then wait a while, and wait for the next opportunity to rekindle the rumor mill: Rinse, repeat.
As a scientist myself, I neither believe or disbelieve in the existence of Sasquatch. I need evidence to evaluate, I’ve seen some very compelling evidence that indeed supports its existence. But every time we hear about all the stuff that is in the works (but which never seems to materialize, for some reason), it detracts from the viability of any credible evidence that IS out there. It’s time to put up or shut up folks. If there’s hard evidence to support this DNA-related paper for instance, then let’s see it. If no one can talk about it, then let’s not talk about it. That’s how science is done. You don’t come up with something half way, and then let rumor and supposition build momentum. That’s NOT science…it’s tabloid fodder, IMHO.
Your mileage may vary, of course.

        1. There are no credibility issues and I just ran the story. It’s three graphics from the Sierra Kills. A full body drawing of the adult male from the Kills, a head drawing of the juvenile from the Kills and a photo of Bigfoot steak from the Sierra Kills!

  2. Well even if it don’t print, I still love you my Liberal Socialist friend. That’s a joke by the way so don’t ban me, “Please”. Just Friday humor.

  3. “BRING IT ROBERT” Yeah!….someone needs to tell us what’s goin on. We’ve just been hangin on by our nails for too long thinking the report is comin any day. Thanks Robert

    1. I can’t say right now what it will be about, but you should find it interesting. I think believers will find it interesting for sure. It is sure to stir up a wild hornet’s nest of debate on the Net.

  4. The suspense is killing me. Guess I’ll have to refresh this page every 5 minutes until my thirst for news is quenched.
Crossing my fingers hoping it doesn’t get canceled.

  5. Suspense killing me . I’m gonna take a WAG to kill time…
Smeja axially has the juvenile BF still. He took it with him.
