Racial Breakdown of the English Riots

I kept wondering what the stats were on the English riots, since the media did not seem to be doing a very good job of telling me. I did a bit of figuring on my own, but it wasn’t easy.

The riots in London are heavily Black. Nevertheless, there are many Whites mixed in. There are also some South Asians involved.

In Birmingham, the riots are very heavily Black and Asian. The Asian component is quite large. However, there are some Whites mixed in.

In Liverpool, the riots are mixed Black and White. There are many more Whites rioting here.

In Manchester, rioters appear to be 10

Looking through some photos of rioters from London and Birmingham on  British newspaper page, I was able to identify the race of 150 rioters (it was hard to identify race of many rioters since they tended to cover themselves in clothing from head to toe). Of those, 84 were Black, 55 were White and 11 appeared to be Asian. With some, admittedly, race was hard to determine.

Try the experiment yourself here.

English Riots

Race    Number

Black   84       5
White   55       3
Asian*  11

*Asians generally = South Asians (Indians,
Pakistanis, etc.

As you can see, Blacks are overrepresented among rioters by 23X (2,20

Just under 2/3 of rioters are Black or Asian, and  a bit over 1/3 of rioters are White.

Considering that only 5

The instances of Blacks randomly assaulting random Whites on the street, much played up by racist media, do not seem to be the norm. If the purpose of the riots was to attack Whites, why are the Black rioters not assaulting the White rioters who are rioting alongside them?

  1. Were you using the American or the British definition of Asian? Plus, plenty of British Asians can pass for white by American standards. Were they wearing track pants?

(I’m American, and everything I know about England I learned from Internet comments and Wikipedia.)

  2. I profess my ignorance. I didn’t think there were many black in London. The images us Americans get of London must not be accurate. Thanks for putting some interesting stats together.

    1. London is one hell of a diverse place. I spent some time there in 1994. Croydon in fact, where some of the rioting and looting has taken place. Entire parts of the city might as well have been Mumbai or Rawalpindi.

      1. Agreed. I was in London in 1996 and my hotel was in the area close to Hyde Park. When I stepped out of my hotel to go for a walk in the park, most of the people I encountered in the neighborhood were Middle Easterners. London is way more diverse than people think.

  3. With respect Robert, the fact that blacks are “only” 56% of the rioters in a country where blacks are a small percentage of the population is quite telling.

I know that many leftists are in damage control mode, trying to make this mayhem seem like some equal opportunity riot, with economic deprivation the common denominator.

But let’s be real here. Absent blacks and Pakistanis/other Southeast Asians, these riots would not be happening right now. Or if these riots were to still take place, they would not come anywhere close to matching the destruction and chaos that we’re currently seeing.

    1. “Absent blacks and Pakistanis/other Southeast Asians, these riots would not be happening right now.”

Not to got all Tim Wise on you but there might be other reasons for rioting.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_riots

But yeah, I do agree this is a black “initiated”. A lot like the L.A. riots in 1992 when the L.A. cops got off for Rodney King’s beating. In that one there were actually more “me too” Mexican looters than blacks. Or maybe about 50-50. I was in the middle of it. It’s a strange thing these riots, blacks and browns are not indiscriminate rioters, there’s an honor code even in the rioting. My black roommate at that time explained it to me. All the “nice” Korean liquour stores were saved from burning by the blacks/browns themselves. Those percieved as mercenary were burned. LOL. Having bought a lot of cigarettes from various Korean liquour stores in the area (I was a heavy smoker at that time), I say my roommates perception was “correct”. There was a convenience owned by some hard-ass Middle Easterners (who I really disliked), it burned down. Another owned by some surly asshole Koreans (I disliked), it burned down. One owned by a gentle, kind (really) Korean (I liked), it was saved. So was another store whose owner I liked. It’s a strange world we live in, yet it makes sense. If you’re mean, you burn. If you’re nice, you don’t. LOL.

        1. Well, generally speaking, if you’re nice and friendly with people, they’ll cut you some slack, and not burn your shit down. LOL

I’m pretty sure that the Korean woman who shot Latasha Harlins had her shop burned down.

    2. That is one way to look at it. By the same token though, by sheer numbers, far more Whites are rioting that “Asians.”

      Not that it matters.

In the U.K, people riot becuase they are shiftless assholes who want a free pair of Reeboks. In the Arab World, Spain, Iran, Chile, even China…People are righting for basic human rights. Go figure…

  4. Gay Area Guy
It depends what the motivations are behind these riots. Are they motivated by “racial inequality” or the dire state of the economy? If the latter is true, we passive whites have a lot to learn from our black brothers.

    1. I’d just say it is a result of the long-term social, economic and all around physical degradation of Britain. They are a nation of “has-beens,” in more ways than one.

  5. These riots amount to a redistribution of wealth. Basically the upper classes loot from people by doing scams within the system such as bankers and other sorts of stuff.

And these rioters are looting in a very open and honest way, essentially they are doing the same thing as the upper class scammers. One major difference between the two though is that the lower class people have been scammed by the government and those in the upper class and looted their whole life and so with these riots they really are just TAKING BACK WHAT WAS STOLEN FROM THEM.

        1. You’re aware that ordinary working people had their homes and livelihoods destroyed?

It’s so easy to sit back and talk about social justice, but if you actually lived here you’d realise this is nothing but opportunism. This isn’t the October revolution, it’s just work-shy little shites nicking plasma tellys. They burnt down charity shops FFS!

The other aspect you don’t understand, is that the police have more or less allowed this to happen. They just cordoned off the areas and allowed it to happen. Someone high up decided that after the first night in Tottenham it would be really useful if the country could get angry at these yobs, so they could justify new laws. Parliament was recalled a couple of days ago, see how this plays out and don’t just lap it up like everyone else.

    1. I sympathize with there need two stand up to police oppression. They day of the old “Bobbie” is long gone. The British police, and Canadians, have copied the American approach to policing all to well, with guns drawn.

      1. “Guns drawn,” or at least tasers drawn, seems a good way to sum up the American approach to policing.

I worry that the American approach will copy the British approach in its heavy use of surveillance cameras–and will also consider using tactics like this:

        http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/08/11/us-britain-riot-networks-idUSTRE77A20C20110811
(Reuters) – Britain is considering disrupting online social networking such as Blackberry Messenger and Twitter during civil unrest, Prime Minister David Cameron said Thursday, a move widely condemned as repressive when used by other countries….

        1. Amy and Cyrus
The rioters were specifically using BBM to organize the times and locations of the riots. It would be perfectly reasonable for Cameron tto shut it down to ensure the safety of British citizens.

        2. Non-rioting citizens were also using those networks to protect themselves–to let each other know which areas were unsafe, etc.

        3. Followup–UK not Pursuing Limits on Social Media

          http://www.cnn.com/2011/08/26/tech/social-media/uk-social-media/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

          Excerpt:
“….the government ‘did not seek any additional powers to close down social media networks,’ the British Home Office, the government’s home security department, said in a statement. ‘The discussions [between the British government and Internet communications firms] looked at how law enforcement and the networks can build on the existing relationships and cooperation to crack down on the networks being used for criminal behavior.’

Spokespeople for the British Home Office declined to provide additional details about whether it broached the issue of imposing limits social media.

The gathering took place about two weeks after British Prime Minister David Cameron suggested that the government should impose limits on the ‘free flow of information’ when it’s ‘used for ill.’ ‘When people are using social media for violence, we need to stop them,’ he said then.”

  6. And you believe that the rioters in the pictures are a random sample of the rioters because why, exactly? Isn’t it likely that the UK press, like the American press, tries to hide the color of crime? So, 56% seems likely to be an underestimate.

  7. To Bay Area Guy:

I’m pretty sure that the Korean woman who shot Latasha Harlins had her shop burned down.

Actually supposedly it wasn’t… but they did stop carrying liquor. So one might want to revamp the rioters algorithm to .. “doesn’t carry liquor and/or run by nice people..”

    1. BAG, UM,

Don’t get me wrong. Blacks killed dozens of Korean store owners in robbery and thefts before Soon Ja Du killed Latasha Harlins. I believe it is still the first and only case where a Korean store owner has ever killed a nigger, er, black freedom fighter leading the new revolution. When dog bites man it’s not a story, when man bites dog, it is. The LA riots were so rotten in so many ways. But Koreans got the worst of it. More than half the total damage in the biggest riot in US history was Korean. With whitey media showing all the looters where the police weren’t. But I don’t blame whitey for the crimes blacks committed against Koreans. Just whitey police, media, and white liberal hand-wringing, and white effeminate thinking (yeah, white women who have incapacitated the white male’s ability to deal with black criminality). Korean’s deserve some blame to. Some (not all) were mercenaries in black ghettos with no sense of community of belonging and very racist to top it all off. But still in the end its the blacks and Hispanics who did the looting, burning, and killing. The worst that Koreans did was open businesses in poor neighborhoods. Fire back when shot at. For which LAPD started a (under the radar) program to disarm Koreans after the riots. LAPD doesn’t like to be shown up, you know.

      1. It’s very interesting that you celebrate the demise of YT sometimes, but at other times berate YT for not protecting you from the customers you cheat and abuse.

        1. To thanhktYT:
It’s very interesting that you celebrate the demise of YT sometimes…

In real life I suspect Hacienda (aka Gods and Monkeys..) actually has some White friends… and probably hangs out more often in majority White areas over majority Black areas… but he seems to love being a troll with some people here who are at best WN-Lite.

at other times berate YT for not protecting you from the customers you cheat and abuse.

As for cheating customers, people don’t have to shop at Korean, Yemeni, Chinese, etc stores. I mean gee … they could shop at a Black owned stores, can’t they…..? Hacienda does sound like an enabler in some of his posts but I think he knows the score.

        2. “Haiti produces better music than that.”

No, it doesn’t. Be serious. Kpop. The only pop music form capable of spanning the globe for ALL people, baby. Not just your kind.

        3. “Hacienda does sound like an enabler in some of his posts but I think he knows the score.”

I’m something of an enabler. What does that mean, though?

        4. “It’s very interesting that you celebrate the demise of YT sometimes, but at other times berate YT for not protecting you from the customers you cheat and abuse.”

Let me answer this a little more seriously. I blame LAPD for the riots because LAPD simply refused to do what what police do- enforce the law. They basically withdrew until the National Guard was called in the 3rd day of the riots. It’s basic knowledge about the riots. And I was in the middle of it. I saw how the police responded. One reason the police did not enforce is that they were scared shitless. There were a couple female cops in unit that would not approach buildings that were being set on fire because there were random gunshots going off. This was on 6th St. near Vermont. There was smoke everywhere. I saw the fear in their eyes. Beyond those two, I saw no police anywhere in the area of Koreatown and I walked and drove through Koreatown on the first and second days of the riot.

I blame the media because they televised where the looting was occuring and televised to everyone that no police were protecting the stores or were anywhere near the stores. This had the effect of increasing looting. And they reported it with a kind of excitement of schoolchildren that are watching a playground fight. That’s was the maturity of local news in L.A. at that time.

WRT my celebrating YT demise. Yeah. That’s a blast for me. I gotta admit. But I still love YT.

There are a lot of other complexities to it, like biased reporting before the riots, the lack of

        5. Hacienda, the police are not soldiers. I lived through the riots to(more or less), and the notion that Law Enforcement is anything more than the local governments paid thugs and enforcers is a farce.

They rely purely on your societal fear of authority to comply.

A single company, or even damn good platoon of competently trained infantry could route and defeat the entire 10,000+ LAPD in a days fighting. Without any fancy weapons deployed. Just basic infantry weapons.

It all comes down to military discipline. Something cops utterly lack. They are bullies, not warriors. They will flee at the first chance of real death.

        6. I know the police isn’t the army. But LAPD had an opportunity to quash or at least reduce the rioting at the start on Friday night when a mob started torching palm trees downtown. This was being broadcast on the TV stations. They could have stopped that mob right then, but didn’t. I think it was just a deliberate decision, a kind of finger given in your general direction by LAPD for 3 days.

  8. Dear Robert
First, blacks may be 2% of the population of the UK, but they are a higher percentage of the population of large cities.
However, let’s use your percentages. Then blacks are even more overrepresented than you calculated. We have to to divide 56/2, 36/92 and 7/4. This gives us 23 for blacks, .39 for whites and 1.75 for Asians. Blacks are therefore 23/.39 = 58.9 times overrepresented relative to whites. Asians are 1.75/.39 = 4.9 times overrepresented relative to whites.

    Regards. James

  9. Obviously, the exercise is next to useless since you can’t use the flawed sampling or the standard of determination of race.
There’s alot of Indians, mullattos and arabs in England, and they’re dark-skinned.
Also, the videos are obviously not A: Well lit or B: in high resolution.
Race is simply not a factor in examining the nature of this uprising.

  10. The current social situation in Britain may provide some insight on the validity of popular theories of group attainment and inequality. On the one hand, it seems that a key if unspoken tenet of the HBD/bio-determinist perspective is that white people are bound to construct and maintain productive and dynamic societies because that is what is coded in their genes. Long exposure to the challenging environmental conditions of Europe has rendered inhabitants of the region highly intelligent and altruistic, such that social problems are limited and there are few barriers to material progress. Social and cultural structures are important of course, but ultimately they are largely a reflection of the group’s biological makeup.

On the other hand, the traditionalist/conservative perspective (initially developed by Burke) emphasizes human fallibility and the fragility of social order. Any society is vulnerable to falling into a depraved and chaotic state unless time-tested social relationships and cultural routines are carefully maintained.

White Britons have often been considered the cream of the crop of the European peoples. However, serious social dislocation(e.g. educational disadvantage, deterioration in family structure, rising crime and hooliganism) is increasingly evident in this population, perhaps giving weight to the Burkean perspective.

  11. Race smase. The differences are superficial. There is no predetermined propensity for any specific behavior. It’s an attempt to explain humans thru simplification, and that’s always fraught with error.
I don’t even consider psychologists to be worth a bucket of spit. It’s a scam.
They can take college courses and get a shingle but it’s just alot of hokem smokem to enable lazy people to make large salaries for sitting down and avoiding heavy lifting. You cannot map the human psyche, whether by profiling or using so-called “racial differences”.
You always hear about the feds using profiling to catch up with serial killers…what they don’t tell you is it really doesn’t work. Never did.
Humans are too complex to label or categorize. We are too complex to figure out. There is no “formula”.

  12. So you’re too complex to be an “American.” You’re really at best a “citizen of the world.” Everything else is subject marking. But see how far that gets you in the long run.

  13. To Dano:
Humans are too complex to label or categorize.

Hmmm, well I can tell women from men and 10 year old children from adults.

    1. I agree with Dano. The point of labelling people is to make them more weak and vulnerable not to help them.

      1. To Gay State Gay:

I agree with Dano. The point of labelling people is to make them more weak and vulnerable not to help them.

All humans label one another and have done so forever…..there are times of course when those labels are derogatory and meant to dehumanize…the words untermensch and n*gger (albeit the latter has become a popular phrase to the formerly disaffected…) come to mind.

  14. Ever considered the possibility that the British establishment might have actually let the riots erupt to this level as a means of collecting data as an experiment to see patterns of social unrest when the real economic collapsed happens?

It seems totally illogical for the police to have so little force given Britain’s history of riots and the governments lax attitude to a fairly small group actually coordinating the riots with Britain being a quasi police state with CCTV cameras everywhere.

I would not be surprised if this was a test for measuring what might happen in the US in the future overseen by British and US specialist working for some government alignment private think tank.

We know through George Soros that Britain and the US specialise in overthrowing foreign governments using youth groups and social networks so we know they are specialists in this field.

    1. “”Ever considered the possibility that the British establishment might have actually let the riots erupt to this level as a means of collecting data as an experiment to see patterns of social unrest when the real economic collapsed happens?””

Or perhaps this might serve as an excuse to boost police and state powers which is a step towards totalitarianism.

      1. Or perhaps this might serve as an excuse to boost police and state powers which is a step towards totalitarianism.

        That Dota, I agree with.

        1. @Dota & Cyrus

Police state actions are only implicated when the entire system has collapsed and they can no longer maintain control which will happen when the bailout money runs out and the economic system finally collapses.

The influx of immigrants and promotion of a multi-ethnic society itself was a means of control by the British imperial regime so no one ethnic group would come to the foreground and challenge the establishment like how the prison system in the US is constructed with the mixing of different racial groups so they are easier to control monitored by CCTV cameras like the open air prison system of British society.

British hypocrite PM Cameroon wants to shutdown social network fuelling the riots while the same country that engineered and perfected the system of colour revolutions supporting mobs that consist of armed fighting units against countries targeted for regime change used the exact same social media networks.

  15. I like this quote making it’s way around the net about modern Britain a lot. Pretty much sums it up. At least to the EDL losers. 🙂

Your car is German. Your vodka is Russian. Your pizza is Italian. Your kebab is Turkish. Your democracy is Greek. Your coffee is Brazilian. Your movies are American. Your tea is Tamil. Your shirt is Indian. Your oil is Saudi Arabian. Your electronics are Chinese. Your numbers Arabic, your letters Latin. And you complain that your neighbor is an immigrant?

    1. Anglos are the most worthless, greedy, arrogant, has-been group of whites on Earth. They are also the most philo-Semitic. Go figure….

    2. With respect, Cyrus, there is a HUGE difference between food, ideas, movies, and PEOPLE.

For example, people in Japan may like jazz music to a certain extent, but that doesn’t mean they want millions of whites or blacks living by them.

I may like getting a quesadilla or some fried chicken strips every now and then, but that doesn’t mean I want a bunch of barrio border jumpers or DeShawn’s living in my neighborhood.

      Big difference.

By the way, what’s your avatar?

      1. Also, pizza and coffee do not commit disproportionate amounts of violent and sexual crimes. They also don’t demand that the native Brits bend over backwards to accommodate them. Etc.

        1. Most of the proportional violence ironically, seems to be committed by Blacks. Of course, the White’s themselves may be of various European minorities as well. Irish, Poles, whatever. Don’t know.

Funny thing is, the Blacks seem to have a real problem with the “Asians,” it would appear. In this case, the Muslim ones.

          http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-14501967

It sounds like from what I hear on the BBC and NPR, that U.K “Asians” of various sorts are having to defend their businesses against mobs of Black and White “hoodlums.”

Oh, the times we live in.

        2. Personally, I’ve never considered Indians or Pakistanis to be “Asian.”

At least when Americans use the term “Asian,” they’re using it in a racial sense, and the term “Asian” primarily refers to yellow people of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian, Filipino, etc extraction.

(though of course, many members of Southeast Asian groups like Cambodians and Filipinos are not exactly “yellow,” but that’s another story)

But yeah, when people refer to Asians in casual conversation, they don’t mean Indians or Pakistanis. When they do refer to Indians or Pakistanis, they specifically classify them as Indian or Pakistani.

        3. Ever actually been to the U.K before, BAG? Pizza and coffee are the least of there problems. Hell, when I was in Scotland, the Scots could care less about the “Pakis” that Americans love to hate. It was the Eastern European immigrants that were making there life a living hell. Forcing them to “bend over backward,” so to speak.

Step out of the post 9/11 clam-shell for a second. The world just got way more complex.

        4. As for the definition of “Asian,” I would say the English definition is more accurate. The American term is politically correct bullshit, substituting the term “Asian” for “Oriental.” Asian being a term that nobody in East Asia for the most part would have even heard for, circa 1900, or even comprehended.

People form the Near East and South Asia are more probably defined by it, and the English have been interacting with both groups in one form or another…Hell, since the crusades.

        5. Ever actually been to the U.K before, BAG?

As a matter of fact, I have.

I spent most of my time in England, particularly London.

And I can tell you, that there were times when I thought I was in Islamabad or Kingston.

I’ve also been to Dublin, Ireland, and could have sworn for a second that I was in Lagos.

Step out of the post 9/11 clam-shell for a second. The world just got way more complex.

Personally, I could give a fuck about 9/11. I also have no problems with Muslim Americans.

However, based on my own travel and what I’ve read about the European scene, Muslims in Europe are indeed a serious problem.

Of course, as Dota has pointed out, ethnicity plays a bigger role than religion. If most Muslim immigrants to Europe were educated Iranian professionals as opposed to turd world Pakistanis, Algerians, or Somalis (yes, I know, bringing up Somalis is in bad taste in light of the recent tragic famine, but one could have easily said the same thing beforehand).

As far as I’m concerned, the “Muslim problem” in Europe is really a race problem.

So yes, Cyrus, the whole “evil Muslim” boogeyman narrative that has been shoved down our throats since 9/11 is shortsighted.

But let’s be real here. Eastern Europeans are the least of Northwestern Europe’s problems. Yeah, I saw some Poles and other Eastern Europeans throughout my European travels. But they’re nowhere near as problematic as Pakistanis, Nigerians, West Indians, etc.

Sooner or later, these Eastern Europeans can assimilate and blend in. The same cannot be said for the other groups I’ve mentioned.

        6. @ Cyrus

I figured complimenting Iranians ahead of time would inspire a more favorable response to my post. 😉

          Just kidding, we’re pretty cool.

But anyway, my point stands. I’m not going to lead a chorus of cheers for Eastern Europeans or violent Scots, but they are not the ones responsible for Europe’s racial and social tension.

        7. Then BAG, you see it really as either a “race” problem, or more accurately, a problem of foreign cultures and peoples coming to and radically changing the already ancient cultures of Europe, which have an inherent right to maintain their distinctiveness, and not be regulated through immigration into the dustbin of history. I suspect a person’s physical look matters less than their overwhelming culture, norms, attitude, dress, accent and worldview to you, yes?

Well, that is all fine and well. The problem is, everything in this Western world has been scene through this fucking stupid post-9/11 lens. Case in point. The majority of rioters in the U.K by proportion are non-Muslim Blacks. That is a fact. Yet, the extreme focus is on anything attached to the word “Islam,” yes? If non-European immigration is creating such problems in Europe, how does focusing on an a particularly diverse religion solve the problem? Especially when you consider that a percentage of Europeans(I know, small, but still there) are Muslim to begin with? Hell, I remember having to step of Bosnian refuges in Germany in the 90’s, as they sat homeless in the streets. They were just as European by birth as any Bosnian Christian. Am I right?

So, what it really comes down to is foreign, non-European immigration, changing the landscape, with people from various Muslim countries being large in number(and perhaps not having the biggest interest in “conforming” for the most part, as opposed other groups that were successfully colonized by Europeans in times past, Christianized, etc.)

        8. I suspect a person’s physical look matters less than their overwhelming culture, norms, attitude, dress, accent and worldview to you, yes?

Cyrus, don’t get me wrong, I recognize that culture is important. If all foreign/non-white elements in Europe were to completely 100% assimilate, change their names to native European names, and completely shed their previous identities, their presence would be less bothersome for me.

          But…

          1) That ain’t gonna happen

          2) As any kid on campus will tell you, looks do matter. When I think of a Brit, I think of someone who looks like Michael Caine, not Idris Elba. When I think of a German, I think of someone who looks like Hans Schmidt, not Mustafa.

(although since Turks are a Caucasian/white looking people, if they changed their names and tried to blend in with native Germans/completely assimilate, they would be okay in my book)

          Etc.

Yes Cyrus, I do agree that culture is important and that if it weren’t for foreign elements corrupting native European culture, there wouldn’t really be as much of a race problem per se.

But, still, my point stands. When I thin of a European, I think of someone who LOOKS European. Same thing with Asian countries like Japan. I consider Japanese those who look Japanese, not Jared Taylor (even though he’s familiar with the culture and fluent in the language).

And yes, I do consider Bosnian Muslims to be rightful Europeans like any other.

        9. @ Cyrus

Your point about the ridiculous anti-Muslim hysteria following 9/11 is also well taken.

As I’ve said before, I have no problem with Muslim Americans and generally try to avoid Islam bashing because it goes along with Zionist/neocon rhetoric.

          Re: Fascism in Europe

Aside from three specific countries (I don’t think I need to list them), while Europe has a history of xenophobia (and of course, they’re hardly unique in that regard), I wouldn’t say that they exactly have a habit of “fascism.”

          Fascist ELEMENTS, absolutely.

But is there going to be a final solution against Muslims in Europe anytime soon? Not likely.

At the most, there will either be mass deportations, or more likely policies that lean towards forced assimilation. The anti-burqa/anti-minaret laws come to mind.

        10. Gay Area Guy
People obviously can’t control the way they look, and it’s unreasonable to expect people to completely shed their past identity but it can only be cultural not political. They have to become part of the society that they live in. Most of the British blacks were from the West Indies so they already spoke English and had English names.

        11. While I’m against open borders, we can not have a white only immigration policy like Australia had.

        12. we can not have a white only immigration policy like Australia had.

          For practical reasons, no.

Still, say what you will about the “white Australia” policy, but it worked. Australia has enough racial problems as it is today (though certainly not as many compared to the U.S. or Europe).

Just imagine how much worse it would be had Australia not enacted its “white Australia” policy and had instead opened the floodgates.

        13. Most of Australia’s domestic problems have been with Aborigines. Most Australian immigrants have been East Asian or Indian and they have not caused many problems.
They also would not allow a Jewish state to be built in Western Australia, Pity because it would have solved a lot of problems. Australia and Canada both let in many Iraqi and Palestinian refugees to make up for that (boo.)

      2. Well, the Brit’s spent a few centuries “making the whole world England.” Now the whole world has come to England, to make the English “them.”

The Brit’s don’t get much sympathy from me. Other Europeans, yes. Not the British.

        1. Fair enough.

Though of course, I’m still not exactly thrilled about the influx into Britain, for obvious reasons.

However, I would modify a part of your statement. The whole world hasn’t “come” to Britain.

The British have let them in.

Of course, that is ultimately their fault/problem.

        2. @Bay Area Guy

Well Britain is the centre of international terrorism with the head of the Muslim brotherhood in Syria who is causing havoc over there leading terrorist brigades supported by Turkey and Israel living in London so it is time they reap what they sow with the London riots being well overdue.

      3. BAG:
By the way, what’s your avatar?
        BAG’s question to Cyrus.

Cyrus’ avatar is Al Pacino. You guys like Italians.

        1. Who is this “you guys” you are talking about, Uncle Dick Breadth? I personally can’t stand Italians. Period. Dumbest goddamn European immigrants this country has ever seen.

        2. Yah. The “American” variety. You know. The kind that can’t speak a lick of their “own” language, and thinks TV gangster stereotypes are somehow a real facet their culture.

          Idiots.

        3. “Yah. The “American” variety. You know. The kind that can’t speak a lick of their “own” language, and thinks TV gangster stereotypes are somehow a real facet their culture.”

Americans are all like that especially it seems the Irish Americans who have been in America for generations.

Most of the support for the IRA came from Irish communities in the US.

        4. @GSG:

I’m sure that there are a lot of good American Muslims but haven’t met too many humble ones in political or cultural/religious settings. Even Arabic Christians can be pretty ethnocentric, even though they tend to be pretty assimilated (think Helen Thomas.)

Consider that a “Mediterranean/Middle Eastern” trait. Cultures from that part of the world are not known form being “humble.” Religion be damned.

I had pretty good relations with Pakistani and North African muslims as long as I avoid talking about Islam.

Those guys are my favorite targets to piss off. Their worldview is so centric, it is pretty damn easy for my to screw with them. An example of Islam’s extension of Arab chauvinism.

You Jewish folks have a variation of it. 😉

      4. Oh, and that is Al Pacino’s character, from the motion picture “Heat.” All us “Angelenos” tend to love the film, and that is one of the better scenes in it.

        1. @Cyrus

          Where are you from exactly?

I thought you were originally from Iran but I think you said before you were not or am I mistaken?

        2. Well, given into the fact that I just said I am from Los Angeles…Well, that would make me an American, of the “Californian” variety, now wouldn’t it

Sort of like our friend Mr.Lindsay, here.

        3. @Cyrus

“Well, given into the fact that I just said I am from Los Angeles…”

What comment did you say that?

Why were you defending Iran and Islam in the past then if you don’t have any direct connection?

        4. Defending Islam? Yah, right…Look buddy, I like to think of myself as living in the “reality based community.” I do not like Islam the religion, and see organized religion as an affront to my intellectual faculties. I don’t need some aging pedophile or the hapless village idiot explaining to me, “why” things are the way they are. That being said, “Islam” ain’t about to take over the world. Sharia law is not about to forsake the constitution in bum-fuck Kentucky, and Europe’s racial and immigration fault is of it’s own empirical making, both past and present. Not some Islamic conspiracy to make everyone bend over and face Mecca five times a day.

        5. I agree with Cyrus
I am not a fan of Islam and feel but I feel the attacks against it are unfounded and its attackers (Schlussel, Gellar, Rubin) are unsophisticated and actually do more harm than good. More sophisticated and intellectual criticisms from more moderates (Wilders, Pipes) just come off as redundant and it is clear that these critics obviously have ulterior motives.

        6. Gay Area Guy

They are the new-age brown shirts.

More sophisticated and intellectual criticisms from more moderates (Wilders, Pipes) just come off as redundant and it is clear that these critics obviously have ulterior motives.

          Wilders is more sophisticated? 😀

Pipes tries to come across as the “concerned intellectual” of course, but he’s views are no different. These are some seriously poisonous and dangerous people. The irony is, that their message will ultimately have far more long term effect in Europe, with it’s inherent xenophobia, tendency toward fascism, lack of a history of cultural “mixing.” Effectively, the Muslims are being inadvertently set up as Europe’s “new Jews,” now that most of the poor Jews were wiped out, circa 1939-45.

This calculated killer in Norway last week is really just the tip of the iceberg.

        8. Cyrus
When I said Wilders and Pipes were more extreme I meant that Muslim children are generally off limits for them but for those other pundits children seem to be fair game.

I don’t like the terms Islamofascist, it comes across as unsophisticated and anti intellectual.and unoriginal. you can’t paint all Muslims with the same brush. That is the antithesis of who we are. But by that same token I also oppose the term Islamophobia as a blanket term to describe any cultural conflict with Islam.

Jews aren’t so chauvinistic, they just love to be the focus of attention. They like to see themselves as central to humanity, in any which way. I think Abe Foxman is just upset that most Americans are simply indifferent to Jews.

        9. @Cyrus

“That being said, “Islam” ain’t about to take over the world.”

The British/US lead NWO is supporting the new anti-Christ Turkish Empire to expand backed by Israel who are attacking Syria via Muslim Brotherhood terrorists and threatening it with military intervention and rapidly expanding its influence.

As usual my prophecies are coming to fruition.

The Jewish supremacists who support every Islamic separatist cause apart from Palestine obviously are hyping up the terror/Islamic threat because they don’t want Muslims forming political unions/parties with leftists backed by wealthy Mid East business interests putting real pressure on Israel as US foreign policy in the Mid East.

  16. To Dano:

Uncle milt you made strawman arguments.
No Dano, you just threw out an unsupported opinion… and I tossed out a quick response to your poorly presented thesis.

    1. Fool yourself if you want. You don’t fool me.
You used a classic strawman. I was talking about using race to conclude that someone or a group will behave in a particular way, such as being more prone to impulsive behavior, more prone to hate…anger…over-active libido, etc…or the ability to perform well on a standardized test… No one said anything about the difference between a male and a female or a nepalese and a viking.
      Straw…………..man.

      1. Dano,
I was talking about using race ….
I make no claims about biological determinism in regards to race but in regards to culture and group dynamics one can certainly seem similarities within groups. The Gestapo were much more brutal than the average British soldier in WWII but it was sometimes possible for the British soldier to be as brutal as a Gestapo agent.

  17. To Cyrus:

Who is this “you guys” you are talking about, Uncle Dick Breadth? I personally can’t stand Italians. Period. Dumbest goddamn European immigrants this country has ever seen.

Whoa Cyrus.. hold on… BAG uses Joe Pesci as his avatar and you use Al Pacino as yours… both are Italian American actors n’est-pas..? Hence I made the statement that you guys (you and BAG..) like Italians.

(I responded to BAG before you responded to JohnUK.. so I didn’t know you used Al Pacino’s photo because he was in the movie Heat..)

As far as Italians go.. I personally would have been very happy to date Sophia Loren in her prime… Monica Belucci…Isabella Rossellini… etc..

    1. Ah, I see. I thought you meant it as some kind of “ethnic” thing.

Those women you like my friend, are REAL Italians. Not the low class redneck trash from Long Island, that thinks frozen spaghetti and a VHS of “Good Fellas” is a means of getting in touch with their Italian roots.

      1. Boy, you should have seen the Italians at my majority-Italian Canadian highschool. They acted so “Italian”.

  18. This coming decade is going to bring a LOT of changes in the world. Unbelievable changes. It has already started. I don’t expect Muslims to end up taking cyanide showers, but if the Balkans is any indications, it could get really ugly for anyone with that label. Of course, the majority of Muslims still have the “Muslim” world to run to, at least to an large extent. The “Muslims” of 2011, for whatever that means, are not the European Jews of the 1930’s’, by any means.

    1. @ Cyrus

      Agreed.

There won’t be trains to Auschwitz, but it’s definitely going to get a lot uglier from here on out.

      1. Yah, and there is something like 1.2 billion of “them.” Killing seven million Muslims, is like killing seven million Chinese. They probably won’t even notice. 🙂

    2. I think it’s not just the Muslims that will be “getting it” — it may very well be every non-white group (at least most). BAG, you’ll likely get what you’ve always wanted: the end of immigration from largely Muslim and third-world regions of the world. I may call whites pansies, but even they have a threshold of tolerance.

This whole 2012 doomsday scenario will be nothing more than a revelation. Things will simply be done differently. The West will also become more protectionist.

        1. Cyrus, the east rising is a big reason of why I believe protectionism seems inevitable. As if Japan, with its “technology”-based economy, wasn’t a big enough force to be reckoned with, imagine a country with the potential to achieving the same feat, but ten times grander. How could these Western cope?

Quite, frankly I think they gave Japan too much leeway to become the relatively protectionist economy that it is today. In the days when that country was rising, East Asians were still seen as inferiors. I’m sure they’ll try not to make the same mistake with China. It’s a different era with a different mentality.

        2. Well, the Western nations are trying to sell “security” to China and the rising East. Something tells me the Chicoms won’t tolerate that for too long…

Simply put, there is nothing the West can do. The East makes everything. The West increasingly makes nothing. Imposing impirical “security” on the Chinese, would be like the U.K trying to singly handily force it’s military will with the U.S.A or U.S.S.R, post WWII.

As for the Europeans, well, if they want to “rid” themselves of non-Europeans, it would be funny to see what they would do to their various China towns in that event. 🙂

On another note, it isn’t just a diametric shift in power between the East and West that is unfolding right now, either.

        3. Yea, they’ve dug themselves a big hole, but I can’t see how they couldn’t do anything to curb further deterioration (i.e. possibly bringing most outsourcing to a halt). Plus — what are you saying? — that without the East, the West can’t build electronics and other high-tech items? I think that’s far from the truth, although it may seem more true year after year. They still have those expertise; some protectionism could promote the development of some lost industries to some semblance of what they once were.

And, also by protectionism in regards to non-whites, I didn’t mean deportation per say, although I’m sure illegal immigrants and immigration will be getting a lot of that. Th West will make their immigration policies tighter. Very tight. The legal Chinese and other East Asians immigrants are probably the most secure group; Muslims and blacks are the least.

        4. Then it boils done to which “Asians” and which “Muslims.” Fucking with Chinese nationals? Really bad idea. Kicking out the local Thai-town or banning the local Little Saigon? No biggie.

Likewise, dealing with Algerians or Pakistanis is one thing. Giving multi-billionaires from the GCC a rough time in the Eurozone during these hard economic times? Fucking stupid.

Those “Muslims” are not as defanged and helpless as you might think. Certainly not a “united” civilization, like the “West,” but then again, nor is the “East.” Certianly recent European pipe-dreams of reconstituting oil resources in North Africa to cock-block Chinese and Iranian developments in Africa in general, without Uncle Sam’s support or blessing, has been less than spectacular. Dealing with the peripheries of even the Arab World, for example, is very different than dealing with it’s “guts.”

Dealing with the “Blacks,” as you put it, is interesting. Physically easy to send packing, but then you run right smack into “white guilt.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

      1. The blacks are mainly from Caribbean nations which are British territories and white citizens of British territories, including Canada, Australia, SA, and NZ typically are allowed to work in the UK, so legally I can’t see why blacks shouldn’t be offered that same right.

        1. Yea, good point. Immigration will be tighter. More effort will be placed on curbing the flow of the less educated and professional immigrants. Don’t black Caribbeans generally fall into that category, probably more so than any other immigrant group?

I’m not saying they won’t let blacks or any other foreigners into their countries. It’s just that they are going to be more meticulous — fiercely so — in their selection process to the point where only a few are selected, rather than the hundreds of thousands each year. I can see family reunions being a lot harder to obtain.

You gotta admit, current immigration policies in many of these countries are generally very lenient and laxed. It won’t be like that anymore. Ultimately, all immigrant groups will suffer one way or another, but none more so than blacks (especially those from the Caribbeans) and most Muslim groups.

        2. @Car Guy

”You gotta admit, current immigration policies in many of these countries are generally very lenient and laxed”

Actually in Scandinavian countries like Norway and Denmark immigration is very strict.

Shamir noted that a women from the Caucasus who had a degree and a job and lived in Norway for 10 years could not Norwegian citizenship and in Denmark if you are married to a Danish women that does not guarantee you citizenship.

        3. @Car Guy

“What about Western and Northern Europe as whole on average?”

Nearly all of them are internal economic immigrants from the new EU countries. In Britain it is predominantly Polish.
The concept of the Polish plumber is even popularised in European and Polish media.

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd8oX5NJt84

Muslim immigrant like the Pakistanis came during the 60’s and 70’s.

        4. What can I say, like you guys have suggested, it’s not going to be easy. Yes, cheap labour is in demand, but one advantage the Poles (and other foreign European groups) have over, say, Carrebean blacks and South Asians is that they’re part of the EU. When cutbacks are being made and when quotas are being reduced, wouldn’t that association give Western European politicians enough leeway to provide preferential treatment for Eastern and Southern European immigrants?

Colored immigration being largely replaced white immigration? Not that colored immigration would cease completely…it’ll just be less significant. A lot less.

      2. Yes, but then, which “Muslims?” You are treating the term like it is a race or ethnicity, as many White Europeans and Americans do.

Keep doing that long enough, and those “Muslims” just might start seeing themselves in such a way.

        1. Cyrus
The more vocal Muslims already see themselves as a collective group. They do more damage to Islam’s name than white conservatives.

        2. Which Muslims? Definitely not the average Iranian Muslim. There, happy?

          Just kidding.

Anyways, like I said in my earlier comment, every foreign group will be scrutinized. Those with the highest proportion of uneducated and unprofessional immigrants will suffer the most.

But, you and Gay State Girl are right…they can’t just single-out a certain group to kick-out without looking unfair.

  19. Another comment on the Islam bashing; as Cyrus pointed out some time ago a lot of the Muslim bashers have sketchy credentials. Walid Shoebat comes to mind as a lot of people have looked into his background and found him to be a fraud. This has a tendency of making moderate Muslims who would critique Islam become more reactionary as it further deepens the impression that the west is out to get Muslims. No good can come out of this.

As usual my prophecies are coming to fruition.

Oh Jeez, who pushed Johnny boy’s prophecy button now?

    1. “Oh Jeez, who pushed Johnny boy’s prophecy button now?”

It is all in scripture for which only the learned person can decipher that being the Bible not some gobblty gook written in the Koran.

    2. Hey, attach the world “Muslim” or “Islam” to anything or anyone, and you’ve got a green light to exploit. Doesn’t even matter if Islam is involved, or not.

      1. “Hey, attach the world “Muslim” or “Islam” to anything or anyone, and you’ve got a green light to exploit.”

Oh please! spare us the BS Muslim persecution syndrome especially since they are the ones doing the persecution who are given preferential treatment and constitute a pillar of the NWO by the regimes occupying Washington.

Muslims in Britain want to enact Sharia law in Muslim areas will the riots pave the way for this?

A muslims was killed during the riots will this be the call for jihad?

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5CZ_AVyRzg

        1. If Muslims can impose sharia law in their neighborhoods in Western countries, can we SA expats start our own mini apartheid regimes in our new countries?

        2. @Gay State Girl

You mean like Kosovo, Bosnia, Chechnya, Xinjing or any other of the anti-Christ regime Big Evil (US and Britain) can bring about in there NWO?

Whites don’t deserve safe havens or their own communities seeing how they are to wimpy to defend there own territory with the exception of the Israeli settlements.

Look at these chicken shit English who act all brave when the rioters have dispersed and the police have gained control.

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6p4itkdLi8

          PATHETIC!

Seems they can’t fight when they are not using predator drones or using Islamic mercenaries.

        3. I do oppose certain Orthodox practices like shechita (kosher slaughtering) and circumcision of infants but halakhic law is not a threat to the Western World. They have no power in the government or the business world or media. Gay Area Guy says he considers secular liberal jews and neocons to be a bigger threat.

        4. I do oppose certain Orthodox practices like shechita (kosher slaughtering) and circumcision of infants but halakhic law is not a threat to the Western World.

Oh, but Sharia is? A video of a handful of some Paki tards in the U.K is hardly proof of the upcoming takeover of Western civilization. Hell, they are the least popular amongst even their fellow Muslims themselves.

          http://original.antiwar.com/vlahos/2011/08/16/muslims-smash-right-wing-stereotypes/

        5. I never said sharia was a threat. Westerners would never allow it. But the majority of American muslims I have tend to be very vocal and passionate about. They like to wear their religion on their sleeves and intimidate non muslims. Cowardly leftists typically defend their behavior. In contrast, Jews have never expressed an interest in making Halacha the law of their land. They intimidate strictly on political grounds.

        6. I never said sharia was a threat. Westerners would never allow it.

Yah, and the majority of folks from Muslim countries wouldn’t want it.

But the majority of American muslims I have tend to be very vocal and passionate about. They like to wear their religion on their sleeves and intimidate non muslims.

You seem to have a real problem with getting “intimidated.” Major character flaw, perhaps?

Lets put this another way. Who are these “Muslims”? Where are they from? Are they converts? I personally do not view American converts as “Muslims.” Rather, they are members of yet another new American religion/cult.

As for wearing one’s religion on their sleeve, I remember that next time I see a Rabbi or Buddhist monk walking by.

Cowardly leftists typically defend their behavior. In contrast, Jews have never expressed an interest in making Halacha the law of their land. They intimidate strictly on political grounds.

Those cowardly leftist are the reason you even have a right to vote, you moron. Let alone having a legal

As for “Halacha” being the law of the land, Jewish fanatics would love for it to apply to their fellow Jews. It already does at the civil family law level in New York.

        7. Cyrus
The secular/religious conflict in Israel is more complicated than what meets the eye. The secular do their share of provocation as well.

The Orthodox are not a problem outside of Israel. The secular Jews tend to be more vocal and in your face about their jewishness when they are in the presence of non jews. Google the doucheberg. The ultra orthodox tend to keep quiet about it in the rare event when they are in the presence of non jews.

I have met some mellow Muslim Americans who may well be sincere muslims but keep quiet about it. But the majority I have met have been eager to share their faith with everyone whenever they get the opportunity. The militant muslims are typically South Asian or African. Arabs tend to be more humble about Islam but become militant whenever the Palestinian situation is brought up.

I loathe the neoconservative bloggers/pundits. I find their attacks on Islam unsophisticated and uncultured. But by the same token, I don’t like the cultural marxists (who I referred to as “leftists in an earlier post”) who fawn over Muslims and those Muslims who have adopted the persecution syndrome. There is no comparison to the the treatment of Japanese Americans during WWII and the treatment of American Muslims today.

      2. “I personally do not view American converts as “Muslims.” Rather, they are members of yet another new American religion/cult.”

Sort of off the subject, but an excellent point. It could be applied to almost any American convert to “exotic” religions. In an American context, Islam (or Buddhism, or Jainism, etc.) is wildly unconventional. But it isn’t unconventional in Saudi Arabia. So the personality types exemplified by an American convert to Islam and a devoutly Muslim Saudi would be quite different. I’ve seen this myself. My old girlfriend (white, of Irish/German descent) is a Buddhist and connected herself to a Chinese American Buddhist community that contained a small number of other white converts. The Chinese are mostly upwardly mobile, highly educated professionals. The whites are virtually all odd people who’ve never been able to quite get their act together until they “found it,” whatever “it” is. And the two groups are always at cross purposes. Not so much in conflict, but more like just not getting one another. Let’s just say they’re separated by a common faith…

      3. I have met some mellow Muslim Americans who may well be sincere muslims but keep quiet about it. But the majority I have met have been eager to share their faith with everyone whenever they get the opportunity.

The one’s you know to be Muslim, of course. I grew up around Shia Muslims, i.e the “Shia.” I cannot speak for the “Sunni World” with any authority, because for all intents and purposes, it is a different religion in many ways and practices. For Shia Muslims, the notion of proselytizing is considered “ugly,” and actually offensive to the religion. This attribute may have been a direct result of the Shia having largely lived as minorities within the Sunni world. Better to lay low. Sort of like the Jews in many cases, Christians in Muslims lands, etc. The current Iranian government has tried to “mainstream” their position within the “Muslim World,” but they will always be seen as outsiders. Sort of like the Mormons in Christianity.

The militant muslims are typically South Asian or African. Arabs tend to be more humble about Islam but become militant whenever the Palestinian situation is brought up.

We can thank Saudi money and influence for this. Once again, people in need of “identity” are succumbing to this. South Asians, African-Americans, etc.

There you go with “Muslims” again. Lets put it this way. The Japanese were treated pretty well here in the United States, compared to how White Americans were treated in Japan during the war(think decapitation). I also don’t hear people fretting about San Francisco’s “Little Italy” being cleaned out in 1942, just like what had happened to the Japanese. Hell, most of the Japanese that were interned, were Japanese nationals! It was a world war! What the hell did they expect?

I hold the same view for a “Mosque.” A terrorist asshole was a member? The Mosque should be shut-down, and EVERY member thoroughly questioned by the FBI. After all, by attending the Mosque, you were in some fashion flirting with the enemy.

As for Muslims…Who cares. You want to wear your religion on your sleeve, expect to get fucked with. My problem has to do with the bigotry towards anyone who looks “Middle Eastern,” i.e like the people who attacked the U.S on 9/11. It is the conflation of race with religion. With Islamophobes treating Islam like a race, and successfully programming Americans to think in those terms, they have played right into the hands of Salafists types, who also see themselves as a “race” as well. Who want that distinction. Even more so than Evangelical Christians.

They U.S may see itself in conflict with “Muslims,” but it is Middle Easterners that they hate.

During WWII, only the Japanese were interned in concentration camps. Not the Chinese. Not the Koreans. Not Filipinos. Today, you could argue that people from forty different countries are feeling the effects.

If we have another major event in this country, it will be interesting to see how the American public will react, and how they discern between groups, etc. They already seem incapable of doing so. In my experience, A Egyptian Christian, Persian Jew, atheist Turk, Shia Muslim Pakistani and Zoroastorian Indian…Are all the same. Hell, I’ve even seen Israelis on the receiving end of this.

        1. @ Sandman/Cyrus

Very good comment. At least for Americans, I think all this “Muslim” crap is insane.

Hell, I’ve even seen Israelis on the receiving end of this.

Too bad such antipathy doesn’t extent to cutting off aid and overall support for Israel.

        2. Well Said Cyrus.

And thank you for posting that link. Muslims simply don’t get credit for tackling the extremist elements within their circles. I’ve lost quite a bit of respect among Pakistanis in my town because of my staunchly anti-Wahabi views. Pakistanis succumb to Wahabism because they lack any other identity, especially a racial one since they despise India and Indians.

And as far as Sharia goes, since GSG can’t let it go, most Muslims really don’t care. If Sharia courts are of those optional non binding type, then most Muslims (including myself) would support them (although I doubt I’d use em myself). But I haven’t met a single Muslim that wishes that Sharia was the official law of the land. I can’t tell if GSG is just fear mongering or is just grossly misinformed.

          If only…

        3. I never claimed they were interested in instituting Sharia law nor that discrimination against middle easterners is not an issue. But some self identified Arab Americans or American Muslims (notice I said some not all) seem to think that entitles them to a special status. Inayat Bungawala has said Muslims are the “new jews.” But many people are victims of prejudice for various reasons and do not try to reap the benefits of being a “victim group.”

  20. ‘This is a sick society’
    August 13, 2011 – 1:57PM

Monika Konczyk, as pictured on her Facebook page.
A woman who was forced to leap out of her burning home after it was set alight during the London riots has described English society as “sick”.
Polish national Monika Konczyk, 32, said she came to Britain five months ago seeking a better life — but nearly lost it during the disorder that devastated London.
In an interview with the Sun, Konczyk said: “I came to England because I thought it was a great country full of kind and gentle people.

“I thought London was a civilised society full of gentlemen and ladies — but it is not like that. England has become a sick society.”
A picture of Konczyk jumping several metres from her first floor window into the arms of police in Croydon, south London, was one of the defining images of the unrest.
It was taken as gangs of masked youths and rioters ran amok in the suburb on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The Poundland shop assistant added: “I found myself jumping for my life after being attacked by thugs and thieves. They set fire to my building without any thought for anyone’s safety.
“They were happy for me to die. They were like animals — greedy, selfish animals who thought only of themselves.”
The mother-of-one said she became trapped in her rented flat above a shop just metres away from the historic, 144-year-old Reeves furniture store which was razed during the unrest.
“I am shocked to find people behaving like this in England. It is not what I expected of the English,” she said.
“I have never seen anything like this in Poland. Polish people are hard-working and respectable. They believe in working for a living, not stealing from others.
“If you want nice clothes or a new TV, you don’t smash shop windows and loot them — you work and pay for them.”

    1. The rioters probably got pissed off at the new Eastern European immigrants are coming into their neighbourhoods and owning all the local businesses and jobs.

        1. “I have never seen anything like this in Poland. Polish people are hard-working and respectable. They believe in working for a living, not stealing from others.”

Why the hell did you come to Britain then, were lazy and genocidal and damn proud of it.

          @Cyrus

”You being a Scot ought to know about that, yes”

There was an Iranian immigrant who opened up a Muslim sex shop but it went bankrupted when it turned out that his Muslim sex dolls took a month to blow up. Lol!

Not that you would be interested seing how you have no relation to Iran or Islam being a 100% born and bread American.

Yes, I do believe that is the fucking dumbest post I have ever seen on the internet.

Not that you would be interested seing how you have no relation to Iran or Islam being a 100% born and bread American.

Why is it every Scottish motherfucker I have ever met, is dumber than dogshit? Is it genetic with you people? For fucks sake…

  21. Yes that may be true but the Black population in London is much greater than 2 percent and the rioting started after the death of a BLACK MAN . So you would expect Blacks to be the majority of the rioters given that they
believe (whether the belief is true or false) that his death was racially motivated.
In 2006, about 10.7 percent of London’s population were Black.

        1. True, and Los Angeles, by sheer population, is the second largest “Mexican” city in the world, right after Mexico City. It is one of the reasons that New York now has taken the title as “most diverse” city in the U.S. The Mexicans and Chicanos swung the pendulum so much in their direction, it swamped out everyone else.

  22. No, the mob is not 100 percent niggers, but the niggers are at least 50 percent. How many are niggers in the UK, two, five percent?

    1. Please dont use the word “Nigger”, it is racist. Either use Afro-English if you are referring to Black people born in England or African-American for American Blacks.

      Thank you.

      1. Joe:

Please dont use the word “Nigger”, it is racist.

Hoff is weirdo who basically has a racial slur or anti-semitic statement in almost every one of his posts. I would suggest ignoring the guy.. since it is unlikely he will stop using racial slurs.

        1. “Please dont use the word “Nigger”, it is racist.”

But if hoff IS an actual racist, why should he stop using the word? It expresses himself. Possibly hoff is not a racist at all and just like the attention it brings, then is the use of the word “racist”?

        2. Lindsay
It’s true that jews and Scandinavians share a lot of foods. I was walking through the IKEA mini mart with my senile old grandma and upon noticing all the Swedish delicacies like herring, lox, blini, mandel bread etc and of course she had to scream that those delicacies were not Swedish but Jewish at the top of her lungs.

  23. “”If Muslims can impose sharia law in their neighborhoods in Western countries, can we SA expats start our own mini apartheid regimes in our new countries?””

If you cant tell the difference between non binding family laws and aparthied, perhaps you should reconsider debating here.

  24. To Dano:

Race is simply not a factor in examining the nature of this uprising.

Uprising against what…? If it is not about race (which from the reports from the British press it sounds like it isn’t … ) I would be inclined to say it isn’t an uprising. Against the rich…? And how many wealthy neighborhoods were sacked and looted…? I would guess almost none… maybe some higher end retail areas because that’s where you have more precious loot but it seems like more a theft and burn festival. You really think the rich (as in the top 1/100 of society..) had any of the neighborhood’s or haunts even threatened…? The police who cuts their paychecks.. as usual it looks like these riots damaged mostly working to middle class neighborhoods.

      1. To Rob:
They did raid one of the fanciest restaurants in an upscale London neighborhood and stole everyone’s wallet.

That’s why I used the qualifier mostly…I have read that the large majority of damage was done to lower to middle income areas.

  25. “If you live a normal life of absolute futility, which we can assume most of this week’s rioters do, excitement of any kind is welcome. The people who wrecked swathes of property, burned vehicles and terrorised communities have no moral compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame.
Most have no jobs to go to or exams they might pass. They know no family role models, for most live in homes in which the father is unemployed, or from which he has decamped. They are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries.
They are essentially wild beasts. I use that phrase advisedly, because it seems appropriate to young people bereft of the discipline that might make them employable; of the conscience that distinguishes between right and wrong.
They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.
Their behaviour on the streets resembled that of the polar bear which attacked a Norwegian tourist camp last week. They were doing what came naturally and, unlike the bear, no one even shot them for it.
A former London police chief spoke a few years ago about the ‘feral children’ on his patch — another way of describing the same reality.
The depressing truth is that at the bottom of our society is a layer of young people with no skills, education, values or aspirations. They do not have what most of us would call ‘lives’: they simply exist.
Nobody has ever dared suggest to them that they need feel any allegiance to anything, least of all Britain or their community. They do not watch royal weddings or notice Test matches or take pride in being Londoners or Scousers or Brummies.
Not only do they know nothing of Britain’s past, they care nothing for its present.
They have their being only in video games and street-fights, casual drug use and crime, sometimes petty, sometimes serious.
The notions of doing a nine-to-five job, marrying and sticking with a wife and kids, taking up DIY or learning to read properly, are beyond their imaginations.”
