US and Israel: Two Settler-Colonial States

The American people could turn on Israel anytime they want to, but they won’t do it. Why? Because they don’t want to.

I think it is because there is deep love of Americans for Israel because they are both settler-colonial states.

Despite all of the browbeating about anti-White PC studies coming out of our schools and universities, Americans have never really apologized or felt bad about our settler-colonial past, and we should feel bad about it. Instead, we are still in denial about it, and most White Americans apparently still think our settler-colonial past was a great thing. This is one reason why we identify with Israel.

  1. More than that: the American settlers explicitly identified with Israel. Some explicitly referred to America as the New Israel. Look at some of the names of American cities and towns: Hebron, Bethlehem, Zion, Gilead, and many, many others. That pro-Israel theology still lives in evangelical Christian denominations.

There have been books written about this.

  2. Americans have never really apologized or felt bad about our settler-colonial past, and we should feel bad about it. Instead, we are still in denial about it, and most White Americans apparently still think our settler-colonial past was a great thing.

Sorry Robert, but based on my own experience, I completely disagree.

Paul Craig Roberts was right when he called the U.S. a self-loathing country committed to a tower of babel.

    1. At this point, the “settler nation” charge is primarily a weapon used by elites and wannabe elites to wage class war against working and middle class whitey, NOT to help the previous North American inhabitants. Assholes like Tom Hayden advocate “the peaceful, nonviolent disappearance of the white race” but are clearly unwilling to start with themselves, or give away their immense wealth to salve their guilty consciences.

For that reason I just don’t give a damn anymore. I was over the “settler” insult when I started seeing it from upper middle class Asian immigrants like that blogger Zuky. It’s all about their own will to power. Fuck ’em.

Americans have just been guilt-tripped into caring about Israel. Watch enough YouTube videos of snotty Israelis and you won’t give a damn about them either.

      1. I have to agree La Fleur, the more I hear about Israel, the less I like it (mostly because of my America first policy) though the Flotilla fools along and the PSM make supporting Israel seem appealing.

      2. I was over the “settler” insult when I started seeing it from upper middle class Asian immigrants like that blogger Zuky.

Good point, Lafleur. Whether they want to admit it or not, middle/upper middle class Asian Americans are living on stolen Indian land just like white Americans are.

I find it amusing how upper middle class non-whites think they’re exempt from settler status solely on account of being non-white.

Well, they too are enjoying the benefits of living on Indian land.

        1. But those immigrants never conquered the land. They emigrated to a land which had already been conquered. I don’t like the constant guilting either, but there still is a difference here.

        2. I disagree. They chose to come enjoy and benefit from what the hated settlers built here. The “settlers” jibe is applied to all white people, regardless of when their ancestors arrived. The majority of white Americans are descended from more recent immigrants. The idea that the descendants of Italian and Polish Ellis Island immigrants are guilty “settlers” when those of non-white voluntary immigrants are not is ridiculous.

        3. Push comes to shove, there really isn’t a difference. A white kid born in the 90s or 21st century is not a conqueror. “Conqueror” status doesn’t magically pass down from generation to generation.

So yes, for all practical purposes, a middle/upper middle class Asian American/Asian immigrant has the same relation to the land in the 21st century as a white kid.

Likewise, even historically, not all or even most European immigrants were “settlers” or conquerors. Italian and other European immigrants who moved to New York city moved to a place that had “already been conquered,” and yet their descendants are tagged as “settlers” by leftists.

As Lafleur pointed out, it is bullshit when upper middle class Asian immigrants like Zuky attack whites as settlers.

They get to enjoy the benefits of living on stolen Indian land and a middle class North American lifestyle, but somehow don’t have to feel bad about that fact.

I find it especially amusing when Asians of Taiwanese descent give us this whole “settler” bullshit (is Zuky of Taiwanese descent? I know one of those Asian CRT bloggers is). I mean, hullo, it’s not like Han Chinese people are exactly indigenous to Taiwan.

        4. They chose to come enjoy and benefit from what the hated settlers built here.

The Chinese role in building the transcontinental railroad notwithstanding (and it’s hogwash to think that the Chinese, and ONLY the Chinese, played a role in that), it was ultimately white people who carved this country out of the wilderness.

No white settlers/no white people, no first world Western country called the United States of America (the menial labor contributions of non-whites notwithstanding).

No white people, and the North American landscape would be a pseudo-stone age land, which most Asian immigrants like Zuky would not desire to move to.

So yes, if Asians like Zuky want to bitch about whites being settlers, then they also need to give up enjoying the benefits of living in a 1st world Western country that these hated white settlers created.

To be clear, most Asian immigrants and Asian Americans are not like Zuky, at least based on my own personal experience. But of course, it’s always a small but loud minority that gets the attention.

        5. And while Zuky is at it, he can also give up the free speech that enables him to bash white people the way he does, a right which was not created by Asians, I can assure you.

        6. The majority of white Americans are descended from more recent immigrants.

          Exactly!

As I pointed out to Dota before, they too arrived in “land already conquered,” and yet the settler slur is still applied to them.

As far as I’m concerned, the “settler” slur is nothing more than an assault on ALL white people. The implications of the settler slur are obvious.

Since whites are illegal settlers, they have no legitimate claim to this country, and have no right to protest when they’re flooded with non-white immigrants.

It has nothing to do with actually helping the American Indians, who most anti-racists don’t really give a shit about.

        7. “And while Zuky is at it, he can also give up the free speech that enables him to bash white people the way he does, a right which was not created by Asians, I can assure you.”

Saying bad things about other people has always been a part of Asia, and practiced freely. “The right” to say bad things as written done in a centralized document is a whitey innovation. Big fucking deal. You got anything better?

        8. “I mean, hullo, it’s not like Han Chinese people are exactly indigenous to Taiwan.

I always found that funny about Taiwan as they are as racist against the Han Chinese as the Japanese were (and probably still are) in mainland China prior to WW2 despite being recent decedents of Han Chinese.

I wonder what would happen if Cuba did get rid of Castro and Communism. Would the heavily Cuban areas of Florida become a de facto greater Cuba like Kosovo is to Albania?

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=086I2Mm8Xpk

“I, the Kosovo Liberation Army fighter, in the name of the people and the future, take a solemn oath to be faithful to the liberation battle, firm to the end, and ready to give my life, in every moment for the liberation of Kosovo and all the occupied territories until they are finally united with Albania.”

I doubt Cubans including those in the US would be happy for it to be a vassal state and likely follow the same pattern as other countries with privatisation and all the industry being sold off at fire-sale price’s to Jewish billionaires.

That would be a good topic for Robert to cover “Cuba without Castro and Communism”.

        9. You really wanna go there, Hacienda?

I mean, for starters, we only invented the modern world and created 1st world societies that Asians such as yourself desire to live in. The fact that you and I are conversing in English, and not Korean, is alone a big fucking deal.

        10. “I mean, for starters, we only invented the modern world and created 1st world societies that Asians such as yourself desire to live in. The fact that you and I are conversing in English, and not Korean, is alone a big fucking deal.”

No, we are not going to go there. Because this is going to get into who owes who what. Who inherits and what is inherited That ends up just waste of time. You’re the one who pushed the issue first. “The right of speech” invented by whitey bullshit.

        11. No, we are not going to go there. Because this is going to get into who owes who what. Who inherits and what is inherited That ends up just waste of time.

Fair enough. This matter is hereby closed.

Interesting too that Asians have adopted Western music and mastered it to perfection but produce little of their own in proportion to their large size. With their 117 average IQ, you’d think they’d be churning out all this great music.

On a side note, I found clips of Asian kids playing Jerusalem of Gold on youtube

        13. Oh you’re right. I heard one of the provinces does, and that China overall is ~107. It will continue to decrease if China keeps producing few of their own homegrown females and importing than from Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, the Central Asian Republics and the Indian subcontinent.

        14. “Interesting too that Asians have adopted Western music and mastered it to perfection but produce little of their own in proportion to their large size. With their 117 average IQ, you’d think they’d be churning out all this great music.”

Gay girl you’re as good looking as you are saucy. You’d be quite the dish.

But really, I’m sure Kulture plays a huge part in it. I’ve also heard Korean classical music is about as refined a music as you’ll find. I just don’t think Asians do Western classical music composing well for any number of reasons. Not their sweet spot, you know. Just isn’t seen as a vital part of Asia. And why would it be? And what crippled whitey in 2011 gives a shit about classical music anyway? Do you?

        15. “But those immigrants never conquered the land. They emigrated to a land which had already been conquered. I don’t like the constant guilting either, but there still is a difference here”

If I steal a million dollars, and you take 100 thousand dollars from me knwoing that I stole the money originally, is it alright because you aren’t the one who stole it originally? Are our laws against possesing stolen property (even if you aren’t the one who stole it directly) illegitimate?

      3. Hacienda
I’m not gay, I’m a gay stater, though I guess it is somewhat dated as gay marriage is legal in six states now.

        1. “I’m not gay, I’m a gay stater, though I guess it is somewhat dated as gay marriage is legal in six states now.”

I know, I meant gay as in happy. Gays are actually a small percentage of population, taking up much too much of political consciousness of the US.
I default believe that most people aren’t gay, even if they act gay. It’s funny looking at 1970’s disco on Youtube. A lot of kids assume all disco singers are gay, like the Gibb brothers, when in fact they aren’t and at that time, they were regarded as kinda sex objects. LOL. Your generation is seriously fucked up.

  3. There may have never been a formal national apology, however much has been done to address the many injustices that the natives have suffered, atleast here in Canada. I won’t deny that what was done to the natives was shameful, but I will say that many positive steps have been taken to accommodate them into the growing economy. Sad part is that the Israelis keep using this as an excuse to continue with their ethnic cleansing program. I suppose their morality is about 200 years behind the rest of the world’s

  4. Dear Robert
Nearly every state in the Western Hemisphere is a settler state. Haiti is an exception. Yet, only in Canada and the US is there widespread sympathy for Israel. That suggests to me that the root of American and Canadian sympathy for Israel lies in protestantism rather than in its colonialist past.

    Regards. James

    1. “Nearly every state in the Western Hemisphere is a settler state. Haiti is an exception”

I guess it depends on what you’re calling a settler state. There are areas where people aren’t descended (at least not tottally) from europeans. Bolivia comes to mind and has an indigenous president. Paraguay is a mestizo country with an indian language as a coofficial language. Guatemala and much of central america are mostly indian or heavily indian mestizo (although the majority doesn’t always rule). There are other black carribean states like Haiti, but they are products of colonial rule, not products of throwing it off. I also don’t really know what I’d call French Guinea in this conversation. Maybe just a colony? Puerto Rico too.

As I said, I think it depends on what you’re calling a settler state. If you can call a state with high miscegination (like Mexico) a settler state, couldn’t we also call Turkey a settler state? Again, another (maybe former) Israeli ally.

      1. The US and Canada support Israel because they are prosperous and have large jewish populations. This could be said about certain Latin American countries as well, but they also have significant Arab/Muslim populations. I agree that Israel has better relations with Protestant nations and cooler ones among Catholic states, but religion is less relevant in the modern world (Latin America is an exception.)

“”If I steal a million dollars, and you take 100 thousand dollars from me knwoing that I stole the money originally, is it alright because you aren’t the one who stole it originally? “”

Good point, however I’m not sure if the analogy is appropriate. Possession and acquiring stolen property is one thing, as that possession is seen as personal. The state owns the land and resources in trust, and the state is comprised of the people, including immigrants. We’re comparing public ownership versus private ownership here. It’s a tricky issue.

I have another question for you and Bag. BaG points out that most whites today are decendents of immigrants from Europe who arrived in the 1800s and later (Irish, Poles, Italians ect…). If this is the case, are the original English settlers a minority amoung whites?

    1. If this is the case, are the original English settlers a minority amoung whites?

Probably. I don’t have exact statistics, but that definitely seems to be the case.

WASP’s are definitely a dying breed. The myth of WASP dominance has grown all the more tiresome.

      1. I agree that WASPs are a dying breed. Sure they exist but I have never met anyone who embraces their WASP identity as immigrant groups do. Phil Weiss talks a lot about conflicts with jews and WASPs and the “WASP elite” while he was at Harvard in the ’70’s, but I just haven’t seen it. There just aren’t that many WASPs in the first place (I guess that’s one thing I got the Irish Catholics to be greatful for:)) and joining the DAR and embracing pre Revolutionary family history is almost stigmatized where I live.

        1. Weiss is totallt bulshitting. WASPs are the most philo-Semitic bunch of white Gentiles (and probably among all Gentiles). They’ve been kissing kike ass ever since Cromwell let them during the English Civil War.
1970’s? Kike please!! Jews have had it made in Americuntia ever since they landed.

        2. Chinese and Koreans are very philosemitic as well…

I am more against Phil for his views on multiculturalism. You know that I don’t give a rat’s ass who marries who, but Phil gets all warm in his pants whenever he sees or hears of an intermarriage.

        3. Why did you not include Japs in there? And where did you get the impression that Chinese and Koreans are philo-Semitic? It’s probably just an act. We admire you for certain similarities (education, family) but deep inside we know the danger that you venomous snakes pose.

    2. “including immigrants”

Which would include more recent ones from Asia.

We could extend this even further. Blacks were certainly forced to come to the southern US, but if they move out west, to say California, then they are taking advantage of the conquest. Even natives. A Navajo who lives in Arizona is living on his ancestors land, but one who moves to New York is taking advantage of the conquest to go places he never could have gone otherwise. I’m not going to say that this ability outweighs the conquest (not by a longshot), but I believe it is a correct point.
