If this bill turns out like I think it will, it will go down as one of the worst bills in the past 50 years, or possibly even longer.

Lay out the case for bills that have been worse than this one which have passed Congress in the past 50 years.
My case that it is one of the worst bills in 50 years is that this bill begins the slow death of America.
It is the most deadly bill ever passed for Social Security, and it should begin the slow murder of Social Security. What’s amazing is that a Democratic House, Democratic Senate and Democratic President, all supposedly liberal (!) past the bill that began the murder by torture of Social Security. The entire US media and the entire pundit class is on board for the slow murder of Social Security. Does that make sense? Does the pundit class and all of the US media really want to kill Social Security? Why? I thought it was a popular program.
This bill is fiscally insane. Almost all of the same slime who voted for this filthy bill are also screaming about the debt and the deficit. If there’s a debt and deficit crisis, why did you just pass one of the most fiscally irresponsible bills ever passed? I don’t get it? Do they care about the deficit or do they not.
The only conclusion is that both parties, including “liberals,” the entire US media across the board and all of US punditry, is on board for a conspiracy to deliberately create a debt crisis in the US in order to use this crisis to destroy the US government financially. That means that most Democratic liberals in the US Congress are not liberals at all. What are they? I don’t know. I guess even liberal Democrats are now what used to be called moderate Republicans.
The bill will deliberately create a debt bomb, and then the maniacs will use this bomb to start destroying the state. Obama’s State of the Union speech will lay out the case for the murder of the state’s finances.
A. I expect Social Security cuts to come soon as a result of this bill. I also expect to see disability rolls being scrutinized, with major efforts to throw lots of people off disability, as Reagan did early in his Administration.
When Reagan first came in, his team went through the disability rolls and started throwing people off right and left. Most of the people they threw off had cancer! Many of them could barely walk or get out of bed, but they were thrown off! Yet a poll 5 years ago said that 53% of Americans say Ronald Reagan is a hero. Barack Obama agrees. Reagan is Obama’s hero. Obama is apparently a Reaganite.
B. I expect cuts in Medicaid coming soon as a result of this bill. I know folks on this program. Most doctors don’t even take it, and you have to shop around all over to find someone who will take it. Chiropractic care just ended, and so did dental care. A Hell of a lot of Californians are going to lose their teeth now.
The program is already cut to the bone. How can you cut it further? Yet they will. Even fewer docs will take Medicaid, and I expect medication cuts for Medicaid coming soon. So the poor will have to go without their medicine, and a lot of them will sicken and die.
C. I don’t know if this bill will be used to begin to murder Medicare, but it would not surprise me.
D. I expect cuts in all of the rest of US government programs, except the military, as a result of this bill. This is not good, and furthermore, it is not necessary either. This will be a catastrophe in slow motion across America.
The Social Security payroll tax cut is almost certain to be made permanent. This will for sure begin the slow death of Social Security. I hope I am wrong! What I don’t get is that AARP and the rest are apparently on board for killing Social Security. What’s going on? This will exacerbate the problem in A. if the general fund is raided to make up the difference, as Obama promised to do, then that will exacerbate the problems B-D.
The cuts in the inheritance tax will almost surely be made permanent, and it’s quite possible that the tax will be ended altogether. This will exacerbate all of the problems in A-D. I hope I am wrong!
The tax cuts for the rich will in all likelihood be extended again, and I am almost certain that they will be made permanent. This is fiscal madness and will exacerbate all of the problems in A-D.

This is because most Americans are total dipshits. Most would probably even deny that many of the things you list even happen. They probably even believe that nonsense about Reagan ‘winning’ the Cold War.
