After Obama’s Tax Cut Compromise, one of the worst pieces of legislation in 50 years, passes, as it will, Darth Vader Obama will go on TV to deliver his horrible State of the Union address. Guess what it will be about? Deficit reduction! After the defeat of Obama’s Cat Food Commission to Destroy Social Security, Obama can’t take no for an answer. He keeps trying to ram his evil plans down our throat.
This Tax Cut Bill is really a way to reinstate his thwarted evil Cat Food plan. The bill will deliberately create a Social Security crisis and deliberately create a deficit bomb in the budget, costing a gaping $900 billion in only two years. Then we will have the Obama Deficit, which Obama’s compromise is designed to create. The only way to deal with the Obama Deficit is by taking an ax to programs.
In his State of the Union outrage, Obama will talk only about deficit reduction and emphasize that the only way to deal with it is by taking an ax to Social Security and Medicaid. As you can see from this article, Medicaid is already on thin ice and going under fast. It doesn’t need one penny cut out of it, for Chrissake! At the very least we need to hold the line on more Medicaid cuts. Optimally, we need to strengthen Medicaid.

Liberals can be kind of repulsive too. In addition to the cultural Marxist PC, their idea of forced integration of classes ie (compulsory public school attendance, the welfare state, where much of the government money is spent on frivolous things) and their general bias against religion makes them repulsive. I’m all for wealth distribution, but individual people should choose how their own money is spent not the government. What is happening in Sweden right now should be considered unacceptable by anyone’s standards.

If you’re talking about immigration and multiculturalism in Sweden I agree. If you’re talking about egalitarianism then that’s nonsense. The egalitarianism that occurs in Sweden is not modern at all. It has deep roots in Sweden’s society, and I believe it’s even pre-christian in origin to some degree. Culture and history are very important to evaluating the economics and poliitcs in an area. Personally, I don’t like american attitudes on economics at all. I remeber when the Enron scandal hit and I saw a program where they talk about some of Ken Lay’s spending. One thing he bought was a shower curtain that cost 600 dollars. It hilarious that some people think that the government giving poor people insurance is government waste, but would never even consider calling a 600 dollar shower curtain, a 10th summer home, or fake breast implants as waste of money.
I have really begun to despise people who believe in a lot of right wing economics. My uncle told me recently about a man he grew up with who was mentally ill. The man couldn’t live on his own so he had to live with his parents. After his parents died he went to a place where they cared for mentally ill people. Then Reagan came and cut the funding for helping the mentally ill. The man became homeless and one winter night he froze to death in a parking garage in downtown St. Louis. There are actually people who defend this kind of action and they are garbage. They are the type of scum who would vote for Sarah Palin. I hope when Sarah Palin is out filming her stupid show in Alaska a fucking bear eats here. Fuck her.
I am referring to the general anti religious sentiment in Sweden and the Swedish government’s intrusion of religious institutions. It’s now illegal to homeschool your child and the parochial schools are heavily regulated by the government. For example, the government wanted to shut down an orthodox jewish school in Gothenburg, Sweden because it segregated boys and girls.

Yes, but the much more free market american state has even more. In reality, no state is perfect. All have some flaws.

In Europe, healthcare, geriatric care and education are much more affordable than in the US but the governments can decide who is eligible for what. Europe has some very good affordable public universities, but the US has a wider variety of public and private universities and specialty and trade and anyone who is interested in pursuing higher education can get it provided that they pay for it themselves. But in Europe the government can decide who is eligible for higher education or healthcare and geriatric care (I don’t proclaim to be an expert on healthcare). So what about someone who is determined to be “ineligble” for higher education? Why must their taxes go towards educating others in elite universities and state of the art facilities while they work dead end jobs? Lindsay maybe you could enlighten us.
The US also has a good affordable community college system that will accept anyone and allows for tranfer to more prestigious schools so those who did not succeed in high school or those who went to an under funded school or immigrants or those from poor neighborhoods can always move up the social ladder. In Europe, your secondary school placement will determine your social status and you’re stuck there for the rest of your life. In the US, someone who dropped out of high school, for whatever reason can attend community college and then transfer to a more prestigious school and eventually go on for a graduate degree, in Europe, one has to take an exam just to gain acceptance to many secondary schools.
