Leanne Holland, a beautiful 12 year old girl, was murdered in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, in 1991. A man who lived with her family at her home in Goonda, Queensland, Graham Stafford, was arrested and convicted of the crime on what seemed to be good evidence at the time. He served 15 years, proclaiming his innocence the whole time.
He was finally released on appeal by a judge who decided that he was likely innocent. Based on new evidence, it appears that Stafford is innocent of the crime and the killer instead was another man, known by Leanne, who lived nearby.
He was an informant in the case and may have killed another 12 year old girl in the area two weeks later. He had crime scene photos of the death scene and his daughter is now accusing him of committing the crime. His daughter also said that he tortured her as a young girl in the same way that this girl was tortured.
Leanne had been tortured to death, in some cases sexually, by the killer. The killer was apparently a sexual sadist.
The photos have caused a lot of controversy and a lot of people want them taken down. They have not yet been removed.
You can’t really see that much in the photos. Mostly just looks like a child’s corpse in the woods, but she’s mostly clothed.

Hi Robert, Leannes family lived in a downstairs flat and Leannes sister’s boyfriend lived upstairs with a mate. The rumours going round at the time had threads to a satanic cult that was using a cemetery in Ipswich for its satanic meetings had killed her too. They say she was carved down the chest in a cross shape, had been bashed in the head by a hammer type object to stop her screams and then not only raped but sodomised. My daughter was a close friend of hers and never at any time were any of her friends interviewed as to her whereabouts. The kids were full of discussion over this young girl. All theories and gossip that could be told was and at no time did anyone think oh she’s white so we must worry. I agree with you about that viscious web site, since all this has been in the news again all it has done is send my daughter into anger and misery over the fact that this guy could still be around doing this to other girls. Sharon Tate was another that went missing without a trace around Ipswich road. In the seventies it was murder rapist who was killing people along the Old Gold Coast HIghway. He took the life of a girl I used to lunch with at The Princess Alexandra Hospital her name was Gabrielle Jenke.
I can’t fathom the waste of human life in todays society and I am not saying just the 2000’s but since I was a girl there have been so very very many. Some of these people could have changed so many people lives for the better.
No way…..leave angles alone…who murdered her cold case uncovered…re trial required. Who used his car that day…how do they know what day she was murdered all needs to be obvious to public not horriable photos
