Ethnic Nationalism: Good For Jews, Bad For White Gentiles

Condemning Zionism as a racist inhuman ideology similar to Nazism only makes sense if you are a non-racist or an anti-racist. It doesn’t make sense if  you are any kind of an ethnic nationalist or bigot yourself. This is why most of the Arab critiques against Zionism fall flat. Islamists and Arab nationalists of course have an excellent critique of Zionism, but they have nothing to offer instead but another variety of racism, bigotry and supremacism. Arab nationalists wish to replace the Zionist Jewish racist state with a racist Arab nationalist state, and believe me, the Arab nationalists make Zionism look like child’s play. Try to point this out to any Arab nationalist and you get a barrage of crap and defenses in reply. Try to point out that they are a bunch of anti-Semites and they throw you out of the group and accuse you of being a Zionist spy. Nowadays, Arab nationalism, even Arab Communism of all things, is all tied up in Islamism, and most Arab nationalists, even Arab Communists, are overt apologists for Islam. Except for the leftwing Arab women. They have a consistent critique of both Zionism as a racist oppressor of them as ethnic entities and of Islam as a religious oppressor of them as females. Arab nationalists deny or apologize for the most outrageous crimes of Arab nationalism. The genocide in Darfur is largely a result of an Arab nationalist ideology via Qaddafi of Libya infecting a sector of Arabized tribes in North Sudan and their elite in Khartoum. So, the Darfur genocide more than anything else is another one of the endless crimes and mass murders committed in the name of Arab nationalism. It is important not to pin this on all of the Arabs of Sudan. The largest Arabized tribal grouping in Darfur has long gotten along with the African tribes in Darfur, and they have stayed completely out of the conflict, despite risks to their safety from the Arab Nazis in Khartoum for doing so. So those Zionist quotes in the previous post that the Arab nationalists find so abhorrent find their mirror in the same ideology of the Arab nationalists. They wish to impose on the Israeli Jews an Arab version of the same Zionist racist crap that got imposed on them. Forget it! Life is not a zero-sum game played out by barbaric Middle Eastern tribes. We in the West at least have moved beyond this. No ethnic nationalist anywhere has a right to condemn Zionism, which is what makes the White Nationalist and neo-Nazi critique of Zionism so absurd. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. No ethnic nationalist can condemn the ethnic nationalism of another. But the problem is that all of these are supremacist, disenfranchising and ultimately expansionist ways of thinking, and obviously they will clash. The Slobodians who mistreat the Ruritanians in Slobodia will face the wrath of the expansionist Ruritanians preaching Greater Ruritania in Ruritania. Those same Ruritanians who mistreat their own ethnic minority Slobodians in Ruritania face the wrath of the Slobodians preaching Greater Slobodia in Slobodia. Get it? Ethnic nationalism doesn’t work for the same reason any gathering or conglomeration of narcissists doesn’t work. Clashes between supremacists of the ego or the Reich are unavoidable. Why do you think rock bands never last? So all White nationalist critiques of Zionism, and the reaction is nearly instinctive, need to be rejected out of hand. If White  Gentiles deserve a White separatist state, how can supporters of such deny a similar thing to the Jews? They can’t. In the same way, anti-Zionists cannot possibly support White nationalism, or any other ethnic nationalism for that matter. Opposition to Zionism is part and parcel of opposition to ethnic nationalism. Let us take a look at one of Kevin MacDonald’s latest writings. MacDonald is an interesting fellow who has written a lot about Jews and has been accused of being an anti-Semite. Actually, much of what he says about them is simply true. It is perhaps due to that that the reaction to him has been so violent. After all, the most infuriating insults of all have some truth behind them and therefore sting the hardest. Unfortunately, in recent days, MacDonald is turning into an actual anti-Semite, but I guess after the Dresden Firestorm of attacks against him, it was an inevitable turn of mind. He still has a lot of good things to say, but we need to read him more critically now. MacDonald notes that he does support Zionism in an abstract sense, since he is a White nationalist and realizes the obvious fact that Zionism is just White nationalism for Jews. What makes him so mad is the same thing that has pissed off nationalists about Jews for 200 years. Jews are a bunch of hypocrites. As a minority in Western lands, they typically rebel against the society, culture and religion and work to dismantle them and turn them into some sort of deracinated or deculturalized mush. Supposedly this is done because ethnoculturally neutered states are safer for the Jews, but there may be other reasons. Your average Jew is raised from an early age to feel he is superior to the Gentiles around him, and in some respects this is true. So the rebellion may be from the point of view of a culture that sees itself as superior rebelling against a culture they see as inferior. Both of these reasons are probably why so many Diaspora Jews are rebels, but the good for the Jews thing is probably the main reason. White Gentile cultures with a single dominant ethnicity, culture and religion tied together by some sort of Volkisch nationalism have always been the hardest on the Jews. Christianity has a track record of centuries of evil and crimes against Jews, and Jews don’t forgive or forget easily. In fact, their latest motto seems to be a tribal “never forgive, never forget” thing. Obviously Hollywood Jews bash Christianity. How could they not? This is the WN complaint against Jews. MacDonald offers Jews a deal. WN’s will support Israel and Zionism if the Jewish Lobby works just as hard to retain White (where White includes Jews) political and cultural dominance in America. Jews won’t go for this. Ethnic nationalism is only ok for Jews. Everywhere else, especially in White Gentile nations, it needs to be dismantled and replaced with some sort of Brazilified racial/ethnic/cultural mystery casserole that if applied to Jews themselves would make them a mere memory in a few generations. So it’s not Zionism that WN’s object to. It’s Jewish hypocrisy, and the word “hypocrisy” nearly rhymes with the word “Jew.” As long as Jews lead the charge for throwing the world’s White Gentile cultures into a racial, ethnic, cultural and religious Cuisinart, they certainly can’t expect any support from ethnocentric White Gentiles for their own separatist playground in the Levant.

  1. I think I would hesitate to negotiate or open borders with a people who do not recognize my right to exist and who would cut my throat as I sleep; whatever the reason for it.

  2. Paul,
Let me show you where I am coming from. Here is a post from another forum that shows how brain-addled these Islamic propogandist truly are.
Him:The most important thing of the Islamic scene in Europe is that there 25-30 million if not Muslims in it. This figure has many implications. The Muslims keep having children, while the Europeans don’t. This means within 20 years, the Muslims will be a majority, which may have exceptional influence on the decision-making. This makes other groups very angry, and they consider this to be very dangerous. These are the enemies of Islam, and they are the the conspiracy effecting Europe and the larger world for so many years. Statistics show that 70% do not know who the Prophet of Muslims is. The fact that Muhammad(peace be upon him) is the Prophet of the Muslims is not known to many people in the West. That’s just one example. Not mention just his name, but who he was. Even if they know that the name of the Muslims Prophet is Muhammad(peace be upon him) , they next to nothing about him, about his history, when he lived, and so on. They know nothing about him. The goal of the enemies of Islam is to drive the 20-30 million(Muslims) out of Europe, or to provoke them in a way that would lead to their banishment. If (the Muslims) remain in Europe, this will be very dangerous, so they must leave. This is an intentional and premedidated provokations in order to drive the Muslims out of their current home-Europe. Yes, when the offensive cartoons first apeared, it was strange to see that the button they press(to provoke) the Muslims the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) , which are sacred to them is the same buttom that is sacred to the West- freedom of speech. What is sacred in the West freedom of speech is their equivalent of the Qur’an. That is what they hold sacred. The West is attacking what the Muslims hold sacred by means of what the West itself holds sacred. In order to drive the Muslims out of Europe, the European peoples must have a pretext giving them legitimacy to do so, like they had in Bosnia. After all, Bosnia is in Europe, so nobody can claim this is far-fetched. Bosnia is not far away. Therefore, their solution is to continue the provocation (against the Muslims) , and to continue to do things that would provoke the Muslims, who would make mistakes, such as bombings and other unusual responses. Or simply upon occasion to be set-up to make such things a norm within them and this is a form of brainwashing. Then the European people would say: ‘What’s this? What are they doing? ‘. Then they would have a pretext for what would follow. This is a mental preparation for the Europeans to drive out the Muslims. This is my interpretation of things. Otherwise, what do they gain by offending (the Muslims) in different ways all the time, when the outcome is known in advance? It is indeed illogical. People will tell you that Denmark suffered economic losses, and this is true. So why does it continue? Because the old age conspiracy that is still rampent in Europe and else where believe that it is more beneficial to (drive out) the 30 million and that it outweighs the boycott. So they are pushing in that direction. What is the solution? We must be realistic and positive. What needs to be done? What we need is for the 30 million Muslims in Europe to infiltrate(society) , and to show Europeans and Western society how respectable and successful they are. Those are the key words: ‘ I am raspectable and successful.’ If the 30 million Muslims, and this goes to Muslims in general in way too, manage to ignore these provocations and understand where the enemy is coming from, they can channel their anger in support of the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) and Islam into becoming walking propaganda machines. Each person should say: ‘ I am an ambassador for Islam’, and they should take action throughout Europe in the companies where they work, in sport clubs, and in any place where they can mingle and fit in with the Europeans, and where they can show them their moral values and their success. And they should create this to make it more possible. That will abolish the plan, and the Muslims will remain in Europe. We really need ten years for the Muslims in Europe to be firmly established, very successful and to destroy the conspiracy which iss effecting the world.
Me:This post is more of your drivel. Nato (Europeans) supported the Muslims in Bosnia against the Serbs. There is no conspiracy to drive Muslims from Europe.
Him:On the surface, yes. But looking beneath the surface may reveal something quite different. In Bosnia, the real problem with Milosevic was not what he was doing, but only that he was taking too long to do it. After all, it was an American plan, devised by former US Secretary of State Cyrus Vance in 1992, that handed the Milosevic regime and the fascist Bosnian Serbs the entire arsenal of former Yugoslavia. To further ensure the Serbian success. NATO navies and UN troops enforced an arms embargo against the Sarajevo goverment. For this open aggression NATO powers paid a big political price in terms of world opinion, especially Muslim world opinion. And when I talk of a ‘conspiracy’ I mean the hold that shadowy societies have on Western goverments for centuries.
Me:This is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard. Milosovic came into power during the break up of the Soviet Union and the subsequent breakdown of Yugoslavia. So blame the Russians but don’t blame America or the Europeans. And if we enforced an arms embargo it was probably because we didn’t want to happen what actually happened.
Him:Say whatever you want it doesnt make a difference when it is all true. I bet you will all say something along those lines of the Gulf War 2 of today
Him again:And did you know the Bosnian Parliamentary Assembley set up under the ‘Constitution’ finalised under the Dayton Accords, largely acts as a ‘rubber stamp’? Behind the democratic facade, actual political power rests in the hands of a ‘parrallel government’ headed by the High Representative and staffed by expatriate advisors.
Moreover, the Constitution agreed in Dayton hands over the reins of economic policy to IMF, the World Bank, and the London based European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) . Article VII stipulates that the first Governer of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to be appointed by the IMF and ‘shall not be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina or a neighbouring State…’ Moreover the Central Bank: ‘For the first six years (…) it may not exstend credit by creating money, operating in this respect as a currency board’ (Article VII) .
The tasks of managing the Bosnian economy have been carefully divided among donor agencies: while the Central Bank is under IMF custody, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) heads the Commission on Public Corporations which surpervises operations of all public sector enterprises including energy, water, postal service, roads, railways, etc. The President of the EBRD appoints the Chairman of the Commission, which also oversees public sector restructuring, meaning primarily the sell-off of State and socially owned assets and the procurement of long term investment funds.
The territorial partition of Bosnia between the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Bosnian-Serb Republika Srpska under the Dayton Accords was done in accordance with Western economic interest.
Bosnia, Kosova yesterday and Irak today. Same stuff. Same kind of players. Same game.

  3. Thanks Tad. I shall print this out and read it carefully before replying. It looks too important not to pay close attention to it. I want you to know that I am not an English representative of Hamas, the Muslim brotherhood or any such thing. But you must have figured that out by now. Islam looks regressive to me.
In fact I know zilch about Islam, probably likle most Anglo-saxon Westerners. It seems, like Judaism, to be a totalising religion; i.e. it involves the totality of one’s life and it is extremely authoritarian (this is true of Judaism, too; they have rules for everything, at least if you’re Orthodox or Hassidic), at least this is how it appears to a secular outsider like me who believes in science and and the 18th European Enlightenment, neither of which appear to have touched Islam yet.

“I think I would hesitate to negotiate or open borders with a people who do not recognize my right to exist and who would cut my throat as I sleep; whatever the reason for it.”
Hmmm…well keep the border closed then. I still don’t see a problem. The point is, once Israel ends the Occupation of the West Bank and Gaza (including all the illegal settlements on the West Bank – I guess a rich country like Israel can leave all the buildings intact for the Pals, not tear them down, as they did when they evacuated Gaza), Hamas ceases to be a problem. Overnight. As Finkelstein says in his talk on Gandhi, non-violence and the resolution of the Israel/Palestine conflict, the solution is incredibly uncontroversial, and would disarm the Islamists pretty much immediately. Check out Finkelstein’s talk on google video. He’s very much an American liberal, not an anti-Zionist, just a non-Zionist Jew I guess
who sounds pretty practical, as well as moderate, middle of the road. It’s a little surprising to me that Israel has decided to ban a rational moderate thinker like Finkelstein from its territory, but then I don’t know shit, do I?
But then I guess those radical extremist nutters in the Netanyahu, Livni and Olmert administrations are capable of pretty much anything, don’t you think? Especially that character Lieberman, the bouncer and doorman from Moldova.

  7. Paul,
I have already stated that I am in favor of Israel ending the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. They should also leave all the settlements there. I never heard that Israel demolished it’s settlements after leaving Gaza. What I did see was Israel correctly remove those settlers by force, which you seem to forget mentioning in your posts. How did Hamas repay them? By firing rockets into Israel.
“But then I guess those radical extremist nutters in the Netanyahu, Livni and Olmert administrations are capable of pretty much anything, don’t you think? Especially that character Lieberman, the bouncer and doorman from Moldova.”
I’ve never been a fan of these guys, especially Netanyahu.

  8. OK Tad, so we agree on something, quite a lot from the sound of it. Yeah, so Israel got 8,000 settlers out of Gaza in 2005, and I think some force was inevitably used because some of the settlers were very unwilling to leave, and within a year they had settled anther 30,000 Jews in the West Bank. As for destroying the houses, I can’t be sure of my facts in the case of Gaza. It’s certainly what the Israelis did when they pulled out of Occupied Sinai in 1979, and so I EXPECT them to do the same in Gaza. So, concomitant with the withdrawal of settlers from Gaza, there was an expansion in illegal settlement activity, a considerable expansion.
But my point is that the military occupation of Gaza did not end, and then the place was almost completely blockaded from the outside world (sure, niggardly amounts of medical supplies get through), a blockade which makes the US embargo on Cuba seem tame in comparison. The rockets fired at Sderot and Ashkelon and Be’ersheva were Israel’s “reward” for not ending the military occupation and military incursions into Gaza in 2005 following the pullout, and subsequently for the blockade which happened pretty much straight after Hamas winning the elections in January 2006. I’ve got to check my facts and chronology on this. And now I’ve got to have a rest too. I’ve just cycled a long way.
I’ll read the Islamic nuthead stuff later. I’m sure it’ll be entertaining, completely loopy, and not a little worrying.

  9. All the above makes perfect sense to me, at least at first sight, but this:
“30,000 elderly American jews died last year and will not be replaced by new jews.”
I mean, Jews are having children just like other people, right? Are you saying there is an overall decline in the Jewish population, and that this is a source of concern to you? Is there a low birth rate or something?
Do you speak Yiddish. it appears that yiddish is not encouraged in Israel. It exists, but there are not that many speakers, and they’re mostly elderly. Same with Ladino. It would be a shame to lose both languages (I’m a linguist, so I feel about this, and I like Ladino, which I can read. Yiddish I don’t understand. It’s kind of similar to German isn’t it, with lots of words taken from Hebrew?)

  10. “I dont suppot segregation but this based on lifestyle not race.”
What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

  11. Yeah personally I have had it with this. Jews who will not make friends with or socialize with non-Jews need to be called out and accused of being bigots and racists, because this is what they are. What would we say about a White who will not socialize with or befriend non-Whites? RACIST. Jews don’t get a pass.
Jews can marry, date or have sex with anyone they want. Sexual behavior is an incredibly private part of life and the fact that people don’t think we have a right to choose who we want to sleep with or marry is completely outrageous. No one has to have sex with anyone! No one has to have sex with people of other races!
No one has to even be attracted to people of other races. It’s not racist for a White to not be attracted to Blacks or vice versa. The fact that Whites are getting called out for saying they don’t want to date, have sex or marry Blacks is absolutely outrageous. If there is one private sphere in life, it is sex. This area is ours to do with as we please, and it’s not possible to make racist decisions in that area.
So, of course Jews have a right to want to only marry another Jew, or even only date other Jews. Of course they can. And of course it’s not racist for wanting that. But what happens to a White man who says, “Oh, I only want to date White women. I will only marry another White woman, not a woman of another race.” The chorus stands up and calls him RACIST. Jews are not racist for being choosy about marriage and neither is anyone else.

  12. I’m glad you are learning some foreign languages, Olive!
IMHO, Yiddish is actually closest to some Palatinian (Pfalzisch) dialects from around the town of Mainz on the Rhine River in southwest Germany near France. Sure, it has lots of East German in it too and Slavic, but I think that’s the real origin of the language.
It’s so far outside of German now that though it is Germanic, it’s listed separately from Low, Middle and High German, the three main branches, in its own branch altogether. Though I would put it in Middle due to the Pfalzisch connection.

  13. More stuff from my kook Islamist buddy. I’m sorry. His stuff is so far out I have to post it.
Me: (In response to the last post) Well I’m not going to allow your lunacy to waste my time by me going out and researching the current government of Bosnia Herzegovina. What you wrote here sounds like common sense with a negative Islamic slant on it. How can you possibly compare Bosnia and Kosovo with Iraq? Yes, Muslims were ethnic cleansed in Bosnia but that was done by the Serbs. Nato (America and the Europeans) intervened in the Muslims’ behalf and stopped it. The same with Kosovo. The bad guys were the Serbs. They exiled all the Muslims. America intervened and kicked the Serb army out of Kosovo. Both Bosnia and Kosovo are the opposite of Iraq.
Him:In Kosova the big task of removing Muslims from their homes had been accomplished in very short period.More than half a million were expelled in just two weeks. In addition, this great achievement did not come with any political costs attached to it. No one can blame NATO; it clearly seemed to have been working around the clock to ‘help’ the Muslims.
The results of this brilliant strategy have been spectacular. Consider the following:
    1. It had divided the Muslim world with some countries like Iran and Iraq opposing the NATO operation while others supporting it. There was intense even acrimonious, debate among Muslim intellectuals about what was really going on. In Bosnia everyone was together in understanding the role of all parties involved.
    2. It had preempted any role for the Muslim World. In Bosnia the OIC (Organization for Islamic Conference) was at least talking. Malaysia, Iran, and some other countries did even provide some material support for the Bosnians. In Kosova, it is as if the Muslim world did not even exist.
    3. It had peempted any support from the Mujahideen from other countries. Although the total number of Mujahideen that reached Bosnia were very small, their influence was much larger than their numbers would indicate. Their very presence helped many lost Muslims to rediscover their faith. The mosques and schools for Islamic education began to attract many Bosnian Muslims. That is why they were considered a great ‘danger’ by NATO forces and the Dayton Accord made it a point to have them removed from Bosnia. And the Clinton Administration were the ones that put in with the Mujahideen a terrorist element. Again, this unwelcome side effect of the prolonging of Bosnian operation has been eliminated in Kosova.
    4. The operation has not only established NATO ‘credibility’ (read awe): it has also given it a new legitimacy. How can anyone supporting it today question a similar action tomorrow because it was taken outside the U. N. system?
    5. The operation has provided a great public-relations opportunity that would be expected to weaken the demands to free the Arabian Peninsula of the presence of foreign troops.
The main reason why I made the comparison Tad is that thy’re purely about want to assert control over those areas for both economic and political reasons, and they do not have any true fundamental problem with the treatment of Muslims, which had been going on for a long time which they frankly ignored. In big power games, things are hardly ever the way they appear on the surface. To accept everything on face value takes a great leap of faith. For those who do not have this faith like my friend Tad, here are some questions that intruged the minds of everyone conserned at the time about the great tragedy that was unfolding in Kosova, along candid answers.
    Q. Who was doing what in Kosova?
    A. There are three parties there: Muslims, Serbs, and Western powers under the flag of NATO. Muslims wanted to live peacefully in their own homes and since that was denied under Serb occupation, they wanted freedom. Serbs wanted to subjugate and repress Muslims in the same way that Isreal subjugates Palestinians. NATO pwers wanted to assert their control over this area for both economic and political reasons, but had not any fundamental problem with the Serb’s treatment of Muslims, which had been going for a decade.
NATO was beating the Serbs but not in a way that would stop them beating the Muslims.
    Q. But NATO was helping the Muslims.
    A. Actually NATO had avoided every option that could materially help the Muslims. It rejected the main demand of Kosova for independence. The agreement that KLA had reluctantly agreed to, was clearly in favour of Serbs. But the Serbs wanted even more and the deal had not gone through. If the motive were to avert human tragedy as President Clinton claimed, that could have been done by letting the KLA do its job. They could have been provided with weapons or at least allowed to get them from Muslim countries. Rather they were asked to scale down their military activities and warned not to try to take any advantage of the NATO involvement.. Even if for its ‘strategic interests’ NATO wanted to do the job itself, it could still have at least used the Apache helicopter gunships that would be most effective in the battlefield against the Serbs as they attacked town after town in Kosova. ‘They’re the perfect weapon for NATO’s ground attack operation and they’re based just hundred of miles away from embattled Kosova” wrote L.A. Times (10 April 99) . Why had they not been employed? According to the newspaper. Sen. Charles Hagel (R. Neb) asked the question of NATO authorities after visiting them in that area. ‘We pressed them hard on this and they just don’t have a good answer.’
    Q. NATO introduced ground troops in Kosova?
    A. The ground troops were employed but only when the time was ‘right’. That means when the Muslims had been so badly beaten that they would not have any second thoughts about a Dayton type settlement being imposed on them. Rather they would consider such a blessing.
    Q. What is wrong with Dayton?
    A. Thanks to Dayton agreement, Bosnia today is a colony of the big powers.
Bosnia, Kosova and Iraq. Same stuff. Same kind of players. Same sick game.
(I’m still formulating my reponse to this propaganda but mostly he is saying that the problem with us helping in Kosovo is that they like us now instead of Iran and the Islamists. Isn’t that too bad?)

  14. I thought Yiddish was based on Low German. Are you a German linguist?
No one really knows how to classify this crazy language, but I really doubt that it is based much on Low German. Yiddish speakers who go to the Palatine region around Mainz say they dialect there sure sounds a lot like Yiddish. There were lots of German Jews living in that region a long time ago.
I guess you could call me a German linguist. Check
this out. I’ve written about 170 pages on the subject.

  15. “Jews who will not make friends with or socialize with non-Jews need to be called out and accused of being bigots and racists, because this is what they are.”
Awwww. Are you upset that Hassidim won’t be your fwiend?

    1. GAY STATE GIRL Jews seem to feel some affinity for Catholics of all the Christian Sects. I’m not sure if its because they been around Catholics sense time immemorial or simply because Jews often live around Irish-Catholics, Italians in the Northeast.
There is the guilt thing, which Protestants do not seem to possess to the same degree.

  16. Look Lindsay. Your ancestral language is a first lanuage by more than 500 million speakers and has left and inprint all over the world. On the other hand, my ancestral language is for all intent and purposes, a dead language. I don’t know how you’ll counter that, but when you stop responding, I can see that my argument is pretty good.

    1. IMVHO, we are right, and if anyone wants to join us fine, if not, not. We do not have to bow to their dedmnas. If we stand strong, AND WITH HALACHA, Hashem will help, and He is stronger than all the enemies in the world. Remember the miracles of the earlier wars against Israel. I particularly remember something that happened when a battalion of Israeli soldiers were surrounded near Hevron, and suddenly the Arabs surrendered. When asked why, they described 3 huge ghostly patriarchal figures that they had seen with the Jews! When we do as G-d wants, He helps us! An end to this abominable situation already!!!

    2. Aramaic is not a dead language. Yiddish is on its way out but certain words like Kitsch or Nebbish will always be with us.

  17. Interesting you both drive me in different directions.
When I hear Israel urging Jews to make Aliyah to “flee the silent holocaust,” I swear off Israel completely, but when I hear jews or philosemitic gentiles talking about how diasporism is necessary for jewish creativity to flourish, then I get inspired to defend Jewish nationalism. Thanks Lindsay, you’ve renewed an interest. I thanked Phil, too. He responded.

    1. I tend to agree with the latter: those who went to Europe were forced to into a situation somewhat different than that of Morocco or Yemen and the results are different.

  18. “The resulting tension spurs Jewish creativity.”
I don’t believe there such thing as jewish genius or jewish creativity or that it can be best cultivated in the presence of others’. Have you ever been to Israel? One thing they don’t lack is creativity. If they were to take money used for military expenses and divert it elsewhere, they could be quite successful. I don’t need a Jewish super power within diaspora nations, just a small and successful homogenous country like Finland, Costa Rica, or Taiwan.

  19. When God created his Jews he knew that they would consume one another, unless they had something else to focus on, so he created the Gentile.
